Those Rough Country seat covers don't even look like seat covers. They're some of the best fitting seat covers I've ever seen.

You said you don’t like the synthetic rope (IDKW) It’s far safer to use then wire cable. It’s also equally as strong. It’s lighter weight and easier to handle then wire cable. Cable could snap back and injure or kill someone. Synthetic rope won’t sling back and injure or kill someone like a wire cable would. The rollers that came with your winch are designed to be used with wire cable and synthetic rope. What you replaced the rollers with is only to be used with synthetic rope. Not wire cable. That is why the winch came with the rollers specifically.

Sorry Motorhead but the winch rollers and designed for the wire cable so you don’t fry the cable using the plate you’ll end up with sharp pizza wire sticking out of your cable I know I made the same mistake once before

I have so much love for this Jeep. The look is aggressive and the winch finishes it off nicely, honestly, any mods/changes at this point is just your own personal preference. One of my most favorite builds so far. Excellent work! :-)

If you seriously want to use a winch, snatchblocks and snatch ropes are the key. We use snatchblocks when we go mudding and they work great. But if you aren't going to use it ever, then leave it. We run a 2 winch setup on our truck. Front bumper and in the bed. If you go hard-core outdoors ever, look into that set up. We've also used the winch lines anchored parallel to hang hammocks on for camping. And of course hunting. A good skinning rig in the woods can be made with a winch.

Yes I think you made a mistake those rollers stop The cable from binding during a recovery. With off road form is secondary to function.
The winch and the black exhaust really completes the Jeep guys! Leave the winch as it is, looks much better. Time to enjoy it now. Love the Rough Country mods!

Starting a suzuki samurai build stock motor fresh, side carb. turbo be doing my own exo skell. roll bar bumpers in and out brand new. Bad ass rigs for sure!

I got a cast iron fairlead for my winch cable it wasn’t much and is designed for steel cable

That fairlead if 4 synthetic cable, read the packaging
If that fairhead you have if it will fit on the inside of the bumper those rollers are to keep the cable from getting cut

Remove all the badland stickers and/or make them black for a stealthier look? The RC front bumper is all about stealth with the angled look. Can't you blue that things on the bumper or would it wear off as quickly as paint?
Change out the rear Diff cover. Cheap upgrade, but speak volumes to the looks..
get the rubber or plastic D ring inserts so you don't hear the D rings hitting the bumpers

Can't use the guide you got with a cable. The guide is for a synthetic rope. You have to use the roller guide with this winch.

@@fckurcouch nobody does until the cable snaps after binding too many times... at that moment (cable snaps), unlike the rope, the cable doesn't stop for nothing... enough tow-workers that had heavy injuries thanks to that (some even worse)
