- Watch before going to Jerome Arizona.
I had fun on this beautiful day trip with my daughter to Jerome Arizona and decided to put together this video showing you some highlights of the trip and giving you some advice that you can use prior to going to make your trip to Jerome, Arizona much more enjoyable. - Авто та транспорт
You remind me of me and my daughter, we've been going on vacations together since she was a baby, precious moments, Enjoy them and don't ever stop😊
It's a beautiful thing. Our bond is strong. We're planing another one this coming week.
Thank you.
If traveling from phoenix to Jerome. Head toward wickenberg, one must stop and drink from the Hassayampa well and get your liars license. Then continue west to congress junction (89A). Go over iron spar road to Prescott. Head north from Prescott on 89. Turn right on 89A go over Mingus mountain and down to Jerome. Awesome scenery and a fun day
I drove from LA to a friends house in Tucson. He brought me to Jerome and Tubac and Tombstone. It was a few days of cruising and I loved it! Great for your sweet daughter to travel with Dad, making good memories! Cruise cool!
Wow! That's a lot of driving you guys did. You should come down in the summer and ask your friend to take you to the different lakes and water falls we have.
Father and daughter time (Beautiful)
I go to Jerome everytime I'm in Arizona. Its one of my favorite places to stay, especially at the Jerome Grand Hotel. I'm headed back in June for a week.
What do you do there for a whole week? Do you have friends and family there?
@@jackofalltrades12 We don't stay in Jerome for a week. Usually go for a day or two and then head to Sedona & Flagstaff.
Went to Jerome last year for the first time. I was really scared as I have a fear of heights! We have a small car, but it was a Saturday and traffic was horrible. But there are bars on every corner, so it got better and better.😊😊😊
Yeah, it's a pretty cool place to visit. People say they like to go up there for the wine tasting, but I didn't really see more than a couple of wine places. Did you try any of the wine?
Thanks for the preview of Jerome! Appreciate it!!!
Jerrome is wonderful place to visit but try it out of Perkinsville off the 89a and take the dirt route in its interesting it comes in on the back side of Jerome. take care and have a wonderful day
Thank you and I will definitely try it next time.
The tree with the berries on it is called Mulberry and if you already had one prior to 1986 you where grandfathered in after that date it is illegal to buy and plant one due to the hi pollen count it puts out but you can plant a fruitless Mulberry and it is totally legal here in Az. My neighbor bought one in New Mexico and when she got to the check point they asked her if it was a male or female she said it was a female so it was confiscated and she lost her tree and the $$ she spent on it.
Had she known i told her she could of said male and she would of been ok
Oh wow! I definitely did not know that. That's terrible. Now it makes sense why I haven't been able to find one here. New Mexico here we come...lol. Only the government would put restrictions on plants. Oh well. Thanks for the information.
@jackofalltrades3995 I guess you don't know or care about the harm nonindiginous organisms can do to an ecosystem. Look at the bark beetle, lion fish, guagga muscles etc.
Those have had devastating effects on our natural resources.
Jerome is a beautiful place used to go there when i was a child growing up in scottsdale
Spent the night in summer of 72 to visit ex girlfriend who I wasn’t over. Got there during sunset in august …… wow …..it’s still a visual memory I will never forget
@00:38 - Should be Highway 89A?
I believe that the Berry's are Mulberries from the Mulberry tree. 😊
Did you mean 89A?
Ha...I can't believe I never noticed that myself. Yes, 89A is correct. Thank you.
Jerome is beautiful. I was lucky enough to visit it some years ago. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly.
You're right. It is beautiful. I also got a chance to speak with some of the locals.
This is how Americans used to travel. Before interstates.
"They powered the mine with coke" I wonder what was going through his mind 😂
Really? Wow, I wonder how that worked.
That's NOT the 87. The road between Clarkdale and Prescott Valley is the 89A.
You're absolutely right.
Jerome is actually sliding down three quarters of an inch every year…. There are mines beneath the entire city….
That was a projector!!
Mulbery Trees
1:08 There is no highway 87 A in Arizona.
You're absolutely right.
That's not a camera, but a projector
Be aware I-17 doesn't go all the way to Jerome
Being an Arizonian I highly suggest that overweight, elderly or have any medical condition, stay out of Jerome.....It is very steep walking and you would not be fit to visit it so stay home.
I’m pushing 80 and nobody will keep me out of Jerome. That’s where you firm up!
You must be a Jerome resident. 😂
@@calgal5752 I peddled watermelons through Jerome in the 50s’ there were only about 100 people living there at that time and almost saw no one walking about. I use to know father John at the Catholic Church. I almost bought his old green dodge from him. Yea, I knew him.
@@mdjones905 It looks like an interesting place
I just have to ask did anything supernatural happen to you there ? Or when you got home?
Nothing at all. I should've asked some of the locals if anything strange ever happens there.
That's good because every time I go there some very oddball stuff happens to me.
@@douglaswetherbee7067 What kind of stuff?
When I got home the next day I was in my bedroom a black cloud or fog? Floated right in next to me, another time I was in Jerome the day before Halloween on the boardwalk a woman in a black dress brushed against me ,I turned around and no one was there that was in the evening
@@douglaswetherbee7067 Really? I wonder how many people out there have experienced similar things?
That was a projector in front of the theater. Jerome has the largest Halloween celebration in the nation. Thats because the hole town is haunted. See the Jerome hotel aka the old hospital
Thanks for the info. Now it makes me want to go back on Halloween.
89a
Jerome looks a lot different than when I was there 15 years ago - people moving in and modernizing buildings to live in; what a shame they are destroying the old town look.
A lot of changes have been happening to many parts of Arizona. Some good..some bad.
you need a better cameraman
My 8-year-old daughter did her best.
Looks like the spooks don’t want happiness…….🤔
Expensive gas prices? $3.09. Now it's nearly $6.00. Thanks Biden.
And it's going up, Bidenomics!!!
Don't just blame him...that's ignorant.
