Britain does have a great history after all. Too sad people will never know of these, and will never get to visit them. Some of them are like English versions of the Versailles.
+John King I'd say some rather than a lot. One big problem is the number of Septics who complain about British narrators, apparently they can't understand them, so someone has to pay the additional cost of over-dubbing. A rather sad example is Sir David's excellent docus.
It's a shame that the audio seems to have been intentionally cut out. The previous episodes didn't have this disappointing, and ultimately unviewable problem.
I have always loved watching stories about the stately homes of England. Absolutely beautiful.🇺🇸🇺🇸
A masterpiece of filming and presantation.
Fantastic

How exciting Trish , do you mean that you used to own it ?
No, I worked for Lord & Lady Hesketh so lived in the house at the time. My husband was the Butler.

loaded to the gills with wonder
What is the monogram on the ironwork outside the gallery palladian window, looks like an A? What, just a baronet?
This UA-cam mix is a confusing mess! Out of sequence, jumping from one house to another then back. Loss of audio at points. What is going on?
This man reminds me of my grandfather taken about Hoorn
I don't care about any of that stuff all I want to see is the way it is furnished and decorated on the inside.. can you please show that...

Sorry, you're right..
So do you know the music?
SeedsofJoy No, I can’t help you...
No one lives this way anymore. It takes far too much $$$$ to maintain.
Er yes they do the owner has a fashion empire.
It takes so many people to keep up a place like this plus a large family down through the generations.
Tengo un trofeo de plata de 1800 de ese castillo
heard of dishnet work they provide british programming
Dishnet? What is that?
dish network is a satellite service
Right, bit like Sky TV here in the UK owned by Rupert Murdoch.
How much pride to British history,. But British exploited other countries and it's treasure and left its scar...by damaging to the max ......😬
This obsequious host drives me crazy with his constant leaning over and dramatic whispering. Why can he not stand up straight?
Your opinion means nothing but we're all glad you got it off your chest.
