She is the best subdps for a fusion team. Personally I want a strong team for every element in the game. She will be great for any future fusion damage main dps.
Exactly. Changli is a main DPS and was tagged as one in-game, because she is meant to deal damage consistently, therefore demanding field time to gain stacks in order to release a heavy attack damage. Her stacks provide her fusion damage bonus too. Her high multiplier liberation also gives full stack w/c again allows her to spam her HA mech more. If people just read and understand her kit clearly, and could simulate her attacks and rotations in mind, they could tell. Don't get me started talking about her sequences, those beast sequences arent definitely designed for just a mere "sub dps". hearing people say that changli is a sub-DPS makes me stop watching the video right away. people see one SMALL part of her kit and say “OH! SO SHES A SUB-DPS” but all you have to do is read her kit and do the math with her multipliers to see she’s very obviously a main dps. the only reason her kit has that outro skill is to keep the “flow of combat” which is a common theme in Wuwa. it’s literally only 10 seconds too, it’s not like it’s enough time to validate that single part of her kit making her a sub-DPS.

if you read her kit and skills carefully, she is built as a Main DPS with HIGH on-field time and her whole playstyle is on those stack building, skill, ult and rinse repeat. I'll be honest, 15% defense ignore is no way better than having 38% deepen buff. Why prople find it so useful as a off field debuff, whereas it's her debuff for herself.
it kind of does. its not the single indicator. but a selfish hyper carry type of resonator (the classic main dps) usually has a selfish outro. having one that buffs, does actually make her seem kind of hybrid or like a burst/quickswap heavy dps where you pretty much split the damage 50/50 between the two with one buffer. think encore/havoc rover but with a buff on havoc rovers (changlis) outro. you would want to really make use of that outro giving incentive to use the 10 seconds onfield for the other character making changli herself getting less onfield time. thats not a main dps in my eyes, not saying shes not dealing good dmg. its just a different style of character.
Ironically if they didn't change the way outro work, these "support type" outro will still be fine even for dps. In beta your outro doesn't expire even if your next unit swap out, as long as their animation stay on field. What this means is that for example in the case of Yinlin and chalcaro comp, you outro yinlin, chalcaro did chalcaro thing, swap yinlin back and that yinlin will still has her own outro buff which is good. This is why that change nerf chalcaro/yinlin combo, but then again not everyone like to play like that Changli get it even worst, because encore is so much easier to use that strat than chalcaro (encore outro literally stay on field for quite a long time) making their combo not only very strong but easy to pull off..... But unfortunately as the way outro work is changed that doesn't matter anymore, regardless what you do, the moment the next character swap out your outro expired

And every thought here gets turned upside down once people actually get their hands on the character and experiment to see what they can truly do. Theory only goes so far and a demo isn't what the end product is. Also most characters has been shown to be able to main dps just fine. Damage isn't up to par for some, like Taoqi and the two healers obviously, but the majority can do it just fine. All outro skill determines is who you pair with who. Not main or sub dps.
If only Changli could transfer her 15% DEF ignore to the characters in the team, that would make her one of the best character in the game rn. she's still worth pulling for tho.

from the inital tests i saw around in the first 2 weeks of the game, defense is calced similar to genshin and HSR. even if its roughly the same and i dont know the exact way they do in in wuwa, that 15% def ignore is basicly +15% dmg increase. so its a bit more simpler to think about what these def ignore/reductions are in both current and later.
@@shaka2tu i never said it was. defense is calced as a level scaling mechanic that is added with resistance. equal level is 50% dmg reduction, that i do know is the case. and the rough calcs says it increases and decreases with level at a vary similar rate as genshins. ignoring 15% of defense is actually 15%-17.6% damage increase compared to if there was no def ignore
@@drantino A 15% DEF ignore does not equal a 15% damage increase. The actual increase depends on the specific DEF values involved and typically results in a smaller percentage increase in damage. it will NEVER give you 15% more dmg as a result.
@@shaka2tu even if im wrong on the rough number, doing math on the few multis that people have approximatly think its actually more around 10% in most cases of the attacker being 10 lvls below. but the formula in question involves (attackers level+flat value)/((attackers lvl+flatvalue)+(defenders lvl+flat)*def reduction)) enemys defense is always caled by that level + flat value. and vary rarely do they ever modify it in genshin, the boss even on custimizable difficulty is the only one i can recall ever being able to know about a direct modifier. wuwa might have fun with this as a modifer on things in the future, not sure. and a level 90 attacker attack a level 65(65.194... to be more exact assuming the formula ive found is correct) with 15% def reduction is actually a 15% damage increase. so yes it is possible to get a 15% dmg increase.

Quick question is jinhsi weapon better or changli weapon to get if you have jiyan limited. Cause as mentioned if changli bis slot 2 is not here yet. Should we heavily invest on her so that she has her weapon or is battle pass ok. There might be reruns of the banner so I was just wondering.
It’s up to you Jinhsis weapon is around 13-18% better than jiyans. The passive on her bis is nice but it’s mainly up to your crit ratio. Changlis weapon is a sword and honestly in my opinion I don’t think her weapon is that big of an upgrade from emerald of genesis (standard 5* sword) cause both swords have the same crit value. The only difference is 56% skill damage up with her bis and 12.8% energy regen with the standard 5* weapon
if Changli is a sub dps because of her outtro buff, then Danjin is also a sub dps because her outtro buff also an elemental buff…and that is just kinda wrong
Crazy to me how people don't see Changli is basically foundation for Geshu lin, i think he'll play like Jiyan even more because of the resonance liberation buff she gives, and his power is black flames from Jiyan's character video, so probably fusion, they're literally teasing him by releasing her with her not being a perfect support for any character right now
im hoping that changli is a main damage dealer ( not with the typo/error description again ) judging by wuwa's banner pattern 1st phase is DPS character 2nd phase is sub DPS character
The question I have is do def ignore become stackable eventually. Cause if down yhe road it isn't the most def ignore but it just bunches together have two def ignore can make your damage that much higher and future proof chanli position

