I did about two decades out in The Sun in that valley, at times I would find myself in a convenient store staring at the chips display, zoning out as I really don't like eating such things, then I would notice my salt stained shirt and know why. It was so bad that I started building sand and heat proof custom stereos as the black boom boxes would melt.
@@vegasdon One has to be careful. It is exactly like twenty plus below zero F, think fast or it might be your last. I would be up at 3:30am and right near the site between dark and midnight blue, then bail ~2pm. then pick up materials. Used to play twenty-one, one-two deck, for hours soaking up AC and many drinks for $20, then walk away with 40-75 bucks. While my helper was certain that the waitress was in love with him... Somehow, they equated me with that MIT group (early 90's?) and after awhile everywhere I went they stationed a pit boss on each side of the dealer, so I just stopped. One time I answered "Isn't it about counting to twenty-one?" and got escorted out.
@@vegasdon Can't about that and already did, mentioned it about the libraries, they want a peer review paper to back it up! Sandia didn't like my alternative energy device either. Really, I was taken aback, that they wouldn't let me win, I didn't have a system, just a lot of math background.
