if there was a boss battle with the empress this is my idea i like to think that the nyakuza and the lazy paw gang are rivals and bow kid is like the leader of the lazy paw gang. hat kid met her in the metro and they became friends and an all out street war happens at the end of rush hour the lazy paw gang being forced into the maintenance tunnels while the nyakuza rules the metro. and so an all out uprising from the lazy paw gang happens as they fight for freedom from the metro while the nyakuza attempt to push them back into the old maintenance tunnels and keep them there so they cant escape and so that they can get rid of them. hat kid is fighting the empress while all the cats are busy fighting each other with bow kid leading the charge. if only that was what happens , this would be perfect for it as a boss fight , that is what this remix makes me think of just imagine an arena with hat kid and the empress fighting while cats on the side are all trying to kill each other with there claws , fist , feet , bats , hammers , crowbars , wrenches , knifes , bottles , bricks , rocks , and whatever else they can use beat each other with. rocks flying , glass shattering , bones braking , blood spilling. a literal , brutal , gang war. the boss of one gang and a friend of the other boss both in the center of it all the winner takes all the loser forfeits their will to live 9 lives have never been lost so quickly

@@discringydude7698 a year later and im back as for this issue i always thought that a boss battle could have her claw swipe be in the form of a dash attack the attack is already well televised and already takes a moment to hit you so while it would be an instant kill it would also be easy to dodge especially with the time stop hat
after revisiting this i feel i should explain my thought process on the rival gangs concept there are train line maps in the metro that appear to be old and covered in dirt and usually have no working back lights to make them glow and be easily visible , but unlike the other maps that are functioning these old ones say "lazy paw metro" in the cat language just above the name "nyakuza metro" and some that look even older only say "lazy paw metro" on them this tells me that at one point the two gangs were either one whole gang that split apart or that they both at the very least held a mutually agreed set of control over the metro until the nyakuza took full control of it it also seems that those who didnt escape and go back to the alps were left trapped underground in the service tunnels and appear to be kept from leaving by the nyakuza , as the empress states that the nyakuza use those tunnels for "business" and yet the nyakuza cats are not heavily seen in them , while the lazy paw cats are very prevalent through the entire section the lazy paw cats also instantly attack you despite the fact that your with the nyakuza and that their cats dont attack you until the empress specifically tells them to , which seems to indicate that they arent with the nyakuza and are instead actively fighting them when ever they see them as for bow kid being the leader of the lazy paw gang , it just seems to fit thematically , mainly due to bow kid having a very cat themed design for their outfit and the presence of bow kid on the front of the covers on some of the magazines , which seems to indicate that she has a notable following by at least some of the cats and is apparently a major presence in the metro with hat kid and bow kid being friends and with both being the empress main enemies it only seems logical that bow kid would not only know of hat kids abilitys and previous accomplishments but also know that hat kid could potentially be just the person they need and could be the person to help finally turn the tides of this war and be the strength that makes up for the lazy paws low numbers
You might be onto something here, it does sound cool sped up. Still, for this one I wanted to stay true to the feeling of the original, so decided not to change the tempo :D
Awesome cover. I think I may be too impatient to wait for the DLCs to come to consoles/foolishly hopeful that they'll even come to consoles at all. If I were just get some kind of irrefutable confirmation that the console players won't see any DLC, I would happily buy this game a second time for PC. Between the extra content, and especially Party Mode, I am soooo tempted to buy this game again regardless. I have no problem waiting for the DLCs for games like The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth or Enter the Gungeon because those games were designed to be played ad infinitum, even after you've completed and unlocked everything.
