I'm going to come off as Mr. Pile On, but I've never been impressed with Coach B, he constantly has missed with 5 star recruits. Would Oklahoma have gotten Fasusi without the NIL package?
This line is beat up, I'll give him that, and it was the Team's biggest question mark. He had the whole off season to add from the Portal. Normally Bill is a Master with the Portal.
Hawkins was the spark that OU can build off of, he places the ball where WR's can do the most damage.
JA was over and under throwing WR's. He needed to be pulled.
I think Josh pulled back on his old school.
    Defense and Crowd was Amazing!

    How did we get here?
For nearly 25 years, We constantly miss, somewhere at some aspect of the game.
If it’s not the qb, it’s the line, if it’s not the Oline, it’s the running backs, or the safety’s….
    It’s always something.
    How do we change it?

In the day and age of NIL, you have no f’in excuse!?!? The portal makes it easier. Money makes it easier than ever to buy a championship. When the AD gets serious about championships IN FOOTBALL yields a hella lot more than softdamn ball!!
The fact we can’t take the field after 3 years preparing for this moment, with a o line worth 10 cent is unacceptable.
      Especially today!
They need to drop the clean cut “Christian boy” mentality and get some dogs. Dogs need Jesus too!!
Guys don’t get me wrong, but I’m pissef that we can’t find 10 massive dudes who can block for 3 seconds or flat pancake some people.

Is it just me or is anybody else seeing a trend here of Oklahoma firing good offensive minds?
    First Josh then Cale Gundy.
I'm starting to wonder if Brent should consider going back after Cale Gundy as OC and getting him to implement Watson Brown's offense (or something very similar), which is what he was QB under when Watson Brown was the offensive coordinator at OU in 93.
Or at minimum, seeing if Watson Brown would come out of retirement as a consultant for a few months to help Seth Litrell. 🤔😂🙌💪

I know he said quarterback competition but there better not be an actual competition where they are splitting reps this week. We don't have time for that. Hawkins needs to take all of the 1st team snaps this week to prep for Auburn, see how he plays with a full week of prep as the starter and then figure it out on the bye week.

I will say this. As a TN fan last year we as fans knew we had Nico on the bench. We as fans kept calling for Nico. TN had a decent year last year. But JH knew that keeping Nico out and roll with the less talented QB to continue to develop Nico turns out that was the correct decision. I am not sure pulling Arnold to roll with the talented Freshman would be good for him this year. Some of his success was JH going in to vanilla calling. To be honest the play calling for TN I thought was vanilla all game.

Have you ever thought the O-Line may not be as bad as you think. Look Tennessee’s front 7 are Legit!!! And they have another 7 standing on the sideline to come in fresh with little to no drop off. We have a good O-line that 2 were missing last nignt by the way, lol. Anyway we have a All conference O-line and when they scrimmage 1’s vs 1’s they cant do anything with that front 7. For a positive in the SEC you just never know. You could see some really good even Elite teams lose that is possible in the SEC. Yes OU defense will help keep them in games. But you still have to score. Some of the late scoring against TN was TN to be honest just pulling back. But I saw LSU in 2022 get boat raced by TN in the start of the season at LSU. Then LSU turned around and played for the SEC championship
But got to find some fix for that offense at OU. That is what LSU did. LSU did not have the defense that OU has at this point.
