i remember renting this game in 3rd grade i had no idea what i just picked up and neither did my mom 😂 i popped it in for 10mins then my mom said okay let’s go we were suppose to go to a party or something i somehow talked her out of going and was able to stay home alone for hours playing this at 8-9yr old. omg i was so lit that day having so much fun but as soon as mom got home she was trippin like oh hell no turn this off now i said wait mom i can turn the gore off so she let me keep playing as soon as she wasn’t in the room you know the gore went back on 😂😂

It's amazing what you can tolerate when you're a kid. I played this when i was 11 and thought it was the greatest thing since GTA 3. Now i recognize that the game is interesting for about 2 minutes, It's a mind numbing repetitive romper stomper.
I find that in a lot of classic movies that I use to love while growing up. Same goes for old time foods/soda... All of a sudden they don't hit the same as when I was a little kid.. Some same it's the matrix ripping your reality away and other's say it's due to age.

I look back at it and my main realization is how unpolished the combat is. No lock-on (or strafing with guns, If i'm remembering correctly), same 3-hit combo, basic grabs.

Circa 02 , 5th grade , Christmas break , New Hampshire , cold and snowy weather outside , me and my best buddy and his older brother playing this game on the big screen down in his basement , my friends dad in the back ground watching info wars on the family computer and walking outside every 15 minutes to do bong rips .
I remember my friends dad constantly walking by and making comments about how the story line of this game is predictive programming for the future to come .
