I got one Uber eats delivery today.
Maybe there will be more orders when more drivers are bankrupt.
Deliveroo has been f****** atrocious this week I only did two orders in the whole of yesterday
Me too 😒
Which is better?? Just Eat OR Delivaroo...? Comparison according to Getting Paid per Orders. Thanks.
Prices have gone so high people dont bother placing deliver orders, when you pay £12 for an omelette plus service plus deliver fees totalling £15-£17 for a cheese omolette thats a joke, restaurants taking a piss and nobody orders.
to be fair its uber forcing the restaurants to put there prices up on on the app the comission the apps charge is massive its around 30%
Breakfast burrito $8 drink $4.
the whole industry is fucked here in the US as well
In your last video I left a comment after you talked about your dad's business in Long Eaton, I love your channel and am so glad your dad recommended it to me. I really want to buy an electric bike from him!
“Derby a little bit dodgier than Nottingham” Understatement of the decade ;) Saying that as i live in derby and used to live in Notts ;)
I'm in the US California to be exact I really enjoy your videos commentary and chitty chatter with everyone you seem like a nice person who enjoys making you tube videos
Thank you 🙏
last time I had a pick up from tesco. It was like 20 litre of milk. customer was 2.2 mile away and uber paid 3 quid for me. :D
"i think they're called terrached houses" - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 - someone has always lived a privileged life hey😆
He pronounced it right??
They are giving houses to terrorists now?
I live in the end house of a row of three
Therefore I am semi detached 😅😂😅😂😅😂
Gig hustles are tough. If you're privileged enough to not have to do it, please tip decent. It's a shit job, tips are our only motivation
Melbourne.. Way less requests coming in these days.. 10$ 8km.. 14$ 2 orders 12km..
If you work in Sheffield, I do not recommend hanging out in the centre outside McDonald’s as that is where every rider goes to get an order, I recommend just outside on either London or Ecclesall Road because that is where the juicy orders are because of the amount of fast food places there. You may just run into me is I am local to that area. Can you try to do a shift there at some point? Also don’t do Stuart as they hardly operate properly in Sheffield
I will take this advice tomorrow thank you
What bike do you have?
Hi i saw you having problems with your keys and your padlock, I brought a keyring that is like one that you can put anywhere and it's one of those that when you pull on it it extends about 2 foot and automatically recoils, like i said i have mine on the keyring and its so much easier to pull the key out to extend it and it really works well and there only about £5 and money well spent.
I went to Nottingham yesterday and I went back to London the same day
you’ve said before this isn’t your full time job but also youtube doesn’t pay much, how do you live ?
I think he means neither the deliveries nor the channel are his full time job.
@@eadweard. he’s said before delivering isn’t his full time job he does youtube
@@benmitchell. No I think he said that delivering-and-filming-for-it for-UA-cam (the whole thing) isn't his full time job.
Have you noticed a big downturn of orders since last year ? Also you think now too many couriers for the amount of jobs available?
Hey, viewer from Canada here! Was curious about how Uber Eats delivering works in the UK. Are you required to hand off the order to the customer? I rarely see you, if at all, taking photos and leaving the meal at a customer's door step or foyer. Is that a policy in the UK's version of Uber Eats? Also, YES -- I absolutely agree: pandemic streets were THE BEST here in Canada. I was considered an essential worker at the time, and it was lovely being able to cycle and or take my family car on the roads. :)
you can choose whether they meet you at the door or leave it at a doorstep or foyer, but mostly people just choose to meet at the door, the only time you really see people saying leave it is if they're in a hotel or something that doesnt let the delivery drivers upstairs
Come deliver in Birmingham!
i been watching other vids and some riders are doing good with uber eats and there plenty saying uber eats aint good to work for
I just tried ubereats delivery on bike i got 0 orders left the app on for 3 hours is it normal that is hard to get ordere as a ubereats bike delivery person
Hi brother, International student can do delivery part time job in uk?
Anyone could have just taken that first order.
New area, new adventure.
Please consider using your bell when passing people on a canal pass.
I usually do but I find the bell shocks them and I don't like doing that haha. I'd rather go really slow and pass them and sometimes let them know with my voice that I'm coming by.
Watch out for the pavement zealots 😂
👍👍👍
Darby the city looks awesome
I went out to deliver Uber Eats today in Gloucester, in over 2 hours I made 3 deliveries and a total of £14 minus insurance, fuel and vehicle wear, terrible... the only benefit with Uber eats is they guarantee the national living wage for when you are on delivery, so if McDonald's for example keep you waiting (as they do) there is a chance that Uber Eats will have to increase your income before your payout.
