I have watched at least 4 of these Amorim tactical analysis videos since the announcement (mostly from bigger YT channels) but not one of them has analysed it the way you have. The good and the bad of the 343. The tactical flexibility and ability to adapt to in-game changes. This is why you are the best and deserve more than the 70k subs that u currently have!
Scarlett is waaay better than Goldbridge. Goldbridge just degrade his subscribers. Doesn't have anything to say but repeating himself, & relying to Fabrizio all the time.
Scarlet Report and Statman Dave Both provide Interesting, informative and Highly detailed analysis and no waffling or personal agendas against Players.
Portuguese football league and English league is almost the same as compared to the Netherlands eredivisie. Look at the previous meeting between English teams and Portuguese teams, Portuguese teams give English teams a hard time
This is the analysis I wanted to hear. The difficulties of his approach in a game and willingness to adapt from challenging opposition and their tactics. Everyone praising the 343, but you did the right thing, analyse the frailty of it. Can he adapt, can he surprise with something different, can he make the players believe in what he has in his mind? Those are the questions
That is not how you should ask the question..... The question is will the players be ready to adapt in times to every situation on the pitch..... Imagine him telling Rashford that he doesn't need to score just for him to be the ball carrier.....? Let's wait and see....
@@hashdere I'm talking about Scarlet reports not Amorim. We were excited about Ten hag but unfortunately it didn't work out as we hoped. Now, it's a new dawn and along side a new hope. If it works out, good. If it doesn't, we move to the next. One day we will get it right. That's an approach that has always worked for big teams. Problem is we take too long to pull the plug when it's clear it won't work.
Eth shot himself in the foot . See how this guy brings in an extra midfielder. When ETH did that at the end of last season we got better. But guess what he went back to what made us lose in the first place. He was just too stubborn ...even pep had to adapt
We anticipated ten hag this way when he was signed there was a tactical analysis video like this the rest is history for man united even if you bring guardiola with these players he will not do much.
Bro I understand you but the players aren't the problem but rather the tactical approach. Every player can be better if given the right tutor. Even we as fans knows what a coach should do to change a game sometimes but our coach will always be adamant to do what's not working and will not use different approach.
@@Wemcotechso when ten hag spend two years and winning all match , why are you not complaining about his tactics then , now the players are old and sluggish
We’ve been waiting for an Amorim vid!! Like the comments say, what we would like in an ideal environment would be to please try and find a consistent way of bringing us content frequently (1-2x weekly). Nobody delivers content like this quite like you do. That being said, we don’t know your personal situation and should learn to be patient. Thank you for all the work you do to bring us content!
Great video Scarlett - yes i share the same frustration but i also consider that we've not got the personell on the bench to adapt easily or play different systems (we do on paper but in reality they're literally not available). I understand that the gaffer has to take the stick for the results but i just don't think it was right sacking him until after January when we can reinforce properly.
@@chrisolekachi7252 Exactly Chris; which is why I'm not sure how a new manager is going to really improve the situation...he could get lucky hopefully if we start converting chances (I also just want us to just win anyhow) but in terms of tactical improvements, with the fitness status/quality of those players we have, I'm still unconvinced about how smart letting ETH go is
@@walepawl4696 I wish Amorin well coz I need us to win and not end up miserable. But sacking ETH when the project just started is as good as not trusting him in the first place
That's what I keep wondering about INEOS, why give the manager a new contract then you go behind him searching for replacements. Even the players will know he's on a time bomb. I just hope INEOS sets the right environment so that these bunch of players don't throw Amorim under the bus after 2 years.
I thought you have gone to the moon or honeymoon :) Welcome back . There is so much on the net about his system is similar to Ten Hag's... and the players are suitable for his system...we shall see
Having just seen his interview with the Portuguese press, I could not help but think he would make the game more fun for the players once again. I don't know what it was like under ETH, whom I favoured, but I think he may have been too disciplined and took the fun out of it. After all the game is played for fun.
This appointment has obviously been in the works for some time. Buying two centrebacks and getting Ugarte in when there were cheaper and/or better alternatives available. INEOS have obviously had Amorim in mind althogh Im not sure how Zirkzee fits unless he plays as a split striker opposite Hojlund in a 3-4-1-2 but that would mean them both having to maintain a high intensity press along with the no 10 and the wingbacks I do think playing 3 at the back with wingbacks makes a lot of sense with our current personnel but we do need a reliable replacement for Shaw.
Agreed. Conte used the 343 formation and won the league with Chelsea in his debut season. It's a good, reliable and with good flexibility to adapt - triangulation, loading or use the width with wing backs. But it's not a system that is known in our history, we a used to a swashbuckling, attacking and playing with speed and flair. And further, we don't have the players currently to play the system.
Thank you Scarlet. I have wondered for a long time why ETH's tactics didn't work regardless that he had a good reputation and relationship with the players. Clearly, he just couldn't adapt. He was rigid with playing from the back, and that opened the team to continued pressure which he couldn't quickly change tactics midgame. I think his game management is poor and that consistently costs the team. He probably didn't expect the Premier League to be that daunting and intensive. Thank you for.making this clear with your succinct yet elaborate tactical analysis.
11:36 Facts! Someone who can come into the league, access the league as a whole & establish his team's non-negotiables that he needs to build his tactics on top of.
It would be good to post that video on that West Ham in match analysis. Especially after the second half. I was also telling some friends that my issues with EtH is his lack of tactical awareness and flexibility during matches... Aside playing players out of position while the specialist are rested
Amorim bringing his team is a master stroke we should not underestimate. 5 heads are better than 1. Either ETH needed help and didn't get it or he preferred working alone. Either way.... Amorim's team aligns with what Arsenal and City do today, where they have a team on the bench managing a game. GGMU
I think what will make this appointment very different is that Amorim is hired under a proper football leadership, while ETH was recruited without such backing. What INEOS has done ever since their takeover had shown a great level of competence and efficiency. Clearly they have a direction where they want to go and how they will get there. Of course you can still pick on things that they might have missed here and there, but please look at the big picture. The best thing is, we no longer put all of our hopes for a united revivial on one man, the manager. Amorim may or may not work out, but i am quite sure that the club and the team would still make positive progress regardless.
Hey brother! Will you please make a condensed tactical analysis video on the 4 matches managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy to explore his style of managing, even though he might leave Utd? I hope you will.
Honestly, it might be worth it for you to take the risk and go full-time. Invest in the channel, up your production, and you're head and shoulders above the rest. Great video.
Mate, you can blame the manager all you want, buh the frontline missed so many chances. Our players fail to execute the BASICS. Yes the manager is at fault, buh is he responsible for all the mess though

Amad can play the Braganca role because he’s good with the ball at his feet and is press resistant and has good creative awareness. Just needs to be trusted.
