California Gulch Animas Fork Colorado 2017

A short trip from California Pass through California Gulch down to Animas Fork. This was a small part of a very long day of riding the trails east of the Million Dollar Highway.

I would recommend a guide book by Funtreks that outlines the distance of each trail in the area which would help to plan day long trips. It is difficult to quote durations, because of scenery stops, traffic, and vehicle type. We wheeled 7-8 hours a day and had a blast.

I agree with the others. I like the way you put this vid together. I'm subbed and will watch them all. We just bought an '18 JL after trading in my old '04 TJ. I'll be wanting to visit southwest CO soon!

@chris younts, possibly the Frisco Mill that is near the trail junction of Placer Gulch and California Gulch @ 37.9325407, -107.5806324. When we were there last, the mill property was for sale.
