Hi David, This setup looks great for my needs, however I can't find the vertical clamp on my normal suppliers. Do you know who has it in the nordic region (I live in Sweden)? /Mattias
Its not been an issue so far and I havent used any ice or freezer blocks so far but they are options. Failing that remove the tap and then add the lid between beers. It takes 5 seconds.
Thanks for the video! I was thinking of a jockey box or a similar solution to get my kegged beer on a tap for quite a while. I ended up building a wooden stand that perfectly accommodates a 9liter jolly keg in a neopren jacket and a 2kg co2-bottle. Above the keg there is a panel where my beer tap is mounted and a flap which provides easy access to the beer and gas lines. I can swap out the tap for my counter pressure bottle filler, so it's a dual purpose stand. The side panels and the front where the tap is mounted have laser engraved beer / hop / barely ornaments. The neopren jacket is enough to keep the keg cool for a couple of hours. I keep my thick OD 9,5mm beer line short (30cm). The tap I use has a long compensator and I do not have any foaming issues.
This may be a silly question however for the gas side could you fill a smaller oxebar or PET bottle with gas within working PSI eg say 40psi then push beer out directly without regulator ? Possibly have a kegland flow control ball lock liquid fitting to regulate flow ?
If you don't have a regulator you may as well just put the 40psi straight into your keg as the pressure (and possibly liquid) between the 2 vessels would normalise. Then you're stuck dispensing over-carbed beer.
@bulldog9708 I just have to say that you should use a regulator for the best and the safest of results. Get a good one like I mentioned in the video and it will last for many years.
Nice 😃 also to hear the intro song extended, as in the old days🥰
Thank you , yes for me too! It was more of it that before also 🍻🍻🍻

Great to hear. The vertical clamp is very close to release in Sweden.
I guess the only problem is not being able to keep the lid on and serve

Since warm air rises, this is unlikely to be a major issue, unless it's a gusty day or there's direct light on your kegs... But yes, that's a shame!
Its very easy and fast to put the tap back in box to close the lid, should you need to but ive not needed to do not yet.
Great timing!! I have been thinking about something like this for the summer! Looks very easy for sure!
Great to hear Alan, sure is easy yes 🍻🍻🍻
I think this, plus a pop bottle with a little regulator on the outside to put out the liquid would be great.
You could go that way, it depends on the space you have left in the cooler after adding the beer kegs and everything else.
Thanks for the video!

Great, sounds interesting, thanks for sharing 🍻🍻🍻
Love the "wife Friendly" comment 6.08
Haha, I could not resist it 😂🤣😎🍻
I made a multi tap version (larger cooler) which works great.
Awesome, plenty of ways to go here for sure.
Is it possible to adapt this to use 5l aluminium mini-kegs?
Sure, the other parts remain the same, as long as you have ball lock fittings on those kegs already.
Thanks again.
Cheers 🍻🍻🍻

@user-kn4vw7bw2v Yes, for sure :) Thanks for commenting :)
Great video! Do you think a 360 mini regulator with sodastream would fit inside the cooler? Maybe if its abit tilted?
Its possible, though not with the cooler I use. You would need extra space.
@@DavidHeathHomebrew thanks!
🍻🍻🍻
Oops @ 4:04 your gfx are offline
Hi, thanks for letting me know but I have checked the video and do not see anything at this point?
Very handy :)
Cheers Paul, its a great set up for sure 🍻🍻🍻
Honestly I would just use a picnic tap and skip the nukatap mini portion of the build.
You sure could but the pour is much better this way.
I think that's the kinda rig I want for ski season
Why do you say that Patrick?
Nice setup!
Thank you, its nice and budget and easy but it works very well :)
