Just to give you a heads up a ton of the Gameplay footage is actually from the Beta (demo) thousands got to play out at Massive Studios while the game was still being made and Massive were working alongside the testers actually taking notes so a lot of things have actually changed it’s also why Massive will only let them show either cutscenes we’ve already seen or their gameplay of the demo but no actual new footage so to speak.
what sets it apart from far cry games amoung many other things is the level of freedoom of movement the parkor you can do in the enviroment is amazing and smooth you can see youre whole body if you look down, and the combat is so much better they hit hard and move about and have some decent AI (exept from a long distance) i did not think my rig could handle it but its running well in 1440p with most of the settings on high and its stunning to look at, i did not expect this level of detail and fedelity for a long time but here its is in all its glory which just goes to show it can be done, lets hope other developers follow suit and stop putting out unfinished games.
Some info is wrong. Avatar frontiers of Pandora isn't a stand-alone story it takes place between films 1 and 2. It is to be considered cannon to the Avatar story because ubisoft and massive worked closely with the directors and producers of Avatar and another entity and were not allowed to put any asset or model into the game without their expressed support and permission and they have apparently been working on this for YEAR'S 3 alone on just the sounds and effects traveling to different countries and locations just to record them.
I don't think you understand what a stand alone story means, It has nothing to do with it being considered cannon or not. It can be cannon and still be a stand alone story. I think he even uses the term wrong in this video but what i believe he means is that it's a completely original story set in the world of avatar, which it is.
"Yolo" is actually not all that wrong with that comment. I've watched a few other UA-camr's who were invited, and one stated that almost everyone else invited was a tick-tock influencer. It was something like 85-95% were tick-tocker's
I’ve never played any Ubisoft games, but I’m personally really excited for this game. It looks great visually, expands the world of avatar, and I can play it with my friend (they have pc and I have ps5 so it rare that we play games together). I do kind of wish they had the option of choosing pov, as I feel it’s better to have the option than none, but maybe they’ll update it depending on how people react, who knows.
If you segmented and labeled all the passing locations of your videos, you would get more views, likes, subscribers, followers, supporters, and sponsors.
Massive Ent is an amazing studio(since 2016 lol) and is the only hope I've been hanging onto. I think the gun play that feels off might be due to you being twice the size of a human making if feel a bit different. Plus the majority of their experience in gun play is The Division series which is 3rd person most of the time so hopefully they figured out the first person aspect. Either way, if it can run at native 4k and be over 60fps ill be happy lol, have not had the best year for performance with all these "nex...THIS gen" games at launch. I hate that phrase, its been used for 3 years meaning 2 years ago it turned into "this" smh
This game looks pretty. I'm guessing this game's average review will be anywhere from a 4/10 to a 7/10. I can't imagine it reviewing anywhere outside of that range
playtester usually are uneducated people getting to play games early but dont understand how game design works. Sorry but not sorry to say its like asking a dog how does he feel the construction of a sky scraper foundation building is going?
Play testers tell you everything you need to know because your goal is to sell the game to normal people and idiots as you call them if they don’t enjoy it it’s going to be a failure
Don’t get not get it cause it’s not third person especially if you think it looks awesome, it’s wayyyy better than 3rd imo 3rd shouldn’t be touched in this game and glad it isn’t it would just ruin so much… it is supposed to be immersive
Sorry to inform you they won’t be changing it to 3rd person or adding more 3rd person because it’s all about the experience, feel like you’re living one of the movies and for a higher immersion. First person was decided unanimously between everyone right from the start.
If the fact that its in 1st person is detering you from getting the game entirely is incredibly sad. You were probably not too keen on getting it in the first place then.
