This definitely doesn't apply to put who grow up here because never in my life I felt afraid to be outside in college park, east point or any where on the south side 😂
I remember driving through 75 in Atlanta and the traffic came to a near stop from a major fight between construction workers, yes this happened, they were beating the crap of each other.
I am in these neighborhoods a few times a week renting out properties. Just make sure you don't get caught in one of these areas at night. Most are very safe during the day and all the crime starts at dusk. I've never had anything happen to me personally in the daytime
Mechanicsville, Pittsburgh and South Central atl like Cleveland Ave, Pryor st, Campbellton rd., Bankhead mlk n the bluffs are the worst. West end is rough too
Your content is interesting. I used to live in Inman park right by the Marta station, spent time in the west end and east Atlanta. And the area right by the airport I saw roy Ayer’s live (back in the nineties)
I have to say bro, you nailed it! I am a land surveyor in Atlanta, so I have to work in these areas on the daily…all of my employees carry 9mm…company policy…
I was in vine city on Monday doing a boundary for a 50’x100’ lot and ended up locating a whole block due to zero monumentation (big surprise). Got a lotta “hey you got $2 or a cigarette” questions.
Agree, you spend So much time Responding to those who disagree, Instead of Getting On with the Video. Yes, metro Atlanta, near and far, south and north, Buckhead Too…has crime Ridden areas and Hoods, be Safe, be Careful…
Zone 5 represent! Lol I love your honesty cause erbody wants to be the worst and the best actin like all serious when anyone says anything. I searched for the worst hoods here back in the 90s, where University Avenue won the prize.
@@cpjohnson950 I grew up right next to East Lake Meadows and I never felt unsafe but then again I never felt like I was poor either as a kid until I got grown and realize that that's just what I was. Again when you were a kid you don't realize you're living in the middle of a crime infested area you may not realize how poor you are either but it doesn't stop it from being the reality.

I’m from the A and I grew up in one of the worst hoods In Atlanta Etheridge Courts true zone 1 west side Atlanta has a lot of dangerous neighborhoods the city of finesse ,scammers, and murder it’s nothing to be proud of just have to be careful on all sides from zone 1-6 but this guy is 85% right but it’s way more hoods he didn’t mention that are worst
Native Atlantan here. I've lived in Boulevard Hgts, then Grant Park, now Summerhill. It's a lot better in these areas than it was 30 years ago, but a lot of improvements could still be made. Sometimes I'll hear distant gunfire at night.
You are right, just be truthful. Thank you for your video to let us know which part of Atlanta is dangerous, cause I am not familiar with America, I am foreigner.
Awesome review of a city I've resided in/nearby of for the last 15 years. Like with any major metropolitan area, it comes with troubles . One of the best things you can do for yourself as a traveler is understand where you are and make sense of your surroundings. ANY metropolitan area in ANY country will be the most dangerous for tourists. Dont be naive, dont be quick to judgement, and you'll be aight.
This video was totally awesome! I live in Upstate South Carolina and have been to Atlanta Georgia plenty of times. In my opinion, Charlotte NC felt safer than Atlanta Georgia. But as far as major US cities go in terms of safety, that I've personally been to, NYC and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania have felt safer to me. Even here in Spartanburg SC, we have spots that I can say I wouldn't get caught dead in. NYC and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania are two are the safest cities in the USA that I've been to.
Def.does not look like a lace I want to live ,but not getting out of visiting Stone mountain lake and Park and looking forward to fishing ; curious what you got to say about it
Being a person that was born and raised in the "A". I'm a Vet, lived from the east coast to the west coast.. but i have made so much money in the Atlanta area than anywhere else. Evey place has its not so good parts. Maybe im a little partial, but man i love Atlanta
He not lying about Bankhead. I had my days of doing bad just about everywhere he just about name. I’m not proud of it nor I’m not proud of the gentrification but I do love the change and some of the better days coming for Atlanta. I just wish I can afford it
You know, I live in Plainfield, New Jersey. It's a Small City, so we can't compare it to Atlanta. There are some rough and grimy areas. You have to be careful wherever you go!
I’m from Atlanta. This dude just did a bunch of talking and trying to make fun of the people in my city. Noticed he never got out side the comfort of his car. Dude is a clown.
I have lived in Atlanta for over 40 years. You aren't far off. If you are from here you know where NOT to go. Gwinnett county to the east is gangland , especially in Norcross and the surrounding areas. South and west Atlanta are No go zone. Every place around the airport are hell.
Atlanta has gotten much better over time. Southside of Atlanta has plenty of great neighborhoods. Peoplestown, Grant Park, Summerhill, Chosewood. Super nice places to live. West side is bad, West End is okay, plenty of nice houses but not nice people
Your video has been some help and I'm planning a trip to Atlanta in july. Is there a way to contact you on some more info about these places. I'm looking into a rental and some of them are kind of close to these areas
I lived in Atlanta from 2005 - 2015. Alden Ridge apartments behind Strokers in Clarkston. Brownsmill Rd, Roswell Rd, Flat Sholes Rd, Kimball Bridge Rd, Lanier Blvd and by Stonecrest mall area.
I live in kennesaw its north east atlanta. The houses here and on most of the north side are 500k to 2.5 million. The bad areas he listed the houses are from 120k to 300k the price difference in houses clearly says how dangerous the area is.
I've lived in ATL most my life. The Bluff is the worst (ask me how I know). Bankhead used to be, but they're starting to clean up. I must say, I saw the most crazy shit go down in the Stonewall Street Projects in Cartersville (like an hour north of the city). College Park is where I have worked for the last decade.
You have to know where you’re going or you could end up in a bad area real quick. I go there for work sometimes and I don’t care for the traffic. Best just stay on the north side
As a Grady baby born and raised here 33years these are the only parts of Atlanta and everything you said Is true I was born in adamsville zone 4 area but raised in zone 3 and have seen and dealt with a lot of bad things in every zone but people just don't understand that we really have to make our own way around here jobs ain't paying enough so we turn to the streets for financial stability while still working that job
I love when people start Territorially Pissing and Reppin Their Hood daring anybody to say something bad about it.
