Yep Ben's definitely a Swiftie. ♥️😎
Wow I haven’t seen Ben in forever holy cow. Lookin good man.
Honestly every single person has the potential to become a swiftie and eventually will, it’s all about finding the right introduction to her music then they become fascinated and go backwards through discography and realize she’s always been a genius.
I don’t know what is that thing about Taylor Swift’s songs that are so calming and reassuring in stressful times. I send off my youngest to study abroad and admits the stress of packing and repacking …her songs kept us calm, and focused. The “all to well 10
min version” is perfect for
Keeping your
Cool while trapped in Traffic jams …
@@teresitavelderrain7139 that is awesome, especially that last couple of minutes from ATW(10 min) has such a calming effect.
Same with K-pop. My daughter introduced me in 2020 because all the country’s issues were grating my nerves. Now I’m all in with K-pop. Next up, 21 Pilots then Taylor Swift!
Laughing out loud no
i love this comment, it's so accurate
Ben Stiller MUST do The Colbert Questionert. I really would love to see that. Stephen’s channel tends to ‘spring them’ on us a couple of days later❤️
💯❤️
Taylor Swift has that power to turn people into Swifties. I can say I became one & don't regret it, she's a brilliant artist 💞🎶
Nope. She doesn't
@Sakinah A. She's one of the most prolific lyricist in this era. The other one might be Ed Sheeran.
Taylor Swift has the power of making people run away when they listen to her music.
Taylor is amazing. Best artist since John Lennon
When Stephen said Rome, I felt it! The most terrified I have ever been was as a passenger in an Italian friend’s car driving around Rome on a rainy night. She smoked, talked with her hands, and hardly glanced at the road- while cars came at us from all sides. Lanes either do not exist, or are merely vague suggestions. It was insane.
Cars spring out of side streets are speeds approaching light, pedestrians need to have springs in their heels.
Sounds like drivers in Seoul!!!!!
That's like all over Asia too. Hahaha
@@utubefreshie So true. The last taxi ride I took in Taiwan was scarier than rollercoasters at Six Flags.
@@celiashen5490 Ikr! 😂 I'm from the Philippines and Manila is a mess for driving. And I hear India is the same. Pretty sure many major cities in Asia are a hot mess for driving. Haha
Ben stiller is a legend. His dad is a legend. Tropic thunder was epic. Something about Mary, heavy weights (never let anyone sign your checks!), meet the parents, dodge ball, and on and on.
What was his dad in? Didn't know his pops was of any recognition.
Back in the early 90's he had a great show called the ben stiller show which was probably the best comedy show ever
@@tobiramasenju6290 His old man played George Costanza's dad on Seinfeld.
@@tobiramasenju6290 his mom & dad were both famous. They did comedy, were in movies (often in his movies) and in TV sitcoms.
@@MsWarriordiva im replying specifically to you but thank you all for filling me in!
Taylor Swift rocks ♥️
How can you not become a swiftie with the story telling and impeccable song writing that she provides?
Ben Stiller...great guy all the way around.
Severance is SO SO good!!! The day I had only the last episode left to watch, all day I couldn't stop thinking about it. I don't think that has ever happened to me with any other show.
ben stiller is part of the squad now
Ben, thank you so much serving the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission on Refugees) and publicizing their work.
As someone who has been working for the past 20 years on issues related to refugees and internally displaced persons, it is so important that people who are prominent use their position to shed light on the very difficult issues that people who are displaced by conflict face.
Thanks for being a mensch! Your parents are surely proud of you...
This comment is underrated. Thank you for sharing ✌🏼
I love Ben Stiller! ❤️☺️
Stiller’s voice still sounds like he’s eighteen! WTF? Only the grey hair keeps him from looking like a kid! Damn.
for sure he’s had fillers and Botox but whoever he uses is really good at it. Unlike Tom cruises injector person
i hear it's all that baby blood.
...
😁
@@thunderousapplause, I’m not so sure he’s had fillers/Botox.
Trying to picture Jerry Stiller giving driving lessons There's a Seinfeld episode.
Did he demonstrate how to stop short?
This guy should be a male model. He is really really ridiculously good looking.
Chiseled face and hair 20 year olds want/ Zoolander baby💫
Yep, a handsome Silver fox 😊
"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood. NOBODY!"
Freaking insane that I saw both Ben Stiller and Stephen Colbert in consecutive days at San Diego Comic Con. One day was for Stiller at the Severance panel and the next day Colbert was hosting The Rings of Power panel in Hall H.
Why was it insane. ?
It would have been _insane_ if you had incidentally met them in consecutive days while walking on the street. But seeing them on a convention while you knew they would be there is definitely not 'insane.'

