- Ross Patterson, Mat Best, Jarred Taylor, and Evan Hafer are joined by the "Lone Survivor" himself, Marcus Luttrell, as he talks about his illustrious career both in and out of the military. Marcus is one of the most inspiring people we know and it was great to finally sit down with him on the show. Amazing show.

When Marcus Luttrell speaks everyone shuts up and listens. And that my friends is RESPECT!
That's how it should be PERIOD
Of course Marcus luttrell commence the most respectand let's not forget all the other special operators up there who came after
So fucking true bro
He looks and talks like he is much happier in life, Especially after what happened, he deserves it and it makes me so happy to see.
After he ran away and left his friends to die
Marcus Luttrell has two giraffe, humvees, a 100 person hot tub, drones, and might buy a black hawk...imagine the ads for that presidential campaign. This has been my favorite podcast so far. Can you do a black rifle coffee entourage skit now that shit had me crying.
And a zebra
Him and Morgan should run as President and vice president and then they could switch roles and see if anyone notices like they did in buds they would have my vote guaranteed.
@@maddog7795 Everyone would notice because Marcus's nose is 3ft long.
Marcus is a wise and humble man, a true role model.
I’ve seen almost every Marcus lutrell interview on UA-cam & every time he tells his story about what happened in the past. He Never shed a tear. That dude is freaking tough as nails. Physically & emotionally
to think after he recovered from his injuries, he deployed to Iraq , Ramadi, lived to fight another day
You hear of men that when they speak everyone just stops and listens. That man is Marcus Luttrell.
Somthing tells me you havent seen the jocko memes.
He’s a bullshitter that became a millionaire off the graves of his teammates.
He had all his ammo when the rangers picked him up. He didn’t fight like his teammates did.
@@sc12100 you sir are an idiot
@@joseyleck8282 lol......ok
@Benjamin Kennedy The After Action Reports with both Ranger and Marine accounts (as well as book written by them about Redwings) paints the picture that Marcus ran. Marcus also said during an interview that there was a firefight in his rescue - which was proven false by the Rangers that rescued him. They even stated that the villagers were welcoming upon their arrival to pick up Luttrell and even had tea with Gulab for 30mins prior to departing.
Luttrells story is bogus and its all about how much money he can make off a story that is really more of a tragedy due to incompetence and arrogance from leadership than it is about heroism.
Finally! Btw check out team never quit podcast everyone!
The collective hallucination episode. Love that one.
Been listening daily in my car the last 3 weeks to and from work. Great content!
My nephew worked at Juneau Construction, as a supervisor, for several years. Every year they went to the ranch and hunted. He always had a great time. Thank you.
I just finished his book Lone Survivor and I’m thrilled to see Marcus like this. He seems to be doing really well and loving life.
I loved Marcus' story about paying respect to the crew of the USS Arizona
I've heard stories about maintenance divers that go down and have seen through portholes spaces that are still watertight and you can see the skeletons literally in uniform that were trapped in those spaces. Still are. Much respect.
One of my favorite groups of people I have listened to! Thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do for our great nation!!!
I felt that handshake through the screen haha
FOR REALLLLLL THO!!!!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I grew up diving and free diving in San Diego, Mexico, and the island that they train in. Seriously some of the most sketchy waters on the planet. Most people that dive in those areas know exactly what they're doing, and those that don't get checked really quick. Great stories. I have huge respect for Marcus and always enjoy hearing his perspective on things.
It was great to see Marcus on the show..dude is a genuine ,real to the core..his philosophy on life is 1st class..
I agree. It seems every other interview he has to relive that fight on the mountain.
1:04:30 is just life haha. Thank you for validating women as an incredibly strong and powerful man in a huge position of power. Thank you. Your story is just incredible and I strive to be considered even half the person you are Mr. Marcus Luttrell.
i have the overwhelming need for no one to talk but marcus luttrell
Lmao same
Only pressed play because Marcus Luttrell named in title............
Thank goodness for his refreshing, quick witted humour.
His humility......His humility must make many a man cringe, when upon self reflection they realise the hardships life lessons faced are minuscule in comparison to this mans life lessons.
Yes every man is different and every situation differs, next time you sit in traffic cursing, whining due to the rain, wondering why on earth that bloke in front of you is taking so long to order a burger....
Remember what this bloke and many others similar to him have experienced......
Be thankful our challenges in life, are not life itself.
