Sentry the Defiant, Domino the Destitute, Hollywood the Cracked, and for suuure Gravity's Union boiiiii
Afterman had so many good songs on it.
Smithysmithin Ffffuuuuccccckkkk Hollywood. Lol. I can't stand the chorus. The rest are solid songs.
stokesmagote s :\
Careful overdoing all the epic tracks all in a row. Pretelethal as a leading track sets the tone greatly, and songs like Mother of Men remind me of the essential cool-off filler tracks like those in Good Apollo. As for his clean (and high) vocals, 2s my Favorite 1 shows it off well and kind of gives you a taste for where their last album went with The Island and such.
P.S. looooove the chorus in Hollywood the Cracked - If you like his really early Shabutie voice, that is.
wrv341 i love Hollywood The Cracked haha. All of it. I feel like other then Gravitys union, my favorites are the 5 Key Entities.
I'm THE biggest coheed fan there is. Many tattoos. I love to see people react to their songs. Huge song, amazing band. And highly underrated.
the Afterman Albums are legitimately wonderful- dreamlike rock operas about death, regret, and making things right. They sound absolutely gorgeous, to boot.
Dude I love how hyped you are getting listening to this.
yeahhh coheed! my favorite band! i lost my shit when i first heard this song.
Hell yea I haven’t heard this band back in the old days, when Welcome Home was a banger. His voice is giving me mad nostalgia!!
One Among The Fence
Two, two among the fence...
I’ve got a huge Coheed tattoo that says “One Among The Fence.”
them space vibes boi
My hype for this record has ascended into the stratosphere
Gravitys Union is a must for you Tru!!!!
Domino the Destitute / Gravity’s Union / Sentry The Defiant / Key Entity Extraction III: Vic the Butcher / The Audience
Here is the request for EVERY coheed song ever... thanks! Good shit
Good Apollo Vol 2 is an amazing album and given the background of what the band was going through at that point in their career you cant help but sit back and applaud. It carries very little similarities to previous albums but the story is still there, definitely should give it a listen.
Jakob Mounts if i'm not mistaken for i what i' ve got he didn't like anything from the band after this album.
After all nwft is also a "Good Apollo" Album.
NWFT is actually my least favorite Coheed album.
Good shit just heard this yesterday glad you did this one. Exciting time for coheed fans
Best song they've done in years
Jeff life finds a way Goldblum have you heard their 2 most recent they're amazing
Welcome home by Coheed and Cambria was always my favorite
Thanks for doing some Coheed! If you've been out of the loop for them lately, I highly reccomend Gravity's Union, Domino the Destitute from Afterman, and The Running Free from NWFT.
Sentry the Defiant by the same band is absolutely amazing
I've been consistently listening to Coheed for the past 20 years and I got chills from the first 30 seconds of the track. Coheed back to doing prog better than ever.
Idgaf what they throw out it's fucking amazing I love every single album so much I can't pick
Geri Tatum you are awesome
Hearing this got me so pumped, nostalgia and all!
So glad they're coming up with new stuiff, one of my favorite band, they never disappoint!
I haven't been this pumped for a record since GAIII. Fuck I'm hyped!
Coheed is my favorite band of all time so seeing another person who was a big ran reacting to this was awesome
Hell yes! I gotta tell you, if you haven’t looked into both the Afterman albums, you must. I’m particular partial to Descension but, to be honest, they’re both incredible. I’d love to see a react to some songs from those albums!!!
Definitely check out these tracks: Key Entity Extraction 1, Gravity’s Union, Away We Go. I could go on, but these are just a few. I’m sure others will recommend some fucking bangers too 🔥
Gravity's union is definitely my favorite off those albums
Jose Ruiz-Agosto yes! Idk what it is about that song
Jaime Feliciano its coheed that's what it is about lmao, honestly anything coheed is just amazing "caged, locked in perpetual motion" fucking love that track
Jose Ruiz-Agosto I fucking love that song, the first time I heard it the shivers going down my spine were crazy. Such a powerful tune
I’m the Hugest coheed fan man Thanks for reacting to this 🤘🤘
I love how the engines pulse with the base kick and snare drum
Searched a reaction for this video not knowing what or if anything would show up, so glad to see it was you mate.
No world for tomorrow is and will always be my favorite album
For sure check out their double album "The Afterman" and the concept behind it. MANY bangers and the story is fucking amazing. Thanks for the great time getting to watch a fellow fan reacquaint themselves with Coheed!