Nice story...
that's a funny joke if your being sarcastic, Uber eats does not pay national min wage, as an uber eats driver your self employed (independent contractor) you earn per delivery, thats it
@abdihakimabdi6189 yes they do, they also pay an additional 12% holiday pay at time of payout... look it up yourself... it is one Google search away my friend.
@originalunoriginal4055 I wouldn't say negative, but probably not that far off. H&R insurance is 80p per hour, and I did around 16 miles, so I probably made something stupid like £3.50 per hour, which isn't worth my time or the wear on my car.
@abdihakimabdi6189 for context, Uber lost a court battle in the UK a while ago that forced them to do so.
What people fail to realise is there are actually 3 levels of employment: employee, worker and self employed, as an Uber driver, you are a worker, meaning that while you you are registered self employed, you are also entitled to some benefits, you can even set up a pension with Uber.
But as I say... look it up yourself, I'll await your apology. :)
i live in derby
Poor sod
If you do deliverys in Derby again there's a delivery driver entrance to the left of subway in the food court area. It leads directly on to the road so you don't need to go down past poundland etc. Would save you lots of time.
Cheers for that mate!
Prices have spiralled here it's £12 now just for fish n chips, i think delivery services will continue to struggle as costs continue to rise less and less people will use takeaways.
Uber Rides isn't much better ... the tech support is useless.
Sometimes i was on Uber about 4-5hrs and No Orders that’s joke , today also 3hrs on just eat shift no orders actually today 7hrs just eat 5 orders so bad
It's getting worse and worse from what I'm seeing!
my home town..
Cash Generator the only shop going strong in Derby I c
Bro here in London it took me 2hr to get 1 order , but I think Uber its busy only when:
- Its raining/snowing
- Its Eid
- New Years day
- Weekends
yeah same here in Liverpool, been using uber eats only while I was waiting for the other apps to let me on, averaging about £3 an hour because there's just no orders for uber eats over here compared to the others apps... So annoying
I'm here in Portsmouth and it's the weekend. I live in the biggest hotspot in the city.. and well I have gotten 20 orders over the whole week
Same here in Reading town 😅
when other lockdown comes we gonna get paid good again :)
Nobody should ever have to go to Derby
I don't really care about it being busy or not, £4 for a 2 mile drop is absolute 🐶💩 and should be rejected by every driver.
Same here, I'd rather wait around longer and get paid a fair price for a Stuart order.
You drivers should be paid more
Exhau as ting work crap pay
Unless you want to go that direction to get to a better zone and think a better order is unlikely to come soon, ofc... But I agree that it's not great generally.
Come visit uber belgium bro
Man... i've just had my ubereats account de-activated. Been a rider for 3 yrs with a 98+% rating! I tried appealing but there's no explanation whatsoever! I'm so mad about it man! Uber eats really don't care man!
Not surprised mate! Uber Eats have terrible rider/driver support. I wouldn't try to find out why because they will ignore you or just give you some robotic response. The app is dead nowadays so I wouldn't worry about it too much!
Man that's exactly what happened! The only way to stay untouched is if you have a good online presence like you bro! It's so gutting man... so many deliveries and miles on my bike... out the window! Anyways thanks for the reply man... keep doing what ur doing dude! Pretty much everything u've experienced in ur vids... so have I man! It's good to have someone to relate to on here!✌️🤙🙏
Good luck
When are you going to deliver in London? 😊
It's difficult to get my bike into London tbh. In other cities I just park on the edge of the city and cycle in! It's not that easy with London but I have an idea that might work!
Do you know why i only get one zone showing as available on just eat courier app?
Please come one day to deliver in my town Watford
Isn't that the fictional area where East Enders is based?
@@ForkCandle123No mate. I’m talking about Watford and in Eastenders it’s Walford the fictional town.
@@richardafonso5544 I was jesting with you. I always think Walford when I see Watford written or said. It's like when I ask Australians where in Austria they are from.
does it give long contract to delivers??
👍🏻
Been enjoying your video's on the Tele but remembered this time to like your video on my phone and say thank you bro great video's. Take care 👍🙏
How old is the oldest delivery driver out there you've seen ?
It looks like a young man's game.
DELIVERY DRIVING IS A CRAP JOB TOTAL WASTE OF TIME YEARS AGO APPRENTLY IT WAS AMAZING NOWDAYS ITS CRAP
