Dude on the very last level I figured out if you are badly wounded just lean against any wall and you will recover your health.... That knowledge would have made the game much easier.

Me and my brother use to have the most intense battles on Guilty Gear x 2. I played Eddie, and he played Chip Zanif. Good times. Best fighting game in my opinion.
I love the ps2 metal jebus I still play mine every week because games now a days do not hold up it’s all about online and rarely story driven back in the ps2 days online wasn’t common yes we did have online games on the ps2 but most people didn’t have access to the internet we all had to depend on the story to keep us addicted
The thing that I like and what separates you from the other gaming channels is you showing gameplay footage with almost all of your games. Also your personality is just always great to watch as it comes out. Love your vids Metal Jesus! Always have me wanting more
War of the Monsters is probably my all time favorite PS2 game. I have so many memories of playing this game with my uncle when I was younger. Good times
This game is so great! It's usually pretty cheap, and you can play through the whole thing in an hour or two. So it's a great pickup for a quick, cheap action packed gaming session!
damn, how do you got to like that game?, its really frustrating for me, changed the whole 2d platforming to top down bullethell shooting where you can't see where the bullets are coming from, dodge buttons on the sticks that make it totally unpractical, weird bosses desing where some of them have different phases and others just don't, has the most weak and forgetable final boss from the series (even if its as hilarious as a colonel talking dog) and you can end it in half-hour or two, and therer is just normal, hard and time attack/speedrun modes, no replay value for me whatsoever. will pick up the other one on the system better

front mission 4 and 5...final fantasy x,x2 and 12...suikoden 3 and 5...shadow of the collosus...god of war 1 and 2...dragon quest 8...rogue galaxy..resident evil 4...persona 3... this games will always have a special place in my heart
My favourite PS2 exclusive is hands-down Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, the sequel to the original Klonoa: Door to Phantomile on the PS1. It's a mid-length platformer, clocking in at between 4 and 6 hours if you don't go for 100% collectables and it has some really fun and emotional story moments, a very well balanced level of difficulty, and just amazing graphics every step of the way! :3

SSX was a system seller for me as well! Sure there were already a ton of snowboarding games, but none looked nearly as great as SSX!!! It had jaw-dropping graphics for its time! The first game I got for my PS2!
There actually was a rumor recently that the Saga trilogy series might be getting an HD remake for current consoles. We will see BN is announcing some games December 15th.
I only recently went back to play them, but I'd buy and play them again on Switch. Especially since Xenoblade 2 is really heavily drawing from Xenosaga in design and feel. All the Xeno games are easily in my top 30 games of all time; Monolithsoft is just legendary.

Hey, you missed Shadow of Rome, one of the best PS2 exclusives. And then there are also Spy Fiction and Extermination, both by Swery65, the guy who did Deadly Premonition. Some other nice exclusive hidden gems are Shinobido, Disaster Report, Raw Danger, Firefighter FD18, Airforce Delta Strike, Echo Night: Beyond, and so on... I believe some of those appear on your other videos about the PS2, anyway. I'm just glad you remembered some really cool games such as RAD and War of the Monsters, and some interesting ones mentioned inbetween the highlights too, like Primal and Ghosthunter. Great video! P.S.: Destruction Derby Arenas is incredibly boring, it doesn't hold a candle to its predecessor, Raw.

The soundtrack to Gungrave was also by the composer for Triguns soundtrack. Tsuneo Imahori. The creator/character designer, and composer also worked together on the Gungrave anime, which is one of my favorites of all time. Such an intensely character driven story amidst all the weird cyber-necromancy and gunplay.
MetalJesusRocks that game had a sequel that was pretty mediocre in my opinion. The story was interesting but the overall gameplay wasn't as good as the first game.

Jesus Perez they just added the rest of the mainline jak games and Jax x, but yeah it really need better support. My guess is it probably takes more work, then typically emulated ports, since they have to add trophies

For PS2 Exclusivity, I would have to go with Gradius V and R-Type Final. These games look like they were in the arcade straight-up. I love schmups all over the place, but always go back to these, like Axelay and UN Squadron for the SNES. Great video!!!
SSX was a launch title over here in Blighty and what a launch title. I was torn between that and Timesplitters on release day (I did pre order) plucked for SSX but TS is great as well. Still play both.

