This seemed to be working for my CDJ-2000 too, working fine now for 10 mins... haha .. But you don't have to remove the metall bracket. You can easely have access to the cable without removing the bracket. Took me 2 mins from opening to closing. Thnx man. Good work!!
Thanks a ton! Saved my CDJ-2000. Hopefully the fix will last long. As Sergeant de manager said, you don't have to remove the metal bracket. It's a tiny bit harder to put the ZIF back but you can do it perfectly without. For those who don't know a ZIF cable works, see this video: ua-cam.com/video/TwhK54inwhU/v-deo.html

I have cdj nexus 2000 my jog wheel was sticky so I followed a tutorial fixed the problem then reassembled the unit. My problem is when powered on all buttons are active but in the middle of jog wheel there is no vinyl or cdj or illumination at all and when I choose a track my cue and play button flashes but I can't play a track, I have obv damaged something when trying to fix jog wheel plz help!!!

my screen at first time went "down" with those "freeze dots" all over the display...after the "upgrade", somehow it worked for a while and after some gigs, happened the same situation but now display went totally "black". After the "repairment", as shown in this youtube video clip, display works again. How long is going to work, We'll see! It seems like a serious Pio bug over the 2000's; my old 1000mk3 still works fine without any issues! And yes, my T1210's! :-) thanks
those modern cdjs are crap ....instead of old cdjs like 200 and 350 i mean its not pro players but back in the days they also be a pro players with much better quality of manufacturing
I got up to the part with the earthing wire and ribbon cable on the right side and it’s literally impossible to unscrew the earthing cable not to mention the ribbon cable is underneath the metal bracket so unhooking it alone is a challenge but hooking it BACK is fucking impossible. At least with the tools I have atm but still it’s like performing surgery but way more frustrating because of these dumb ribbon cables that have insane connections in impossible to reach placements This is why I hate technology 😂

Turning brightens down from highest to lowest setting gave me quick fix.
