What do YOU think is the best way to treat bluebottle sting? 👀
I’m with H! Stay out of the water!
Stay out of water!
I’m from the USA 🇺🇸 NJ I love ❤️ this channel but I think The best way is to stay out the water you will never get stung if you’re out of the water 💧
the green whistle lollll
What ever the life guard says
“The longer I work in this job, the longer I realize people… welp..” enough said 😂
Came here looking for this comment 😂
H is everything. 😍😂
@@nicaparis4835 i’m kinda confused, i’ve heard ‘H’ quite a lot is that his real name or has he just got a shortening? Just wondering cuz one letter is a common name
@@Annie-un8el yes his real name is Harry but H is a nickname. I personally don't know if there's more to it then it just the beginning letter of his first name.
But yeah basically H is his nickname.
@@nicaparis4835 exactly 😂
Props to the cameraman who helped one of the guys in trouble, that wasn’t even part of their job and they were willing to help them out. 😊👍
God bless them❤️
The fact this needs to be brought to attention is unsettling...
@@leaflet1686 yep. Props for not standing on the beach and filming someone dying.
@@tysonleis8489 They would normally want to help but sometimes they are not allowed I don’t think
@@leaflet1686 they could get arrested since they might not be a trained professional
To Whoever finds this comment, I wish you the Best life"💙
Okay
thank you- you too my friend
You too!💙💙
I needed that, thank you
Nice.
I freaking love how the cameraman keeps helping people out! These days a lot of people would do anything for a “good shot”, including letting someone nearly, or literally, die.
They probably have a background in the water or they wouldn't have that job. Honorable for sure tho
Only in bad tv shows like super nanny. These are all honorable people doing their job to help others.
Effectivement, il font un travail héroïque
@@zugdsbtngizudsgbnudsdsoiu what happened in super nanny?
i strongly disagree... who would? Names in specific. No generalizations
The amount of pain I felt in my heart when I saw the dog got stung
I was so sad when the dog got stung
I know, right! I felt so bad for the poor doggy.
Right!😭
💯 owner’s fault 🤨
They are so helpless in that situation, it’s so sad!☹️🥺
You can tell they are Australian when they willingly put venomous bluebottles on their arms for fun
That one was an American 😄
You can tell they’re Aussie when they think of putting Portuguese Man o’ Wars on an American’s arm. 😂
@@DiosaDe1So1 It was a bluebottle 😄
@@dabbydabbydoo same thing, just different name
@@dabbydabbydoo they literally say that is the same😉
The positive side for the boy who doesn't make the cut is that his training won't go to waste, he can still help people in need and keep himself safe.
@alida flus They're employed by the local council, so they'll be comfortable with a roof over their head.
"The longer I work in this job, the more I realize people are.. whelp (shakes head)." had me rolling.
Time pls
I came here in 2020 in the mids of personal and global misery and from there on this channel has truly been a light in some dark days and times thank you to everyone involved creating it!
Global misery? I must have missed it. Nothing changed for me because I don't watch the news so England had been under house arrest for over a month before I even found out about it. And after I found out I didn't care at all and lived my life as normal. Everyone had the choice but most failed spectacularly in the largest compliance tests ever conducted on earth. But don't worry, the "monkey pox" scamdemic is about to start....🙉🙈🙊
Is bondi rescue over ?
@@eringribben3176 no
The choir on the beach was beautiful! What a magical moment 🥰
What was it for
@@jennifermoran6637 For fun, because they felt like doing it.
Absolutely beautiful ❤😊
I felt bad for the poor kiddos who got stung but I legit almost started crying when the poor dog was shown. True heroes helping her and everyone else out!!
I mean, the dog wouldn't have been stung if the owner just followed the rules!
I wonder if the owner wasn’t aware of him being stung
that dog was jus asking for attention, i doubt they were in much pain (note how they walk away just fine moments after)
Same
can you guys do a special about the camera men? what qualifications they have etc as they are also saving people and no doubt spend alot of time in the water with you lads
@mikea hiooi ...no... that's the bluebottles. The camera men are called something else. Heroes?
I was about to cry when I see the dog lifting it’s paw up and crying I was literally about to cry I felt so bad 😭
3:23 I can't be the only one hoping for the bluebottles to do their number on this guy
that american telling his friends the lifeguard just "offered to take him on a ride" rather than accepting the fact he couldn't swim and the lifeguard helped him is.....interesting
I noticed that also...
Pretty stereotypical of a white American male.
Doesn’t want to appear “weak” in front of his male friends. All about playing to the male gaze & maintaining the godly masculinity.
@@a.evelyn5498 LOL, What is typical about it?
I came to find this exact comment LOL
Maxie training an extra year and having a great attitude about is a testament of how good he can be. If he was put through at that age, it wouldve only hindered his career and maturity. I know i wouldnt trust or rely on someone to save me if they were too playful or illogical
Maybe calling them Portuguese Man o’ Wars might make these visitors take the threat they pose more seriously. Its a scary name compared to Blue Bottle. Doesn't most of the world know them as Portuguese Man o’ Wars, we call them that in the UK.