Marcus need to have a podcast were he just shoots the shit with fellow veterans. I was on the edge of my seat listening to his stories. I'd watch and listen to every episode 👊😎👊
search for the team never quit podcast
Also look up Vigilance Elite
Team Never Quit podcast is an amazing thing to listen to
Also, look up the truth about Marcus ...he is a coward who deserted on his squad. Should have been court marshalled
@@luisgomes535 seriously? And you believe that? Why don't you look up the debriefing after he got home about how messed up he was. The dude literally died on the operating table. He fought with everything he had. He fought with his team untill the very end. He ended up alone in basically no clothes with no gear besides his rifle. By the time he made the decision to hide until it was safe to evade it was the option left for survival. Don't be so easy to believe BS. Saying Navy Seal coward that deserted his squad doesn't even make sense. He went back to active duty and back to an active platoon again after, everybody else he served with and been in actual combat with that stands behind him is all full of shit and covering up a coward huh?
How did I miss this before? Marcus Luttrell is one amazing person, and as always, a great conversation with BRCC group. That was one well spent hour of my time.
he bought some Giraffes... so he went from 'Lone Survivor' to 'We Bought a Zoo' - his life story jumps continents AND genres - bravo
Scott Wellman Scott ever since that man returned!! It’s been nothing but lone survivor,he knows he’s the only one to make it.With respect Scott.
You can tell Marcus likes podcast like this with veterans and that he is enjoying himself
Marcus is too cool. All of the dive stories are crazy, its amazing what him and all of the armed forces do!
Loved everything Marcus has to say about the women, life, and people.
Marcus is the man!! The way he spoke of being a badass to being a husband. One of a kind rite here! Definitely an American hero....all you guys are amazing! Jersey love over here..
This was one of the best shows recently. Evan makes or breaks each podcast in my opinion.
Marcus is a great guy and magnificent warrior
Marcus looks like he is doing better. His energy. This makes me happy.
I always thought the BRC crew was cool, and than Luttrell comes along and blows them all out of the water. Luttrell is a national treasure. I suggest everyone reads every single one of his books
I read his story and God know he inspired me in SO MANY WAYS, GOD BLESS 'EM 🙏💖
Amen
May God bless Marcus & his family.
Angels of Christ Jesus protect them all amen 🙏 JESUCRISTO ✝️ BENDIGA 🇺🇸
Happy Memorial day to your team Marcus that gave all and to others
Marcus Lutrell speaks like Dimebag from Pantera! Excited and kinda has his own Texas language and mannerisms! Great interview guys!
“ Getcha Pull 🎸”
Dearest drinkin' bros......Garand Thumb, that is all
Yeah, they had a phone podcast with him. It was pretty terrible. Mostly just JT talking while Mike laughed. Hopefully Mike (Garand Thumb) gets more exposure soon
Love this, God bless our Veterans
“Our reputation is all we have…”
-Marcus Luttrell ✊✨
11:45 "you have a 100 person hot tub?"
"We do"
"I can fit so many guys in there"
This episode could have been 8 hours long and it still would have ended too soon!
Bro it will be so cool if you guys getting Nicholas Irving aka the reaper on your show
Read his book and I was on edge from beginning to end.
Guys who were there say it's a lie. He arrived in the Afghan village with 11 full magazines.
popularmilitary.com/marines-and-afghan-who-saved-marcus-luttrell-say-lone-survivor-was-lie/
His story, the story of his team and what they went thru is EPIC
I’ve just been watching at least. At fucking least 4 hours of Marcus on UA-cam with almost every video completed I swear.
However!!! This is the first video, legit the first video I’ve seen him laugh, smile, feel so comfortable, relatable and just all round in the moment than this podcast.
Y’all boys nailed the hospitality for him. You can tell this is the shit he needed and needs and wants!!! Thank you for doing this for him 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽 Love from Australia,
P.s if you ever bring your coffee here, I’ll be all over it 👍🏽
Yup
Definitely need to make Marcus a regular on the show.
Luttrell is pretty awesome!! Watched the making of lone Survivor , unbelievably heroic story, the stunt man were foooken bananas in that making also!
Marcus so humble man.
Watched this many times. So great.
If you wanna be a man, or raise a man then Marcus is a perfect example of how all men need to be raised. Everything about him is very inspiring.
Gotta have Marcus Luttrell on more often! He's humble but awesome to listen to
@Jay S. Newsfeed and a butthurt translator are what you chose to backup this statement? Not buying it
@Jay S. No I'm not saying that he would hurt you but you would freeze up anyway if you met him in person and you would never say shit to him. You're a pussy plain and simple.
The man survived Hell in order to spread his learned knowledge of life and wisdom. OBVIOUSLY any word uttered is gold ❤🇺🇸
after he healed from his injuries he again deployed to Iraq, Ramadi
@@petermurdoch3001 I know. I read the book.
Amazing. Truly Amazing.
"I don't drink tea" idk why but that line fucking killed me lol.
That was great, didn't want it to end.
What a precusor to tiger king. I'm curious if luttrell ever had these guys over to his property. It's fun to see people get excited to go places.
