You should do a video ranking all of the new Boruto-specific ninjutsu. I would imagine I am not the only one who skipped A LOT of filler to get caught up with Boruto consequentially I don't know 85% of the new gen, what jutsus they use, or anything. I saw a girl use a cat Susanoo and I am entirely lost. I feel like this is exactly the kinda thing you can clarify.

Naruto’s impact is bigger than Dragon Ball’s is a HOT take. Not saying they aren’t both huge but DB is still more impactful to western society.
Dbz as a whole not really, but Goku and Vegeta yes, they are everywhere. Naruto has more character and symbology plastered all over everything. Going around the city I will see all kinds of different Naruto references on clothes and stuff but when I see DBZ stuff its literally just Goku or Vegeta standing there going SS

Other big thing Kishimoto learned from Naruto? The ability to have an ending in mind.
Narutos biggest "plot holes" always stemmed from the fact that Kishimoto didn't really have an idea in mind for how thestory was going; instead just writing based on editorial feedback and his own bouts of inspiration. And while he was able to write on the fly for years and get away with it; the Fourth War in particular was his downfall because eventually the ideas got away from him.
The flashforward of Kawaki and Borutos duel over the destroyed village literally page 1 of the manga is a masterpeice of a move, because now no matter what new ideas he decides to add over the time; he always has a centre point for the plot to refer back to.
But he did have an ending in mind. In the interview where he said that, it was a mistranslation. Kishimoto made a joke that didn't translate well. You can look it up yourself.
No it isn't. Limiting yourself with that flash forward was insanely stupid. Also Boruto sucks.
It's still just Naruto vs Sasuke at the Final Valley 2.0. Or Hashirama vs Madara 3.0.
Yeah, it's an ending. But it's still the same thing as the last series.
Kawaki is just a Sasuke that was introduced later in the story for Boruto's Naruto.

So no a malnourished Spartan would kill you with very little issue. Mostly because modern day people unless they specifically train for it are pretty weak overall and have no pain tolerance for actual damage inflicted from a fight. Its actually surprising how many "Tough guys" fold the moment you start inflicting actual pain.
Its why I think the series is weird. These kids have trained less than their parents but are all just naturally at War Era arc levels of power and it just doesn't make sense.
I hope Hinata slaps Kawaki again, when she is freed. With what he did, he prove that everybody in Konoha was right in fearing Naruto, being around their families.
Boruto was worried about him being around Hinata and Himawari and was correct about it. Kawaki sealed Hinata and Naruto (who gave him the benefit of the dout), faked their deaths, causing imense trauma to Hima and made Boruto be hunted by the entire shinobi world. Without Sasuke, he would be dead now.

I have never seen DBZ and never will. It doesn't have the style I like at all. I think that's exactly the deciding factor between Naruto and DBZ for most people. Naruto is better in every way.

Honestly I love boruto but i think no matter what i'll always love naruto more because it's my first anime ever and because of the loveble cast of it (i know they dont get much screentime in shippuden but still).
We've seen naruto grow up and learn way more than we've seen boruto and i just love the journey. And it also feels like the naruto world is way bigger even though its the same, because we learned about nearly all villages and regions even the samurai for example, its just feels like a more complete world and story overall despite all the flaws it has.

That attempt at a dig at One Piece falls flat when you actually look at it:
One Piece: Volumes = 107 sales = 523.2M Sales per Volume roughly 4.9M
Naruto Volumes = 72 sales = 250M Sales per Volume roughly 3.5M
One Piece may not be the absolute best but in terms of its sales you really can't argue that it dominates every other manga no matter how you try to word it. even if they had the same number of Volumes One Piece sales would be 352M, still 100M over Naruto.....

When I first watched Bourto i didn’t like it bc their was no new story building, world building or story elements. Thats until I looked at Bourto as a stand only series not related to Naruto. The series tells a story about a kid who is weak and going up against powerful foes, way stronger than him. So, like any young person that hasn’t learned enough he loses. With Boruto they take that idea “you’re to young to go against someone as powerful as me” and add an entity way more powerful than anything, mono. Drawing the comparison to real life, if you wanna win you need to sacrifice who you are now to become better later. And that thing you sacrifice for can lead to people hating you or disliking you for what you’ve become. For example, if you become an asshole to attract girls but your family never seen you like that, they would hate you. Which the show does, we are the ones hating and Boruto is trying to show us he doesn’t deserve to be hated or disliked. That he can sacrifice his old self and come out accepted by everyone. Ig what i am saying is Boruto is a metaphor for real life.

Boruto by the first episode was comfortably a Chunin level ninja without trying. Yes he uses short cuts, thats because he was lazy. Everything came and still comes to him EFFORTLESSLY. He is a god-tier prodigy who has the gift of being able to master any jutsu he sees performed. He literally has one of the most powerful abilities of the Tree Tomoe Sharingan, as a default power. Boruto within the first few episodes we see that he has invented his own jutsus like his streaming jutsu that increases his speed. Which btw requires him to know Shadow Clone, an A rank jutsu and this was before he became a Genin.
If you took Academy Student Boruto and dropped him into Naruto's Chunin Exams and he would sweep all but like Gaara and maybe Lee.

I don't know what Kishimoto's plans are, but if he doesn't personally deliver a strong Naruto and Sasuke again at the end of Boruto, it will be a huge disappointment, and I think not just for me. No one new is watching One Piece lmao, everybody just knows who Goku is. Doesn’t mean you watched DBZ and One Piece puts people off to anime….Naruto is the perfect mix of both. It’s long enough and engaging a large portion of the anime run.

The fact that there is NO world building in Boruto, a show about Gods and ninja, is absurd
I don't think you know what world building is? Shinjutsu, the Otsustuki, Karma seals, scientific ninja tools; those are all expansions brought in from Boruto.

Yeah, one piece doesn’t sell more than naruto because it has more content/volumes. It sells more because it’s more popular, one piece always sold more than naruto even when they ran concurrently. One piece is in the top 3 most sold comic books of all time rivaling giants like Batman and Superman

I've loved Two Blue Vortex so far. My only wish would be that it makes the other new generation characters relevant again since they were a big part of the charm of the first part. Thankfully, we've gotten to see a little bit more of them recently with Ino-Shika-Cho. I really wonder what Iwabee has been up to.
Yeah, I liked the other teams we only see in the anime, I wish we could see what they're up to in Two Blue Vortex, even if it's for a small conclusion, but if the anime comes back seasonal we might never see them again

I fell in love Naruto during Covid at that time Boruto already out, so of course I was ready to deep die, from day one it’s been nothing but amazing even got me into reading manga again.
I was one of the ones who stuck through Boruto when everyone else was giving up on it. Glad to see now that Kishi has returned to the storycrafting that made him famous, the story and the characters are finally getting the attention they deserve.
Naruto's ideology led to his success, but that success led to Boruto's failure due to the peace you talked about in the shinobi world, which is what gave him his ideology, and is why he's one of, if not the, most popular character in the manga, especially now with Two Blue Vortex.