We call them the same in Ireland. Thankfully we don’t see them very often as they don’t like cold water🤣.
Name isn't going to make an ounce of difference!!
We call them Man O’ Wars here in the US as well. Makes em’ sound way more dangerous.
People are people and will do what ever they want. Some people just don’t care
Love that doggo, spray on his feets and was like yeah sweet.
Lol that lifeguard with a beard is like the stereotypical "done this job for too long" kind of grumpy guys you meet working in a warehouse.
😂😂 he’s gotten in trouble before for not bleeping himself out
Imagine how many sheeple he has to save everyday because they refuse to use any common sense, and he has done it for 20 years.
That music is O Magnum Mysterium by Martin Lauridsen. I could never sing it in choir without tearing up. It's one of my favorite choral pieces ever. Thank you @BondiRescue! It was a blessing to hear it again.
Some songs just speak to your soul 🥰
beautiful song in a beautiful setting. I had to look it up. thanks!
Thank you for this tidbit… absolutely amazing piece set against the rising sun… just breathtaking ❤
He appropriated it from a Gregorian chant.
It's my favourite of Professor Lauridsen's works. I have the sheet music arranged for mezzo soprano
Incidentally, blue bottles/man O war aren't actually jellyfish, theyre whats known as a syphonophore, basically a colony of organisms that work together as if one animal
Dog at beginning:😭😭😭 when he sprays it:🥰🥰🥰
Realz😭🙏
I was more worried about the dog than any of the people 😂
Me as well 🤭
Me too..I love animals...it's basically a toddler in pain and you don't know what's wrong..
Same😂
Dogs are better than them
Same 😂
O Magnum Mysterium sung by a choir at dawn. . . What a beautiful way to start the day on Bondi Beach!
I wasn't sure of the piece of music, but I almost cried regardless. Such a gorgeous sound, on such a gorgeous beach...all the loves
Watching kids walk up with injuries is hard to see. It feels like an act of child neglect to let your kids swim freely when you know there is a warning out for dangerous animals.
Not animal.... People nowadays.
The guy who got “the ride of his life” used the opportunity of possibly drowning to show off to his friends. He thought he was so cool 😂14:58
What a treat! I’ve never seen this episode before! A really good one too!
We're glad you enjoyed it mate 😎
@@BondiRescue Hii! I love your videos
@@BondiRescue said like a true Aussie😂
Yeah so good
since he was ok I can admit the petty in me hopes that student visiting from Washington's friends found this clip and saw he wasn't just "offered a ride in by the lifeguard"...love that the editors put that in
The first & only run in with a jellyfish gave me a prescription for an Epi-pen!
Respect to that one cameraman who went in to help.
This is why I’m terrified to swim in the ocean. But the singing was beautiful
I’m terrified of the ocean not because of Blue Bottles but from sharks. I would be mortified if I had an encounter with a great white shark.
@@vanessastegall it’s so so rare
@@vanessastegall fun fact: if a shark is coming to get you punch it in the nose
@@snuffy.6810 isn’t that how one guy survived a shark attack by punching it straight into the nose.
@@scarletmaye ye
0:27 I live in Australia and I have been to Bondi many times and I know for a fact Bondi beach has never been that peaceful
The beginning gave me goosebumps, its so beautiful
Wasn't that stunning!
It's these videos that push us forward and give up hope for humanity
Yep.
A thing people don’t understand is that walking in water is really hard,it’s as if your running away from a monster in your nightmare. You’re just incredibly slow.
Mate anyone who’s had a bath will know that 😭
Watching the lifeguards rescuing people is awesome. They are so dedicated to helping those in trouble . 👍
We agree!
I agree.
That was a beautiful intro with the choir. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
I applaud Harry's (AKA "H") professionalism in not completing what he wanted to say about people. For my professionals, I like to volunteer my voice to say what's on their mind as a civilian who has freedom of speech.
"People are dumb." Thank you.
Watched Bondi for 2 years and became a lifeguard this summer :)
That’s great good luck!
Love the choir performance that started the day 🥹 back in High School, our choir did the big trip to San Francisco, and we just randomly decided to sing on Pier 39, making a totally impromptu performance for all the people there. It was such a wonderful moment, and brought back such a great memory
We were on a beach in Spain years ago and knew nothing about blue bottles and a man kept shouting at us in Spanish and we had no clue, he literally came into the water and made us get out and tried to explain with his hands and we eventually figured it was something bad and didn't go back in the water
That guy at 4:32, that guy was definitely in pain. 😂😂😂😂
Seamus isn't big enough to be walking like that 🤣
Kudos to that Bondi Cameraman!
props to the camera man getting that close to them just to get good shots for us!
I love the water, especially the beach. I find so much comfort in its unpredictability, like water can be so calm and yet it can also be raging. So I love watching shows like this. I wish I grew up near a beach so I could surf and swim everyday. I live vicariously through all of these people, watch them live the dream.
Bondi rescue + a choir singing O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen is something I never thought I would see but was pleasantly suprised :)
it’s pretty great! Starting to get addicted to watching bondi rescue when I can. Might visit soon when I can actually!
