Sorry I didn't explain what people experience at the haunted tunnel. I cut out early when I heard something during our conversation. "Nowadays, hikers report hearing laughter in the area and cars able to get close enough have found tiny handprints in window fog. People feel tugging on their clothes and have reported finding scratches on their skin with no recollection of abrasive impact during their hike." -outtherecolorado.com Link: www.outtherecolorado.com/adventures/the-haunted-tunnels-of-gold-camp-road/article_5ec540e6-bba9-50ee-aab6-d636d980fc56.html
You be amazed how much you can hear from long distance away when your in the hills. Voices seem to travel very far in that type of environment. I reside in the hill country and I can hear folks talking sitting on their balcony. The distance is at least / over 200 meters
Thanks brother. Yea the tree drop freaked me out a little. My first time running up to it I had to stop and take a look. Drops are not my forte right now. I’be been watching too much Friday Fails haha. Thanks for watching 🙏
Again a very cool video buddy, very nicely done and edited💯👌. The stories about the tunnel are cruel 🙈. The trails were great and had a lot of variety. Very nicely driven. Super work🤙. Ride on buddy and have fun🤘
Another epic vid and ride. Sorry I missed this one. Way to tell a story through commentary and videography. Love seeing you hit the drops and go right at the tech downhill.
Ithat tunnel is awesome ! Been there many times. Used to be able to climb through the fence and go inside 😬 great riding on Daniels tho, that trail looks super fun!
@@doubletrackdodger2512 yea you can park at the upper parking lot at Cheyenne canon when they finish paving it. My opinion is it’s better than Danny’s.
Looks like another awesome trail and great times! Looks like there been some taggers that got into the tunnel 😤 before it was closed up. You had a close one @ 6:30 , great save brother. You handled it like a boss 🍻.
Yea unfortunately you’ll see some tags at random places throughout the busy sections of the trail. People just ruining this beautiful country side 🤬. Yea I thought I was going down…that dang tree root was slick. Thanks!
Such well captured footage, so incredible! And the landscape is just so wonderful, it's a great place to explore! That haunted cave looks a bit creepy, especially that they've put a gate on it, what are they hiding?! 😳 New subscriber for you my friend 😁
I appreciate the nice comments 🙏. There’s so much to see here at North Cheyenne Canon. There are more hiking trails with waterfalls, creeks, and views overseeing the mountains. Yea I think they placed the gates there cause the tunnel is unstable and might collapse. Thank you for your support! I love your channel!
Yes sir! Brad is about 90% recovered. He still feels some soreness in his thumb. But he’s happy to be out here riding. Thanks for asking. The descent was about 0.7 miles but seemed longer than that. It was worth the climb up there. Have you been riding?
Yea it was really nice not having vehicles on gold camp. Now we need to be careful of careless drivers and dust. It was nice while it lasted. Just very happy no one was hurt. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Hey brother! My favorite comments to see is folks wanting to get into mountain biking. I’m so stoked you want to get started in this epic activity. So to answer your question…it depends. I know you don’t like that answer cause I don’t but it depends on how much you want to spend and what are your plans with it. Looking at your channel it seems like you like to adventure out so getting a reliable mountain bike is my first recommendation. When I say reliable I mean the components on the bike (drivetrain, shifters, brakes, etc). My bike is a 2014 model but the components on it are upgraded to better quality. This is helped so much on climbing and descending terrain in Colorado. If you want a budget bike, polygon or bikes from bikesdirect.com is a great start but look closely to the components and shocks on it. If you want to spend a little more, brand names like Specialized, Santa Cruz, Yeti, YT, Revel, etc won’t disappoint but youll be spending about $3-6Gs. Sorry there’s so much to tell you. The best thing to do if you want to spend some cash on a new bike is to demo it. Some bikes stores in Colorado have that service. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions. I would love to talk. Thanks for the sub. 🙏
@@jonathandunn4864 yea you can do Daniels, Sweetwater, and Bruin. I have another video of the route i did. Hopefully that one helps more. This video is Daniel’s pass before the redo

Heck yeah man! Rippin it up! Great shots ! Yeah that tunnel seems haunted for sure.
For sure! I heard if you’re riding through the tunnel at night you will hear voices. Yea no thanks.

I appreciate you checking out the video. We both love to explore!
Awesome channel bro. I just stumbled across it looking up local trails to ride as I’m just now getting into MTB. Keep the content coming.
Wow, what a view, love to be able to ride on this trail.
Amazing place…it never gets old over there. I appreciate your comment.
Awesome videos. I'd say get Buffalo Creek Little Scraggy on your list if it's not already. Rampart Reservoir is a really fun ride too
Hey Nick! Yes I agree those are great trails! I did those last year and had a blast. Thanks for watching!
Awesome content man, 20 days and counting :))))
I appreciate it! You’re coming in at a good time. Great weather and the trails are 👍🏼👌🏻
We love hero dirt! Stratton looks gorgeous.
When you visit Stratton and Cheyenne Canon are my recommendation. Let me know!

Dude I was wondering how people got in there. I bet you would slay Daniels Pass.
Yeah, I think there is a pretty easy way in on the other side. But I definitely need to try Daniels, it looks really fun! Kind of like Danny’s right?

I'm going to have to check that out, thanks for sharing. Tossing a SUB out to my fellow UA-camr. 👌🏼

@@DavePFilms thanks. That really helped a lot
@@DavePFilms I’m at my LBS. And is Trek a good brand? Also I’m a beginner
@@juscedric4679 yes Trek is a great brand. What model bike?
@@DavePFilms I think it was the marlon 5. I didn’t get because I wanted to do more research.
After Daniels pass DH, what do you recommend down to Stratton? Columbine all the way? Columbine to gold camp/chutes?
I recommend taking Daniels pass to Bruin then climb back up columbine to gold camp to chutes. That’s a good ride!
What about sweetwater canyon?

Does this trail still exist or has it been closed since the new daniels pass has opened?
I’m sorry this trail was rebuilt to what it is today. You’ll see parts of the trail closed and covered up.