One of my favorite bands of all time.
Do another Coheed reaction man choose one of these
-Willing well l : fuel for the feeding
-The dark scentencer
-Willing well ll : from fear through the eyes of madness
-Welcome home
-In keeping secrets of silent Earth 3
-A favor house Atlantic
-The crowing
-No world for tomorrow

-Delirium trigger
-Deranged
-The gutter

-Pearl of the stars
-Dark side of me
-Grave diggers and gun slingers..
This is all I could think of.. all my favorites I can't choose
First video of yours I've seen. Loved that you revisited Coheed. If you want to dive back in, check out the albums No World for Tomorrow and Afterman. I think you'll appreciate the evolution of Coheed. Big props on the video!
Love everything about this Video!!! Cheers! Got my blood pumping in the Dusk.
Epic. Just EPIC!!!
I loved all their albums man. I can't really pick one. I love your channel, keeps me up with great bands. Keep your videos coming their great.
This track is so beast. Can't wait for more details on the new album
thanks for this video it was a treat
fit for a king - tower of pain
Afterman Ascension is my favorite album with Good Apollo IV and In Keeping Secrets both in close second.
I never got into Coheed. But fuck, this song is SO FUCKING GOOD.
Both The Afterman albums are great, Year of the Black Rainbow is okay but not my favorite.
Astra Sullivan "the gutter" is pretty amazing
Hey Truant! Both your dear friends over at A&P Reacts and Ruben Bujis has reacted to one suggestion and all of them were amazed by that specific suggestion as well. Would love to see your reaction. I can allready PROMISE you that you will be amazed by it as well. Truly a masterpiece. It is: Eye of the Enemy - The Shift.
Cheers,
William
Saw them live in the early 2000's with Thrice and Thursday. Its hard to believe they have been around this long.
Domino the destitute for sure!
They are not back bro, they NEVER left!!!
Great stuff man, you get the hype going!
Gravity’s Union, The Hard Sell, Domino, Sentry the Defiant are all amazing songs from The Afterman albums. Check them out!
My favourite is In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3
Hey Truant! I'm a huge coheed fan and I'd love to let you know what you should check out from them since Good Apollo. If you're into this epic stuff, definitely check out No World For Tomorrow, The End Complete, Here We Are Juggernaut, Domino the Destitute, and Atlas. Year of the Black Rainbow, the Afterman albums, and The Color Before the Sun, as albums, won't have what I think you're looking for in terms of that old Coheed sound. But yeah, check out the songs I mentioned. Cheers man!
IN FLAMES - WHEN THE WORLD EXPLODES
They opened with this last night in Dallas and it was unreal 👊
Same. I cut off after good apollo. But I love them just the same. This song in particular, the beggining of it reminds me of the beginning of the first 3 albums. And that's because Josh is behind those keys. I mean if course claudia and travis are still there. But this nostalgic feeling in melody is because of that old piano sound. And that's thanks to Josh. Best day of my life was seeing them live in seattle after Josh came back. Made my life.
Josh didnt do the beginning keys, but he did the end, but Josh definitely brings something undeniable to the band. He has more to do with the sound than anyone can imagine.
Idk, I live No world for tomorrow, and Josh wasn't in that one.
Vic the Butcher, Gravity's Union and Domino the Destitute are all pretty epic and reminiscent of their older stuff imo... cheers
Love that shit!! Can’t wait till October 5th!!!
Gravity's Union!
Domino the Destitute should be the first you listen! Very proggy, spacy, epic song like The Dark Sentencer
ya boi!!! subscribed! sentry the defiant domino the desitute and the auidence all good new coheed shit sorry i can't spell anything cheers!
My fave Coheed album(s) regardless of what others may think, is probably tied between Year of the Black Rainbow, and The Color Before the Sun
As a fan, I would recommend you listen to The Afterman double album IN ITS ENTIRETY. It’s super cohesive. Very few tracks to throw out here. From the remainder of the discography, check out Here We Are Juggernaut and Guns Of Summer from Year of the Black Rainbow, No World For Tomorrow, Gravemakers and Gunslingers, and The Hound (of Blood and Rank) from No World For Tomorrow, and Eraser, Here To Mars, and The Audience from The Color Before The Sun. (TCBS is the most recent album and diverges from the concept... sort of.)