if you think she needs S6 to be a dps, you're brain is fried. The amount of on-field time to get 4 stacks and use forte is quite long. If a character takes a lot of fiend time, it doesn't make sense to give them bad damage. Even yinlin doesnt need that much field time to get her forte up. If changli is meant to purely only be a sub dps, they would have made getting her 4 stacks a lot faster, just like how sanhua can do Intro, Skill, Ult, Detonate all within 4 seconds. Please mommy Changli, I beg you to come home to me easy. For my wallet’s sake, please…

Changli is beautiful, whats is kore inportant than that??
Just duo dps changli with chixia and pair with a support of your choice. The perfect mother / daughter duo.
She is the best subdps for a fusion team. Personally I want a strong team for every element in the game. She will be great for any future fusion damage main dps.
Which one will you choose? Big damage or big booba?
I was not expecting that face to that voice. Was expecting an actual doggo
Please stop including mortefi in the list of good teammates for Jinhsi, he needs to be on field to build her forte.
Sadly people are fixated on that too good of an outro buff that's why they label her as a sub dps. Guess we'll have to wait for her live then the narrative could change

hearing people say that changli is a sub-DPS makes me stop watching the video right away. people see one SMALL part of her kit and say “OH!

Thats why Jinhsi weapon consider a must pull (stardard boardblade is ass + Jinhsi dps is insane)

Isnt quickswap Chixia mostly liberation dmg? How is she not perfect to go with Changli?
she's definately better than with encore. Ult deals insane dmg while filling up chixia's forte by 60, which allows her to go right into DAKA DAKA (Hold E Skill)
The only way changli could be a main dps is when we got a burst dps that has low field time, if the upcoming fire unit has the same field time as encore then she's definitely a sub-dps.

if you read her kit and skills carefully, she is built as a Main DPS with HIGH on-field time and her whole playstyle is on those stack building, skill, ult and rinse repeat. She is pretty unique since she is like a Hybrid of Main DPS and Sub DPS at the same time, you can switch between playstyle of DPS. So if you want her as a Sub-DPS, it will absolutely work. But if you want her as Main DPS, she will absolutely dominate as well.

Let me say this. P O W E R C R E E P . It is the matter of time.
Whats with kuro making Dominance characters as Sub dps, or at least making the comunity think they are 😅
As someone who plays for waifus, the choice has always been clear. 😵💫
Outro skill determines main or sub dps? riiiight.
it kind of does. its not the single indicator. but a selfish hyper carry type of resonator (the classic main dps) usually has a selfish outro. having one that buffs, does actually make her seem kind of hybrid or like a burst/quickswap heavy dps where you pretty much split the damage 50/50 between the two with one buffer. think encore/havoc rover but with a buff on havoc rovers (changlis) outro. you would want to really make use of that outro giving incentive to use the 10 seconds onfield for the other character making changli herself getting less onfield time. thats not a main dps in my eyes, not saying shes not dealing good dmg. its just a different style of character.
This is why that change nerf chalcaro/yinlin combo, but then again not everyone like to play like that
Changli get it even worst, because encore is so much easier to use that strat than chalcaro (encore outro literally stay on field for quite a long time) making their combo not only very strong but easy to pull off.....

I believe that when we get better Coordinate attackers playing Jinshi will be even more funny and strong. I would go for Jinshi.
from the inital tests i saw around in the first 2 weeks of the game, defense is calced similar to genshin and HSR. even if its roughly the same and i dont know the exact way they do in in wuwa, that 15% def ignore is basicly +15% dmg increase. so its a bit more simpler to think about what these def ignore/reductions are in both current and later.
Deff ignore is not element resist
@@shaka2tu i never said it was. defense is calced as a level scaling mechanic that is added with resistance. equal level is 50% dmg reduction, that i do know is the case. and the rough calcs says it increases and decreases with level at a vary similar rate as genshins. ignoring 15% of defense is actually 15%-17.6% damage increase compared to if there was no def ignore
@@drantino
A 15% DEF ignore does not equal a 15% damage increase. The actual increase depends on the specific DEF values involved and typically results in a smaller percentage increase in damage.
it will NEVER give you 15% more dmg as a result.
@@shaka2tu even if im wrong on the rough number, doing math on the few multis that people have approximatly think its actually more around 10% in most cases of the attacker being 10 lvls below. but the formula in question involves
(attackers level+flat value)/((attackers lvl+flatvalue)+(defenders lvl+flat)*def reduction))
enemys defense is always caled by that level + flat value. and vary rarely do they ever modify it in genshin, the boss even on custimizable difficulty is the only one i can recall ever being able to know about a direct modifier. wuwa might have fun with this as a modifer on things in the future, not sure.
and a level 90 attacker attack a level 65(65.194... to be more exact assuming the formula ive found is correct) with 15% def reduction is actually a 15% damage increase. so yes it is possible to get a 15% dmg increase.

Changli's weapon is sword while Jinshi's weapon is broadblade.
It’s up to you
Jinhsis weapon is around 13-18% better than jiyans.