These life guards are so kind, professional and mature. A great group of people. I’m so impressed. Would love to go to this beach. I know I would be very safe!
What a beautiful way to start your day! And then it happens...
Alex & Tom look like mini Harry.
I’m Irish and went to Australia to visit family. Went to Bondi and these were all over the beach! I got too excited and ran in, felt something wrap around my ankle and then a stinging pain shot up my leg. Ran to my mum and she didn’t believe I got stung! (The jellyfish in Ireland sting like nettles) wether or not is was a blue bottle I’ll never know, I always tell people it was but I don’t think it was. Nonetheless, I’m perfectly fine now and got frozen yogurt after.
Oh my gosh at the beginning I though someone had died 💀But a random Quior? That’s pretty cool
4:30 Bro holding in his tears💀
The dogs whimpers tho... 😭😭😢😢😟😟🙁🙁🥺🥺
I’m obsessed with this show after coming across some episodes on facebook of all places LOL
People get stung: 😮
Dog gets stung: 🥺😭
it's cool to see the hopeful trainees, ngl i'm rooting for Kelsey! on a separate note, the twin trainees, Tom and Alex are super cute :)
All is fine until the dog gets stung... Then it's heartbreaking to me...
So youre that foolish to think that dogs are more important than humans? You should feel bad for both
Oof so kids suffering is fine to you ?
I know you're just trying to be quirky and relatable, but you're gross
@@the-og-cerealkillerActually I tend to feel more strongly for animals then I do for adult people.... Probably because animals are completely innocent...also your face is gross.
tbh, its annoying when ppl dont care about the humans and only care for the animals, its my opinion tho.
@@nqvyzii an animal has never hurt me. Humans on the other hand have, many times. Find that annoying
Aw that dog that got stung is so cute
The singing was beautiful, especially combined with the sunrise views.
I was stung by one on my leg when I was five. I can't remember the agony fifty something years later, but I do recall my screaming to this day!
The poor doggo 🐕
A little Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna will always make life better. That was fabulous.
This makes me believe that there is still faith in humanity
you know you’ve been singing too long when you immediately recognize the song at the beginning lol
So glad Maxi got to keep his job.
That sweet little pup though! Poor baby, as a dog owner it's the worst feeling ever when you hear the whining.
Watching the sunrise from the beach is beautiful!! I love to camp on the beach, and enjoy the quiet, and beauty.
What if it was the choir that called the jellyfish over with their beautiful voices. lol.
I love H's no nonsense approach
Yes H was an awesome lifegaurd.
H is 71 now
@@BrianKitching-wv5nh 🤯 wow!!! Hope he's enjoying retirement
"...the more I realize that people are... idiots" ahahahahah
The poor dog was like can you please help the pain go away 🥺🥺
those people singing at the start where so good 😊
watching bondi rescue is a personally trait and lifestyle
The poor puppy 🥺
Pleasantly surprised to hear O Magnum Mysterium at the start of the video
I definitely think the other boy should of got that place he has done such a good job and even retrieved a dead body
When I saw the puppy, my heart melted 🥺🩷
It legitimately might not hurt one person as much as the next. Venom is after all just another chemical substance and in the medical world there can be all ranges of reactions to medicines. Spicy food is another good example.
This is why I get scared whenever I got in the ocean
What a job. And what a place to work. Amazing.
OH!!! I've watched this show before, and when the bluebottle sting was said i was confused, but I live in the UK, and we have a fly called a bluebottle, and it's harmless! Every day is a school day. Lol
People just don’t understand rules of safety , if I see a normal jellyfish I’m basically terrified and I’d never go in the water for the rest of the day . Sometimes people think it’s funny to just ignore signs and have some “ fun “ but their “fun “ leads them to pain . LISTEN TO LIFEGUARDS / SIGNS! 💯
“Wanting to live, but accepting death to save others: that was courage. That was to be Gansey’s greatness.” - Maggie Stiefvater
We need Spongebob and Patrick to gather up all these jellyfish
Literally been stung every x-mas holiday for 4 years in a row up the Sunny Coast, i do really want to visit bondi though
I want to see more of these lifeguard trainees and how they get full lifeguard job
I cant stop watching these videos, Its an addiction lol.
poor pup lol
Ok I've watched so many episodes of this I'm starting to think with an Australian accent lol
That cameraman is a literal life saver
Aww the poor dog that must of hurt super badly
Aww the poor doggie
"Get a bit of culture into you' 'No I'll be 'right' 🤣🤣
"they have no time to put on life jackets"
real intelligent statement there
just beautiful, sunrise and choir
Poor puppers 🥺🥺
I really like bondi rescue beacause the lifeguards are so great at there job and they probably have saved thousands of lives wich I really respect they are so brave
Considering that 'Portuguese man o' war' is actually the international name for the creature, and 'bluebottle' aussie slang, I'm not really surprised if non-aussies don't readily understand what's being meant with the signs. (I mean yeah you can easily understand that it's about jellyfish, but the severity doesn't really translate from the cutesy name)
Absolutley love whay you all doing... anyone working for helping others are my heroes
