A mass of humanity and 33 very, very fast cars! Nothing else quite like it anywhere in automobile racing! Section C has a very nice view! I will be back next year!
@@douglasdavis8395 though actually my family was in sector 31 row dd seats 12-16 (if you know the seating arrangement you can spot me about 10-20 times during the indy 500 broadcast
Where is this? North Vista? We sit at the top of NW vista, section 15, its closer to the pit entrance, these are good too. not a bad seat on the outside of the track. she is beautiful!
Yes. We are in the very top row above the regular stands. There are 2 rows up there. We are seats 1 and 2. The view is amazing. Just hate all the idiots who want to come up there during the race and try to stand in my way. I’ve had some unpleasant interactions with some of them. I pay a lot of money for those seats and don’t appreciate people trying to Jack up my view. 😉
I believe this still qualifies as NW Vista... probably around section S. But way, WAY higher than I've ever sat on race day. Normally, one would have to bribe a yellow-shirt to go up there on practice days. It's what I've been telling people: racing is one of the only spectator sports where you actually want to be "far away" from the action... just so you can see more and take it all in. This was a KA vid.
@@jscorp681 somehow my mom came across 2 tickets above the top row, must be the same seats you're talking about. She said she was up there with spotters or race officials. It is an amazing seat in row double R, in the shade with the chain link backrest, I cannot imagine being 10 or 15 feet higher... it's always funny when I take someone new, and recommend and hooded sweatshirt on memorial day weekend. If it isn't 100 degrees you might get chilly up there. God bless IMS and the 500. Roger made some good changes but that same I-beam I hang off of for 3.5 hrs once every year has been the same since 1997. Love it.
@@johnschwindt3049 yes, it’s been quite chilly a few times in the last 3-4 years. Not as cold as 92 but still not ideal. Crazy wearing jeans and long John shirts and heavy sweatshirts in late May! You can really hear the wind in this video. It was ridiculous.
Yeah, running on ovals is for REAL race car drivers. I distinctly remember Michael Schumacher admitting he was too scared to ever run the oval at Indy. Keep sipping your champagne and watching your parades. I’ll continue to watch the real men and heroes drive at the greatest race track on the planet. 😉🤟🏻
It was nice to see 325,000 people again
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Nothing like the Indy 500!
Im so hyped for this year's race...we have so many drivers who could win it....im all for Pato tho
Thanks, Beautiful shot.
Wow indycar is getting and better 👏 can't wait to watch a race live!!
Great footage. Your seats then are about what my seats will be this year, so I especially appreciate the footage lol.

I hope to see you there. (I was in S49 last time and I think I'll keep those tickets...you get an up-close view of turns 3 and 4 from there).
The best moment is sports is the 3 wide pace laps then the start to the Indy 500