Yes mate.
Lol.
I was in a popular ski town and had to drop my cousins off as they wanted to shop at a store. I actually enjoy parallel parking and have always done the "mirror to mirror, then mirror to bumper" trick (or version) of it. In this case, I found a nice spot, and in one swoop, parked right in there, and when we got out, the entire sidewalk applauded me, and several people said that was the best parallel parking job they'd ever seen. I mean, I was so proud lmao I remember it to this day
My first car was a fantastic one for parallel parking. I didn't understand how some found parallel parking difficult. Back then I could also swoop into and out of spaces, but not anymore. Unfortunately the cars I've had since then have *not been easy to park with! 😂
@@ixchelssong I didn't expect my comment to find traction haha.
I was an amazing parallel parker when I lived in Chicago, as a poor law student without a garage or assigned spot. I also became a skilled at what I called, "A Taking," which was, ie, on the Kennedy, 5 lanes, getting over to the outside moving lanes, until 5 exits later, moving back, without causing anyone road rage, sometimes intentionally not using my blinker, situational aware of my options, and what was necessary to get to class on time time....and it always entailed, A Taking (of position and a lane)....so...learning to drive in a big city certainly prepares you for much of anything u might encounter in that respect. Ben needs to take her to an empty parking lot or similar in winter though, to spin out and learn when to turn the wheel the opposite direction on ice...which is truly the ultimate to learn when you live in a multi-season environment....AND a right of passage when you're a young Michigander.
@@EmpyreanLightASMR hahaha! Clever!
decided to watch severance after this interview and it’s now my fav show of the year!!!!
My favs are The Man and No Body No Crime. But my first daughter learned to drive to The Offspring and my second Ed Sheeran. I preferred the former.
Go big daddy... how lucky is that girl??!!!!
ben has always been the goodwill ambassador, classic
Oh, it wasnice surprise...thank you for talking about Ukraine, for the support to all US people from all Ukrainians! Greetings!
I enjoyed watching his parents on TV when I was little.
Yes, I always wanted to be the tall blonde straight woman married to the short dark funny man.
Ben looks fantastic!!!
OKAYYYYY!!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Come through triangle knowledge... swiftie things!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love Taylor Swift, she is my favorite singer of all time and the best entertainer ever.
I took driver's ed at 15 and got my license at 16. It was easier then, then it is now.
Thank you Ben for meeting with President Zelenskyy in Ukraine, he is a hero and an amazing leader for our time. I stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦 💯.
Great interview Stephen. I absolutely adore Ben Stiller; as I did his parents, their love and marriage was an inspiration.
"Best entertainer ever"
When you grow up, you will laugh at that silly comment.
Joe Walsh....OMG!! Love, LOVE, Love him.❤❤ What a talent!! Oh well, I LOVE Ben Stiller, ❤❤too!! He's such a gentleman. So VERY polite.❤❤
Ben I am so jealous! Zelinsky totally rocks!
Smile.. thanks 🤭🤭
Drove two hours each way to my daughter's dance recital listening to the 1989 CD with her and now I love it! That and Bridgit Mendler's CD. My God, what have I become?! 😩
A good parent!
Could be worse.
Omg good luck Charlie I FORGOT ABOUT HER LOL
At 20 years, I was driving myself to the strip club. To make the money to pay my own rent, bills, and to take care of my daughter. I think all the time how my life might have been different had I been allowed to stay in a safe home environment w parents who actually cared rather than in a place I felt the need to leave
All the hugs, praise and credit to you dear. Well done, and I’m sorry you had to go thought that.
Keep going and hope things go well for you and your daughter.
I was on my own at 19. It forced me to become fiercely independent and self-sufficient. You were responsible and took care of your daughter. I'd bet it made you a great mom.
Bless you for that kind comment. Thank you!! Oh my goodness- I’m not expecting the kind words at all from this post. Thank you all so much
Blessings and love. My Creator help us on this journey
I'd have a word with the band for using "the thrill is gone" as my intro music.
I thought that was very strange, as well.
Some underlying meaning? Inside joke?
It’s a great tune.
I love that song, but that was my immediate thought as well lmao
Stephen Colbert ben Stiller became swifties meet the parents awesomeness job interview
Jerry Stiller instructing driving is a great sit com concept
I stop short!!!
In my mind, I'm hearing him scream at "George" the entire time.....
Still gorgeous ❤️💐👏🏼
A Zaddy for sure
I know comedians and comic actors are just normal people when not working, but I have to believe Jerry teaching Ben to drive was hilarious.
🤘🧙♂️🤘
love you dude since ever,, 🙏❤😎✌👍
lmao now i’m definitely watching severance!
loved it🥳
Asking for a friend..has Ben Stiller ever played Michael Cohen on SNL? ....and if not, why not!? Time's a ticking!!
He did & was brilliant as expected.

