I understand that you can live view and configure your cameras through pc but can you use hikvision mobile app for that too or you still have to use the 3rd party's camera app? I have some 3rd party cameras which in order to live view i use their app. What if i buy a hikvision nvr then will i be able to do it via the hik app? Thanks for your video!
Hi. Iam having murder trying to add Dahua cams to my new Hik Nvr. I have 10 Dahua cams 3 mini domes and 7 bullet cams. The full 10 cams will work then with no pattern at all, 1 by 1 the 7 bullet cams start to disappear after a few hours or a day or so. The only thing i can see different is the mini domes all take arnd 2.5watts and the 7 bullets 3.5watts. Ive replaced the Nvr. But still same problem. Hik support are baffled. So am i. I have seen a thread recommends using an ext POE switch for the bullet cams. Any other ideas would be appreciated. If i default the Nvr they re appear for a while. "Unknown error" appears when i try to re connect to the cams
When I hook up my dahua ip camera to hikvision it keep saying "incorrect username or password" while it is the right username and password. What is the problem?
ONVIF authentication needs to be turned off. That setting can be found under the (network->port) tab. This is also true for other software such as VLC, OBS or Blue Iris.