Marcus is a smart dude
You are a good man Mr Luttrell.
Blackhawk pilot and instructor. I’ll fly that thing for free my brothers.....
Were you 160th?
@@maddog7795 Na, I wasn't quite that highspeed, plus I left active duty prior to becoming a pilot and 160th is all active duty. My twin brother flew 47s for 160th though. I know he got a chance to talk to Mat when he was at Campbell on one occasion.
10-4 on the water,my Dad was a WWII Frogman,he was always at home in the water. Training then was at Ft Pierce Fla.
@Fresh Start Yes,there were Frogmen in the second world war. He graduated and was on his way to Tokyo Bay in 1945. There were also Frogmen at the landings at Normandy. Look it up if you have doubts.
can brcc do a crib episode on marcus lutrell's ranch please?
Damn that sub story was crazy just imagine dark middle of ocean trying to get in a sub from the outside wow!
Best podcast going.. Thanks guys.
Marcus Luttrell is a very wise man, when he speaks, he just makes speeches that explain life to anyone will listen, the way he spoke about the first responders etc and how smashes together you have camo, Wow that was so Deep... and I am a British man but, damn, these are the people who I aspire to be like... PS I am watching this in 2021 and this man's words are so relevant...
I have not watch this in a while Marcus hit the jackpot with the neighbors property and his leg doctor was crazy he was living life lol 👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Just a genuine good dude. Rlly good dude
2:48 I no shit joined the Marine Corps, did 4 years and two tours as a rifleman and a pig in a sniper platoon because of the movie. Dammit Marcus!
Respect is an understatement man that guy went thru some shiet
35:45 Marcus: "So I mean, jumpin off the back of a nuclear submarine and swimmin in two miles in a hurricane off of 'The Great..........Unknkown Waters" L M F A O
Best Drinkn Bros ever.
There was a guy that had a landing pad in his back yard on the lake I grew up on in MI. Hew flew the helicopter into work then fly it home at night! It was pretty cool to watch.
At 1:20, that was the manliest fucking handshake I've heard in my life.
Holy shit. I’m a college educated, progressive Democrat millennial. I knew Marcus from Lone Survivor but had never watched him anywhere else. He amazes me and is a national treasure.
You need to re think the demonrat part of that
Lone Star in the hunting season can. Hell yeah brother.
I have listened to this one twice.
Marcus smoothed over the poop suppressor question hahaha
I know you guys go through WY every once in a while, so if you are in Casper WY, go to Eggingtons for breakfast or lunch!
Amazing breakfast foods and ive traveled a fair amount and its so far my favorite breakfast place !

The kelp beds off of San Clemente.......brings back memories......Love his stories!
They are thick. Been there a few times. Its a different world at night
Love the podcast Sgt hill usmc 2000-2008
Marcus Luttrell should try Bowens Island at Folly Beach outside of Charleston. Awesome super fresh, and beautiful view. Just a freakin giant porch on the marsh. Sunset suckin down a beer and oysters, or picking at some fried fish is unreal.
Been there and it's a beautiful place and great time brother
I live in Seattle, Matt's Famous Dogs in South Park, has the best 2am dogs ever!! Love Alki Beach in West Seattle Saltys is the dank food there!
Badass! Love Marcus
Best podcast ever, no pun intended.....
Greatest podcast ever
John Wayne did a film catching wild game for zoos. I think it was called, "Bring'em Back Alive." Cast included Red Buttons and Hardy Kruger.
It was actually called "Hatari". Love that movie.
Good looking out giving Bama a shout out !!! Roll Tide
You need to try Bill’s hotdogs in Washington, NC. Good stuff.

phenomenal
Some might say this is just another podcast... I say that it is the most interesting podcast in the world.
The Seattle dog hits home. apparently I told a bouncer of a "famous rapper " he and he client can wait behind me in line at like 2 am.
Okay, so this place( little drive from Eglin AFB) should be on your list of places to eat, Ed's Tasty Freeze, Defuniak Springs, FL. Their sour cream and chive fries with the steer burger bacon cheese is the best hands down of any where.
If Marcus Luttrell ran for president, he’d win 100%
III once wirked fir a big game ranch trapping wild boars...we did on horseback with two Carolina Mountain Curs and lassos. Could be fluid and hair raising at times, but compared to war it was as dangerous as a beer bust. Thanks one and all for your service and sacrifice, wives included.
Lived here my whole life and never heard of merts. I know where I’m eating this weekend
It's right outside of Charlotte if I remember correctly. Great food I ate there a few years ago
Marcus Lutrell is one the coolest funny guys, plus he’s got the heroic war stories also. Might be cooler than chuck Norris
This shit is fucking funny, I'm in love with this channel now.
