On my 57th Birthday on June 23rd I will have been a proud Muslim for four months. THIS interview is amazing! The Grace of ALLAH(SWT)has already placed me in a 'World view' of gratitude yet I have also suffered from anxiety, depression and addiction. this past May 26th I celebrated One year alcohol free. I did not find Islam, it found me. Alhamdulillah! ALLAHU AKBAR! AL HAQ! AL JABBAR!

Gratitude is essential in everything. Even when you wake up talk to yourself and say I am alive and I am going to have a good day and be grateful for all I’ve got. There is a lot of goodness in gratitude, even in old age , loneliness is abundant and the elderly who are optimistic and grateful will live longer.
He is right! When you don't Pray Depression will overtake
But Allhamdoullilah our Religion is perfect maschallah.

The story at the end with the U.S soldier and the civilian really brought tears to my eyes, we fail to remember how Allah SWT is in full control and it’s through our acceptance of that and our actions that will help anchor our ummah like Sh Shinawy mentioned. SubhanAllah

Talbina is made with barley and water and barley contains B vitamins which can help in depression
depression is oppression
once u know how to avoid oppression (fighting the governments system)
then the depression goes away
as you have security and protection and freedom
