The closest we got was E3 2016 when they revealed God of war. She performed with Bear McCreary and his orchestra for the God of war theme
I went to see her in November in Manchester. A small gig, but the best I've ever been to. She sounds perfect live. I'd say each song sounds better live than on her albums. A little bit more bass and her voice was dancing around the room. So glad I found her music!

You are so right. As a musician myself, I have never understood sound engineers who aren't musicians... To engineer sounds you have to be able to create sound and understand sound, as only Musicians can do...
It may sound weird, but knowing how an instrument SHOULD sound is one thing from how a musician understands how music should come out. There are people who calibrate monitors who aren't especially interested in movie making or films. But they understand color references, there is some kind of perfection of detail going on that, if musicians had it. Their albums would come out sterile because music is not supposed to be flawless. When you hear the mechanical music that is made digitally you never hear any flaws or wrong notes being played. But when you listen to music being played in analog, you pick up the flaws here and there and it is what makes it living and human.

That concert at St. Pancras Old Church, I'll remember that one as well. Pure genius that evening at that venue.

What you say about performing live, yeah! That really is the only way that sound-making can exist in time, there is no other way, in spite of the gazillions of petabytes of recorded music. Eric Dolphy made this enigmatic statement, at the end of Last Date: "when you hear music, after it's over, it's gone in the air, you can never capture it again". After 45 years I'm beginning to understand what he meant.

yoı came to Turkey this year and i was so ready to see you live for the first time. But my girlfriend had a terrible day and had a mental breakdown. I sensed it coming so i decided not to go to the concert. She broke up with me a week ago. But i do not regret my decision for that day.
