Sometimes it is safer to not stop but you should be aware that the lights may change so slow down enough to be able to stop if the lights go red.
No, just stop when you see Yellow, that’s a 35 mph lane, he should have more than enough time to stop, he was like 10 car lengths away when it turned yellow

In my state we have a 0.5 second mercy rule where if you can prove you ran it within 0.5 seconds it is considered fair and you aren't charged. That being said you need video to prove that and it most likely won't be 0.5 seconds. ( the law says you need to " enter" the intersection before 0.5 seconds of the light turning read with both rear tires in the intersection and pasted the crosswalk or divider line )
@UA-cam_is_complete-total_shit I used to ride a motorbike and it is more difficult to stop quickly sometimes. For instance if you are going 30mph and the light changes 30 feet in front of you and there is a metal drain cover in your path and you try to stop you will slide whatever wheel is touching the drain cover. I think in a situation like that it is probably safer to go through the changing traffic light. Pedestrian crossings have a time delay between the traffic light turning red and the indicator for Pedestrian to walk across the road. I'm not saying you should be going through red lights on purpose by the way. What would you do if you came to a traffic light on the road and it is red but nobody is waiting to cross the road or even anywhere near it. Would you go through or wait for it to go green.

theres at least 2 seconds between reds and greens... it's not like the millisecond the light turns red on the other side urs is green.. this was a petty stop by the cop.. court would be in the drivers favor. That car was passed the white line when the light turned red . Thats why the cop hesitated to pull them over right away . The rest was ego “ and he can get away with it as long as they can’t prove his actions 60% of you and i pay the government money over an opinion not actual facts and the laws.
I'm pretty sure the car has to be halfway through the intersection by the time it turns red. Could vary by state tho
Man I was just hoping to see a sheriff go after this as-shole who went thru a red light couple hrs ago. Always check both ways no matter what color the light is. It's that simple.

People do that all the time. Theyre always in a hurry and cant stand sitting at a red light. Their time is too important.
He was on the line as the light turned red. pretty sure you have to be in the intersection already to not have run a red light in this situation.

It looks like he made it out there on yellow & it turned red when he was in the middle if thats the case then he didnt red the light cause it was still yellow but its hard to tell from the cammer position cause he was a ways back