Welcome Home is a classic for my generation.
Yesss boiiiii coheed and cambria 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gravemakers & Gunslingers. No World For Tomorrow. Domino the destitute. Dark Side of Me.
Check out Key Entity Extraction I: Domino the Destitute, that’s one of my favourite Coheed songs to date
Post-Good Apollo, check out Unheavenly Creatures or Old Flames. They are both from the same album as The Dark Sentencer.
didnt know ur channel existed. see you talk about and react to my all time favorite band. fuck it ill sub.
Good Apollo will probably always be my favorite album. But yeah man Domino the destitute definitely is a bad ass song if you haven't heard it.
--> blessthefall CUTTHROAT
Gravity's Union; Domino the Destitute; and Here we are now juggernaut are the newer Coheed songs to check out, IMO
Second Stage Turbine Blade. THE ENTIRE ALBUM DUDE!!!
Prof Membrane all of their albums! Lol. But yes, Second Stage is excellent
They got so much better as time went on. With like one exception.
Band has two new singles after this
Unheavenly Creatures
The Gutter
Domino the Destitute, Gravity’s Union, Sentry the Defiant, The Broken, The Hard Sell, The Audience...you’ve missed a lot of great stuff!!
Never been a massive fan of them.but after that very very fooking impressed Boi... Wow
"Mother Superior", "Far", anything from The Afterman. Maybe "Atlas" as well
I´d really like a reactionvideo from you on domino the destitute!!! Thats the best song I´ve ever heard of any band!!
I saw you did a video of Dance Gavin Dance and I just revisited them and thought you should give their latest a listen Count Bassy. It's my new favorite of theirs so far!
Just check out everything. It’s seriously all good
If you like this and good Apollo the afterman double album is definitely one to check out. No world for tomorrow isn't bad either. Black rainbow and color before the sun are definitely a different direction for the band. It's not bad imo, though I know some who'll beg to differ, but it just comes down to taste.
I would suggest In keeping secrets,Welcome home or The Crowing! But i'm glad you already listen to these masterpieces
and about my favorite album for sure got to be... ALL OF THEM!
From their The Afterman albums, check Sentry the Defiant and Domino the Destitute for their newer school, and Gravity's Union for something more oldschool. Their last album can be skipped pretty much.
Cedric Joost There was a video I saw yesterday where a guy said Afterman is their worst work. I was like “Hello?”
For those that don't require the sci-fi concept lyrics to enjoy Coheed, I quite enjoyed their last album. Particularly Island, Atlas, The Audience, Ghost. I really loved all the songs, except You've Got Spirit Kid was just okay.
definitely listen to domino - great song
Their last album was great, just not a part of the concept
Cedric Joost I second this! Definitely check out these three. If you want a prog epic in a similar style to this, go for Domino. But if you want a straight up banger then go for Gravity's Union; that song goes hard.
The more I look at that spaceship the more I see Johnny #5.
Trivium - The Sin And The Sentence
Favorite album: No World For Tomorrow
Gravemind - Lifelike
Crown Magnetar - Eyes of Discontent
Bound In Fear - Merciless
Gravemakers and gunslingers, in the flame of error, vic the butcher, gravity's union, domino the destitute, eraser. I'd go in that order as it's at least one song per album after good apollo in order. I it'll give you an idea of the evolution
Key Entity Extraction V: Sentry The Defiant and The Hard Sell. Both off The Afterman: The Descension.
I know your a Leprous fan, so you should check out their new song Golden Prayers. It’s just audio but you should still check it out!
Crippled Black Phoenix - Scared and Alone
Sylosis - Mercy
Sylosis - Out From Below
Propagandhi - A Speculative Fiction
If you haven't listened to Sentry the Defiant yet, that should be the next track you check out
Sentry the defiant will give you a chub
Seeing these comments referring The Afterman, is there no love for Number City? :)
Delirium Trigger Buddy. Listen to it a few times. It’ll stick to ya. Off the album The Second Stage Turbine Blade. 🤟
Bleeding Through - Fade into ash
Ever get the new album??
Or even- between the buried and me - Mordecai
Great song
Been a fan since I was 11 25 now. Check out the song Mother’s of Men. Best song on the afterman albums.
Gravity’s Union or Sentry The Defiant!
New Fit For a king- tower of pain
New Erra coming soon, get on that shit
Source?!!