OMG I AM SO HAPPY TO BE WATCHING THIS 😂😂
I would love to see the Swiftie guests get into some sort of Swift-off for a coveted title or smthng

Love that guy! 🤙
Oh please “There’s Something about Mary” is the most f.c.k.ing hilarious film ever!!!!
Off topic: Just heard about Ashton Kutcher's neurological nightmare. It would be great for you to have him and Mila on to talk about how they communicated and parented during the crisis and recovery. They are so cool and normal, and not a whimper. (Because Stephen actually reads his comments on youtube 🤣)

Correction to Mr. Stillar’s comment: Largest number of displaced people since WWII was (and still is) from Syria. We’ve known this for some time, yet unfortunately it’s not something the American media cares much about.
It’s not a competition. What’s happening in Ukraine is horrible. Just giving equal weight to another very recent and devastating humanitarian tragedy.
As another Syrian (2nd generation born here), thank you.
Well said
Don't take this the wrong way, what happened in Syria is a tragedy in its entirety... but to sit here and say it was worse then Ukraine isn't right. Yes if you look at the numbers, it was about 13 million syrian refugees in the span of the 11 year war. Ukraine has lost 12 million so far in like 8 months and is still rising.
Tragedies aren't meant to be compared, it's not something I particularly like doing as I see every life having equal value in this world. Weather the loss of life, the loss of one's home and country or the loss of one's family, it is all terrible and heartbreaking, no matter the number of people suffering.
Both Ukraine and Syria have had an extremely hard past, its not fair to sit here and say who is worse then who. ALL tragedies need to be remembered and stop being compared
@@xKhfan213x I wonder if you read the rest of my comment when you wrote this. I clearly said it’s not a competition and that what’s happening in Ukraine is tragic. I’m just shedding light at another, now mostly forgotten, humanitarian tragedy that’s still unfolding.
Also, nothing wrong with correcting misinformation, even when it’s unintentional. I know Mr. Stillar’s heart is in the right place, but the facts are worth knowing nonetheless.
Miss Jerry Stiller buddy. Tropic thunder is a whooping good time
Ben Stiller is looking very handsome as he ages.
Thanks
Swifty 😄💕👍
😂 Ben! I stan Zoolander! I’m also a Swifty 🎉💜🦋
Omg. Joe Walsh!!!
And John for president!!!
6:03. I’m still laughing. 😂
Lol driving in Rome is no joke!
Yep I wouldn’t want to drive there on any road, they’re crazy drivers & some roads have no lines either & 3-4 lines but the cars are small! And those scooters 🛴
ben's the best ... like the 'everyman' of the gex x gen ... he's our dude
He's graying well. Miss him in movies though. At least he's a good director.
We need Meet The Grandparents.
Severance was great !
Is it just me, or is Ben Stiller looking even better with age? I wish that would happen to me, but sadly it's not the case. Lol
I was just going to say that LOL. He looks great
@@jaimereynolds258 , right!

John Stewart for President!!
He knows the lore!
Connecticut didn't have parallel parking in the test. 🙈🤣
Ben Stiller, D'Arcy Carden. What a twofer!
It's amazing that Walsh is still alive.
in the 80s I dated a man who had been in the band Firefall. He was a former heroin user and a sous chef the restaurant where I worked. He had Joe Walsh stories for days. Can’t believe he’s still alive eithet.
🙌
Wonderful, so happy to see Joe Walsh !
was waiting for the blue steel
Stephen Colbert has a Stellar band.

Stiller/Walsh '24: Amerilander I. And be careful with all that free gas!
Glad to see it's not just my daughter who's delayed learning to drive. My daughter will be 18 soon, and still doesn't want to learn.
Stephen Stills and Ben Stiller would be the Stilliest ticket or the presidential race
Can you imagine Jerry Stiller teaching you to drive? Stop short!
❤
Yup. Shit that's real... hurts. Thank you.
I'm going to have a wee cry now...
Other countries have drones. Really really good ones.
so i finally made it on the show this year and i gotta tell you get in line early...if you get stuck on the end of the balcony like me you never get to be seen on tv :(
I learn to parallel park the night before my test. I was very lucky that my dad was a truck driver.
What thrill..
He’s kinda a silver fox now. 😳
Guess what Steve. Maryland got RID of the parallel parking for the test!!!😳
Tropic Thunder -the sequel
fun fact: Floridian here & parallel parking is NOT a requirement for our driving tests (and hasn't been for ~25 years). because obviously someone decided Florida man had no chance or they hoped we'd focus on other skills (we didn't)
I googled it and according to US today, FL is 1 of 15 states whose state driving tests don't include parallel parking (CA, OH, IL, WY, SD, MA, and 8 more also don't)
Fun fact… In Rhode island you are NOT tested on parallel parking which if you’ve ever been therreeeee… explains a lot
Oh the parallel parking.
’All cars park themselves right?’ Oops. :)
Meet The Parents FTW.
I bet he and Zekensky were awesome. 💙
