Seeing Danny in his name sake Corn reminds me how much I miss my Daddy and his generation and their input, so grateful for gardeners like Danny with old ways experience and new ways, then shows us what does and doesn't work with the stranger weather we all are getting. David the Good by the way was grateful y'all for his Danny corn he mentioned y'all and I knew it was the "Danny" corn before said it. :) Just realized YT suggested a month old video to me, but I am glad now I can go to a check up on how you all made out.

Garden tour videos are my favorite. I know they don't get as many views but there is so much to learn. Thank you both for taking the time. These videos are never long enough in my opinion. Looking at what y'all have, what a testimony to what two people, who apply themselves, can do to create a self sustaining lifestyle. I am quite happy where my progression is in my small farm, but it's nice to see where we can be if we apply ourselves. I have learned much from just watch y'all's channel. It's difficult admitting how little I do know sometimes, but with the help from y'all, and some others, I am able to learn at such a faster pace. Thank you.

I've been growing that type too and it was sold to me under the name Italian ribbed zucchini with the name "Costata Romanesco" in italics behind.
I love this zucchini. Even the baby squashes are huge! Lol.
We use a spirilzer and turn them into zu-sketti lol

I used to pick huckleberrys to add to my pancake batter. The heat brings out a flavor that is superior to blueberries in my opinion. But, I really have never liked blueberries at all, so I'm a little jaded. I made sure that each tiny berry was very soft so the juice would be released during cooking.

Black Wooly warms are a tale tale sign of Weather. The longer the black bands (less rusty color) indicates severe weather, really cold winter and a lot of snow. The wider the band would indicate a milder winter.

I'm just loving your Gardens Mister Danny and Miss Wanda! Love watching your Vlogs they're very educational and the content is spot-on. Thank you so much for the information concerning those borer beetle and squashes and the information you gave about doctor Earth's golden Bloom phosphorus! This year in Central Texas half of my cropped have been completely attacked and I've unfortunately had to pull half of my squashes. This year I'm growing crooked gooseneck, white pattypan squash, miniature butternut squashes which grow about 4 to 5 inches Max, Caserta squash, Jaharadad Squash, and Candy roaster squash. I have harvested quite a lot of caserta squash and a ton of Patty pan squash! Very blessed and very thankful for that Harvest. And the miniature butternut squash is now starting to produce quite a bit but those bugs are horrendous this year I've never had this issue as I have this year. They are leaving my cucumbers my cucumbers are looking great I have Yamato extra large cucumbers, Armenian cucumbers, and sour Mexican gherkins, I also have five varieties of melons and four varieties of beans at the moment along with a variety of herbs. But the squashes are taking a toll. I have a very small yard but I am doubling up on the gardens and making sure we have room in the freezer to stock it well. God bless and take care love from Texas. By the way Danny the zucchini you just picked up that you were sent I think it's a cocozelle zucchini!

When I saw you in that corn I was reminded of my cousin in north Mississippi who is now about 62 but when he was about 15 his father told him to plant 60 acres of corn. Well the old man went into town to work and my cousin proceeded into a neighboring small town and collected pot seeds from all his acquaintances and threw them in the hopper with the corn. This would have been about 1975.Well nature took its course and that was a lot of pot seeds. Now the old man had been farming all his life and knew every weed of the area and when he saw this new one it didn't take him long to figure out what it was and then figure out how it may have got there. All the sudden he had become a 60 acre pot grower and the sheriff had also got wind of what was there. LOL. Anyway they took care of it with little fanfare and the FBI didn't even get involved to make a nation wide mountain out of a molehill. There were certain advantages to living in a close knit community back then. That cousin recently retired from a career in truck driving.Heck by the time that kid that grew up on a farm got to be working age he had already been working his whole life and had a tremendous advantage. He had been driving trucks and tractors since he could reach the pedals .Thinkin of it made me laugh. Young men are alot like puppies you got to watch them! They might get in to some mischief. Older men know that and used to keep them too busy for much mischief but sometimes even that plan fails@!! LOL

Watched this on my grandson’s YTube channel on tv.
    I’m hooked❗️
FANTASTIC information in a good ole Southern style.
I’m from Ky, wel born there, raised in Ohio, but parents originated from there.
Went monthly my whole life to visit grandparents.
    It’s in my blood.
    Love the overall’s.
    We always called them
    Overhauls! 😂🤣

Those blueberries sure looks yummmeeee. Theres nothin better than pickin and eatin the fruit . Its a good thing the robins migrated back north. Or you wouldnt have any cherries. You gardens are beautiful. Ya sure can tell you work your tails off. Danny & Wanda may the Lord continued strength to keep those gardens growing and y'all staying healthy. Love ya y'all. I watch a few other homsteader's sites. Some with a bunch of kids who do farm chores. One in particular is always chaos, others calm and productive, but I must say your place is the cleanest, calmest and also very productive ones out there. Just you two work it from what I see.

It is, obviously, the individual attention you give to your plants and animals that prospers them so abundantly, and the pruning and culling are necessary parts of that attention.

You two have the greenest thumbs of anyone I have ever seen. I thought this year my garden was amazing but compared to you guys my garden is just way better than it was last year which was a big old flop. Oh, the good side mine is growing and I know I will be picking something this year which is better than my nothing last year. I have learned from you two which has helped me this year. Love you two.

To confirm about the bugs, they do got weak lungs like the snakes (snakes cant tolerate heavy odors or smoke). Add heavy odor ground coffee it works fine, but keep with the phosphoros since thats as heavy a man can tolerate before being slumped on the field.

I absolutely love looking at all the things you’re growing. I’m so envious of your blueberries last year. I got one single blueberry, but it was their first year so hopefully this year but my grandson got to eat my blueberry and he said it was the best tasting blueberry he ever had in his whole life.