MetalJesusRocks, I am surprised you never mentioned the voice commands in Socom, that was the biggest game changer and the reason as to why I loved Socom myself. Keep on rocking though, Bring more Nostalgia my way!
Concerning Rad (Robotic Alchemic Drive), we've heard the terms first-person and third-person when it comes to video games, but I think this game is the first second-person game (you control a character who then controls something else in the game itself). With Katamari Damacy, it was a low-cost sleeper title. I'd never heard of it but happened upon it when shopping for video games. It wasn't expensive (it was $20 at a time when PS2 games were going for around $35) so I decided to take a chance on it, and I'm glad I did for it was a terrific game.
Frig me I remember Airblade. On the demo disc that the PS2 came with, there was an Airblade level on there and I played it to death. I would LOVE a part 2 and even a 3 if there are really that many games. Your lists jog my memory of the games I used to have when I was younger but ended up selling on. I decided to start collecting a couple years ago. I'm racking up quite a stash from PS1 all the way to the PS4. A couple hundred games across 6 consoles. A bunch of them are from your hidden gems and exclusives lists. I'm still trying to recall which Dynasty Warriors games were the best in the series seeing as theres so many now. #PraisetheJesus

I bought RAD way back when. Ordered online used from gamestop. Got it, opened the case and it was the demo disc. Called them up. They said to keep it and they would send me another. A month later I got it. Really fun game and I still have it.
I have to somewhat disagree with Guilty Gear X2. It was released on Arcade first, however all the extras (Survival, Story, etc...) yes those were added on console.

I recently just purchased a PS2 again, and man... I'm having so much fun.
You can play Rogue Galaxy on ps4 now if you don't mind a digital version.
Veto9999 I REALLY want Sony to actively support that ps2 emulator on the ps4. they haven't added a ps2 game in there in months
I honestly was hoping they would add Valkyrie Profile 2 on there so I wouldn't have to keep taking out my ps2 to play it but never happened sadly ;-;

Jesus Perez they just added the rest of the mainline jak games and Jax x, but yeah it really need better support. My guess is it probably takes more work, then typically emulated ports, since they have to add trophies

I don't mind if they have trophies ir not I just want to play them on there. I don't like going back and forth between my ps4 and ps3 with the same dualshock 4 lol
So many ps2 games that were just incredible best console games yet . My favorites here are timesplitters war of the monsters and Down Hill domination.

For PS2 Exclusivity, I would have to go with Gradius V and R-Type Final. These games look like they were in the arcade straight-up. I love schmups all over the place, but always go back to these, like Axelay and UN Squadron for the SNES. Great video!!!
SSX hands down the best..still play it to this day.
The first SSX is a little rough, being the first game in the series...but those tracks are still fun to play!
Ssx is good, but SSX Tricky is everything
SSX was a launch title over here in Blighty and what a launch title. I was torn between that and Timesplitters on release day (I did pre order) plucked for SSX but TS is great as well. Still play both.

The PS2 is for me the BEST system ever, not even close. I have a PS3 and I still haven't played all the stuff I want from PS2. Anyway, here are some other games you only can play on PS2:

The ‘PS4 version’ is a digital emulation of a PS2 build though. So technically he was still right 😛
Plus at the end he mentions that some of the games that were talked about are on the PS4 as a digital download.
MetalJesusRocks, I am surprised you never mentioned the voice commands in Socom, that was the biggest game changer and the reason as to why I loved Socom myself.

Concerning Rad (Robotic Alchemic Drive), we've heard the terms first-person and third-person when it comes to video games, but I think this game is the first second-person game (you control a character who then controls something else in the game itself).
With Katamari Damacy, it was a low-cost sleeper title. I'd never heard of it but happened upon it when shopping for video games. It wasn't expensive (it was $20 at a time when PS2 games were going for around $35) so I decided to take a chance on it, and I'm glad I did for it was a terrific game.
But isnt socom also on psp? Ive seen them for download on psp i believe

Frig me I remember Airblade. On the demo disc that the PS2 came with, there was an Airblade level on there and I played it to death. I would LOVE a part 2 and even a 3 if there are really that many games. Your lists jog my memory of the games I used to have when I was younger but ended up selling on.
I decided to start collecting a couple years ago. I'm racking up quite a stash from PS1 all the way to the PS4. A couple hundred games across 6 consoles. A bunch of them are from your hidden gems and exclusives lists.
I'm still trying to recall which Dynasty Warriors games were the best in the series seeing as theres so many now.

They are great, not perfect, but definitely great.
I bought RAD way back when. Ordered online used from gamestop. Got it, opened the case and it was the demo disc. Called them up. They said to keep it and they would send me another. A month later I got it. Really fun game and I still have it.

I have to somewhat disagree with Guilty Gear X2. It was released on Arcade first, however all the extras (Survival, Story, etc...) yes those were added on console.
Also, who was the 6th character? I can only think of 5. (I-No, Slayer, Zappa, Bridget & Robo-Ky)
X2 is also on PC.
X2 was also released on the orginal xbox.
A game only released on one console is considered a console exclusive
Guilty gear X2 had so many updated versions, so please don't mix them up
