@@kleatise52 kisame has been questioned. If I'm not wrong it's still up for debate. But there are other people from the mist village that 'appear' to have gills and shark teeth. So it could be a tradition. Nick has a video where he explains the uncertainty of if that's all esthetic, or if he's actually a fish person.

It appears both of you overlooked, missed or for whatever reason are side stepping the implication at the tail end of @MrCarolinaRudeboi's comment. The references to gender are clear and surface level directly and easily consistent and in-line with what we know to have been previous host bodies he utilized with his Immortality jutsu. The portion regarding "something not of this world" is not so easily applicable in this same way. The grotesque but clearly of the earth existence of the great white snake is, while outlandish and surreal, still fairly described as of this earth.
That is not to say that it means the type of theory Nick is entertaining here, but outside of just odd word choice for the sake of it, it seems an odd inclusion just for mystery's sake plotwise in the context of the moment. What's also conspicuous is you ALMOST deciding to say Nick may be engaging in weird speculation, which is ALMOST as if you're suggesting that would be unusual or something. Lol. Not that you said that though, just that it ALMOST appears as if you ALMOST did. No worries, though as it appears you wouldn't do EXACTLY that, but something much less direct and evasive like almost saying something you mean..lol.

Boruto 'is' able to use his Karma mark, its just that he doesn't want to to use his borrowed power anymore and just wants to complete his goals with his own power.
I feel like Momo with the use of the Karma marking might be able to come out like he did before the time skip. So maybe he doesn’t want to use the karma marking for that reason

Orochimaru deep down might see Jiraiya in Kashin Koji and might want to keep him close to, in a way to work together with Jiraiya again.
Given that in the 4th ninja war Tsunade made that comment that Jiraiya would still be alive if Orochimaru "changed" much sooner. That could have stuck with him.
Isanami "changed" orochimaru from within anko's cursed mark , but the infinite tsukyomi changed him back to what he was before .

If boruto gets sage mode, it's over for Naruto. Naruto has a chance to come out as a sage God. Not alien related, just sage mode, that's so ultimate he gets permanent black lining in his eyes that never goes away, a walking Chakra vacuum entity. There is nothing he can offer since his been sealed but sage mode. Naruto said he was basically a master of sage mode but never showed us what he could do right before his son died. Im telling you, as we speak, Naruto is gaining chakra like "tree" growing over time

This would be the greatest *Cannon* Retcon ever, Kishimoto would benefit from making the connection between the Kaguya Clan always being in Naruto with Orochimaru being a descendant of Shibai that’s been trying to get an Otsutsuki body and become immortal… forever.
Also, excellent foreshadowing for how an Otsutsuki would always be the big bad with Orichimaru being the first big bad in the Konaha Crush Arc.

Honestly would be cool to see orichimaru play a part of how things are turning out. He was so hyped up then he became a lil irrelevant. He was a great character and villain. I like this theory. If anyone can do what Amado does or similar, it’s orichimaru. I’ve wanted him to play a bigger part for a long time. Thanks to him Naruto got to meet his dad and the other hokage w/ the reanimation jutsu and that played a huge part in the war arc! Keep cooking!

Winning isn't about raw power anymore. Like, Shibai achieves his goals after absorbing worlds for power, but then basically gets bored. He decides to send his consciousness out into the universes and stumbles upon Earth, leaving a small portion of him in the planet to grow and learn more about it. Starts as an itty bitty snake, but constantly reincarnates into different creatures until he becomes Orochimaru?

Orochimaru is one of those characters whose full story and goals have seemingly remained intentionally fluid throughout the years. I think it’s an important detail to note that we’re almost never in Orochimaru’s head, other than when he’s thinking about a specific in-the-moment kind of things. Given their eyes, I’ve contemplated whether or not they’re always drawing in senjutsu chakra even as an imperfect sage. They also have a snake tongue when the need arises, and inside the minds of their victims he takes the form of a monstrous snake.
If I had to guess, it’s that Orochimaru is derived of a shinjutsu or process still unknown to us. But I get the feeling that they’re something akin to a shinjutsu summon, or a way to create life from scratch using shinjutsu. It would explain how Orochimaru is able to move their consciousness between bodies to effectively summon/mold themselves through someone else’s physical body - something nobody else knows how to do. And if Shibai wanted Orochimaru to remain on the world to learn about different jutsus, that could be a motivation. Another motivation could be that orochimaru wants to learn all ninjutsu not just for curiosity’s sake, but because as a being derived from shinjutsu, they’re always striving to understand themselves better, too, as all jutsus are derived from shinjutsu. It could even be that Orochimaru has long suspected something akin to this but through multiple cycles of life and death or some kind of trauma has forgotten their true origins.

IIRC Orichimaru also used cursed seals to help stabilize the ability of the clan that lived in a cave because they turned into clouds against their will in some filler arc

I can easily answer this Orochimaru theory because he’s one of my top five favorite characters…‼️🤯 it’s because he’s been training Boruto alongside Kashin Koji and I think that Orochimaru modified Kashin Koji To make Him fully remember his past life As Jiraiya we know he’s had little memories of Jiraiya however it’s very I mean very possible that Orochimaru experimented on him… also he’s probably Unaffected by the Omnipotence… it’s possible that Orochimaru taught Boruto FTG he probably never perfected it Orochimaru no he knew the formula… I mean for years he wanted Sasukes Sharingan than all of a sudden in Boruto bro Created Shin Uchiha it’s been canonically confirmed that Shin Uchiha was Shisuis body modified and tuned into Shin so if he can Create Sharingan he can create an entire world

Maybe they can figure out some procedure that extracts Momoshiki from Karma similar to how he was extracted from the cursed seal. It'd be better if done in some manner close to the Totsuka blade but he wasn't able to study that. Maybe they'll have to revive Momoshiki to free Boruto then destroy Momoshiki somehow. Where would they get a piece of his flesh to use, I'm not sure. I like this line of thought though.

@nchammer23 not that I'm ignoring Momoshiki factor, but could Kurama's Chakra manifesting distinctly in Himawari be a destabilizing effect on Boruto? The reason I ask this is because both Boruto and Himawari have whiskers. So it would stand to reason that Boruto at some point also had Kurama's Chakra within. But now that Kurama is stronger within one sibling, is the other weaker? Or should we treat Boruto with Gold & Silver bros rules?

The way Orochimaru can live in a curse seal works just like a Karma marking. He might knowledge or ties to Kaguya
Maybe himawari has better affinity for kurama because of the potential theory that narutos Chakra is still mixed with kuramas from the baryon mode. This would add to her affinity, technically, because she has a familial connection to naruto.
