- OU’s 34-19 victory over Tulane was hard-earned but well-deserved. The Green Wave pushed the Sooners with a valiant second-half, and OU eventually responded. And there were enough positives to make Sooner Nation feel better about the showdown against Tennessee next week.
I Feel better than Jeff lebbys mississippi st. got beat down by toledo 41-17
Still not sold on Arnold's decision making. Getting the o line healthier will help. Better RB play. But as usual all starts up front. Defense hopefully can hold up until that happens.
Tulane on two occasions had two players running very much open down the field just couldn’t connect on them. Might have been a different game.???
Be very interesting this week with possible players coming back and no more vanilla as they say on offense and defense hopefully they can let it rip
Looked alot better than last week. I think in the second half we were playing not to lose on offense
Tulane’s not bad.
Yeah Berry, you picked Tulane to win. I picked OU 34-13.
OU now has failed to pass for 200 yards in 3 consecutive games. That’s the first time this has happened since 2014. Jackson’s best plays are when he runs.
This is not what we expected from this “5 star” Gatorade national player of the year passer.
I was at the game. He is either afraid to pass down field in the middle of the field or they think he doesn’t have the time. There were open guys. Or perhaps he doesn’t see the whole field. I dunno
That o-line is porous. he has to run. He will have to make those decisions to win games. We get some of those holes patched up and get at least a couple of those receivers back and this team looks alot different. That 4th Quarter looked alot like an awakening. We will see next week. Boomer Sooner!
@@1.21GWSooner I agree…. There were times he did not throw to the open receiver. I think he is hesitant to throw down field over the middle. But again…. I dunno
@@flyovernews22 I would say stressed more than hesitant. The game looked like it slowed down a bit for him in the 4th Quarter. I think he grew in dog years after he threw that pick.
@@1.21GWSooner i agree. Maybe his best pass was on 3rd down 15 yards down field and dropped by Burks. But yes… we will be tested next week. There is a phrase that every team uses. “Taking what they give us”. I hate that phrase. There is a reason they give short plays. Baker always said… take what they give us. After he threw it 25 yards down field. :)
WATCH VOLS SCORE 35 OR MORE POINTS NEXT SAT!
Tennessee’s or We, will score about the same score we did on North Carolina State. Oklahoma is a 15th ranked team for a reason.
tennessee will be a whole other story next week. watch out storms coming
Hell yeah thats what we wanted! No guts, no glory! Boomer Sooner, baby!!!
What we saw was OU potential and kicking Tennessee ass is what we are going to see next for Ou
😅😅😂
@@sorenspade6858 If OU defense keeps everything in front of them and gets pressure and sacks on Nico and OU wins the TO battle it should be an OU win. I really like OU's chance of winning on the home field. Get back to me if I'm WRONG
This Tulane team isn't a pushover. K-State had to do some things to beat this team! Are they the vols? No, but OU needed that game! Where the f**k has Mason Thomas been?!!! They unleashed that dude, yesterday! That defense got their second wind right when we needed it! Boomer Sooner!
Yall thought Francis dropped rain, hide and watch
We will see how much really suck
They got a long way to go. They are low mid pier team right now in the sec.
