My daughters birth certificate had mention of both parents. When I called service Canada for clarification they asked me to send long form as that is attested so I forwarded both the copies. Hope this helps

Yes the other parent can provided they meet the requirement given. If you’re the parent or legal guardian that is applying on behalf of a child, you cannot sign as guarantor on the child’s application. Every part in the application that requires the signature of the parent, it does not let me sign the document electronically. I always sign my pdf documents using the e-sign feature on my Mac but for some reason this PDF document that I have downloaded from the link you mentioned has some limited permissions that does not let me sign the document electronically. Are we supposed to take a print out and sign the document in person at the Service Canada or the passport office?

When it come to submission any of the parents can submit the application. Not a mandate that both parents need to submit/primary only can submit. Since you are the primary applicant you can carry the application and if not carry application with a letter from primary applicant. Hope this helps

I took photo at Walmart. You cannot take photo at home for Canadian passport I have mentioned in video the reason I got while I spoke to officials on phone. For OCI there is no restrictions except specifications.

In absence of QR code it should still be accepted only thing is that QR code makes transfer easy or else manual entry need to be made by the operator receiving application.

+jas randhawa I will share how it happened in my case. Canada post dropped a card in my box with address where I had to go with ID proof and collect. This location was closest to my home and while it said 15 days I got it in 10 days. Sometimes it takes a little more but should be on its way. Hope it’s in your hand soon.
