    Oh Kate this God loving, homeschooling momma of 8 children loves you!! We live in town in a 3 bedroom house and we bought the lot behind us and converted it to a garden last year. I grew up in the country in a older horse hair plaster farm house, loving Jesus, fixing the fire, doing animal chores, cutting wood, gardening and canning. You’re fireside chats warm my heart! You keep being who Gods made you to be, and May you(we) always remember to keep y(our) eyes on what will matter forever.

    I love making my own tea blends! Nov-March I have Nettle Leaf Powder, Marshmallow Root Powder and Burdock Root Powder as a tea I drink for my immune system and it works Very well for me! Since it's powder, I get a quicker boost by drinking the powders throughout and the last bit at the end vs steeping for the proper length of time to get the best benefit. I just found what works for me. I don't use any sweeteners and I like the earthiness. I do many other blends based on how I feel each time. It's loads of fun to play around. I also use many of the ones you use, including Astragalus. Astragalus is a Super Herb I wish everyone knew about and used. I learned about it from "Herbs for Pets" book by Gregory L Tilford and Mary L Wulff for my dog's health and started with a store bought tincture but then transitioned to everyone using it and bought the root from Mountain Rose Herbs in USA to steep. Thanks for sharing yours. Also, I love your sweater! Where did you get this one? (I love the Etsy Latvia sweaters and Simply Merino sweaters I bought this winter! Your recommendations are spot on!)

    I love making my own teas. Also working on adding to the ones we grow ourselves. Just made 2 different versions of tea for my daughter out of my herb stash to help her clear junk from her lungs and help her lymph system drain.

      @VenisonforDinner  Рік тому

      No sorry, I don't have a class. I won't be doing one as I am not a herbalist, I've just used them a lot/read a lot etc. But thanks for asking!
