Yes it was Harry. Think the weather really helped to show off what a fantastic setting it was. I had been in the North of Irleand for a week and was travlling home via Belfast, so of course I had to combine it with a bit of parkrun tourism 😄
Welcome to Northern Ireland Chris. I haven’t done the parkrun, but there is an inter club cross country race that goes up the hill on the left through the trees for a number of laps. Great crack in the wintertime, nice n muddy🙂
Blaming the big Ulster Fry for getting smoked on the home straight Chris, good excuse 😜😂😂👍🏻 Glad you enjoyed your wee country, the weather was terrible last week though ☔️☔️☔️
Haha - it was definitely an unwise move to eat so much for the breakfast. But the visit to Stormont parkrun was the highlight t my short stay in Belfast - really enjoyed it.
That's a shame. Only made my mined up a couple of days before and even then wasn't sure whether it was going to tip down with rain but fortunately the weather was perfect.
Great video quality (together with the music), Chris. Well done 👍 And it also looks like a nice parkrun! Oh man, so many interesting locations to do a parkrun and my life is just too short to visit them all 😜
I knew it looked familiar!!! Just didn't think you had gone abroad. All that traveling for a park run 🤣😜 great video as always Chris. Looks like the running is back on track now. Time for another 50 miler I think 😉 keep up the great work buddy! 😎🤘🏻
Thanks Ben. I was in the North West of Ireland visiting family and when I'm travelling I always like to get in a bit of parkrun tourism. Slowly but surely the fitness is coming back. The race to to Manchester Marathon start has begun!
Great video Chris especially showing different parkruns, that’s something I will start doing, I’m getting fed up with dogs getting in the way, I was tripped twice this week, I’m sorry but dogs should be stopped
Thanks Steve 👍😃 Gives me a good reason to visit some new parkruns. I normally find that dogs on short leads are ok but if the leads are too long and the course is narrow, it can be a bit of a problem.
Hope parkrun returns to Scotland soon 🤞 We went for breakfast early and with parkrun starting at 09:30 in NI, I thought that would be plenty of time but in reality running on a full cooked breakfast, probably isn't the best thing to do no matter how long you leave it 😄
Looks like a really nice route Chris, love that you’ve just popped over to Northern Ireland

Wow absolutely brilliant Chris love it amazing footage thank you so proud that's my home run great volunteers people!!
Thanks Patricia 👍😀
You have a fantastic home parkrun and the volunteers were awesome! 👏👏👏
In the forest section, keep an eye out for several carved wooden sculptures - fox, beaver, rocking chair! etc.
Oh, very nice 👍
I shall be moving to Belfast very soon and I'm definitely going to run the this parkrun along with the ormuea Park run👍
Good stuff, I really enjoyed this one.
An interesting video about running. Great job. 👍🏻😊
Thank you 👍😃

Thanks George 👍😃
It certainly looked like there were quite a few nice trails. Wish I'd have been there longer to do a bit more exploring.
You choose lovely places to run👍
Thank you 👍
Stunning parkrun location and a quality video 👍
Thanks Chris 👍😃
It really was a lovely location, glad I picked this parkrun for during my trip.

@@HereWeAreRunning we’ve never done Stormont but my wife’s friend does it every weekend, must give it a try 👍🏻
@@soupyruns9709 Definitely, it's a really nice one, especially when the weather is good.
Well done Chris … enjoy your break. That’s was a lovely bit of footage 👍
Thanks Michael 👍😃
Back home now but was a nice way to round off my week away.
Awww man, this is my local parkrun i do, wish i would of knew you where over..
That's a shame. Only made my mined up a couple of days before and even then wasn't sure whether it was going to tip down with rain but fortunately the weather was perfect.
That looked really fun! Stunning footage as well, so sharp and colourful 😍
Thanks. Yes, I always enjoy taking part in parkrun especially a course like this one.
Great spot for a park run 👍🏻
Thanks, I really enjoyed taking part at Stormont 👍

Thanks Jo, you should add this one to your list 👍
Great video Chris! Loved Stormont Parkrun when I did it last year…
It's a great location, isn't it. And I was so lucky with the weather.
@@HereWeAreRunning true about the weather! It’s not often it’s drier over there. I’ve got soaked doing parkrun a few times when in NI!
What a great location for a run!
Yes indeed, a really nice setting for a parkrun.
That looks a top parkrun Chris 👍 I've not been to N Ireland, hopefully one day though 👍🏃
Thanks Martin, yes it was. Worth adding to your list of places to go 👍
Wow, was there really 50,000+ runners there that day? Haha, a great location by the looks of it.
🤦♂️
I'm impressed that they worked out who the 50,000th finisher was, when they crossed the line but disappointed that it wasn't me 😂😂😂

@@HereWeAreRunning our parkrun is very narrow at the start, I’ve recently followed you on Strava, hint hint 🤣
I miss Parkrun. Its still not running up here in Scotland. I've no idea how you managed that after a fry up 😅 Did you wait a good few hours? 🤢
Hope parkrun returns to Scotland soon 🤞

@@HereWeAreRunning I do love a fry up though! Can be your reward after next time 😄
