Don't understand why the team aren't getting more media coverage, even at this stage, and why these updates aren't pulling in more views
I agree, for what this has done for the local community and the whole task at hand! It shows how all the unimportant crap is pushed on news services world wide.
all the big sponsors are gone. It shouldn't be like that but it's true
I agree also, for such a landmark event and all the focus since Aussie Invader is still going and Jesse Combs so sadly vanished from amongst us.
The media should be all over this like bees on a syrup spill...
No politics, no cover up, no Brexit, no General Election = No coverage. ! ah, don't you just love "the media".
@@rohanthakrar7599 why is that? This thing has a good shot, and it's already built.
I am in total awe of the level of engineering and technology that the team are employing to make this happen...
“Going Fast” isn’t just a matter of strapping the biggest engine onto a set of wheels!
Good luck guys.... make it happen!
Such a talented team to be all speaking so well telling the story! Go Bloodhound!
Doing Britain proud through hard work and dedication, get that 1000mph and inspire a generation to push further!
I wish these updates were longer but I know you guys are busy doing great work.
Thanks for the update. I hope nammo get the rocket together I can't wait to see this thing break thrust ssc's record
I thought the rockets were already done? Didn't they say some time ago that they will be doing Jet testing only.
Themayseffect The rocket is still in development by nammo the Norwegian company it's not ready to go in the car yet. Andy green said this in an interview a couple of months back. ua-cam.com/video/lLBDqNTW0_A/v-deo.html
Hate to break it to you, but the land speed record attempt will only be happening in 12 months from now. This is initial testing phase up to 500mph with only the jet engine.
Dirk Hoekstra Yeh....if the rocket is finished by then otherwise it could be longer
Looking forward to the 500mph run.👍
Watching the team's progress intently from here in Florida. Wishing all of you the best in accomplishing your individual missions as well as the overall task at hand. Can't wait to see the 500 test and thank you all for showing us your support "poppies". GSTQ !
Love how even the worlds fastest car uses zip ties.
Archie Bagshaw so does the Spacex Starship!
British Engineers, simply the best.
I have a question.
Or two.
So how many miles / kilometers or electrical wiring are in Bloodhound?
How many miles / kilometers of hydraulic line are in Bloodhound?
looking forward to more updates and more speed.....good luck, well done on getting each small step completed...
I goto know how things are on the rear where the erosion is on the wing ,see if they put a little sacrificial winglets or golf ball dimpled plate to defuse the erosion or gone to a synthetic pad or possibly powder coating the plate ,we all know in a sand blaster the later are hard to punch through to get under neath.i defo think deflection helps as like a tank round there's slopping armour so it triples the material being hit
Good luck guys/gals 🇬🇧👍🏼😊
Love the new livery!
What's the status of the rocket development?
And
How much longer will you guys be @ the pancakepan? How many more full power runs?
👍👍👍
Wish I was home to see this
Could you guys break the current record without the rocket engines?
T523 no 500 is about the limit of the EJ200
@@buzzkillington3354 thanks
Seems you keep testing the car at 50mph increments, gradually building speed. But wont this mean the car wears out or breaks before you get to break the record?
Ironing out the kinks and shortfalls one step at a time. They wont unleash it till they're confident all the weak points are sorted
This was videoed on April 11 and just put out today! I didn’t realize we were that far behind on the videos getting posted!👍
If you switch the numbers around you get november 4th which is more correct :-)
Scarface 39 The rest of the world uses d/m/y - it’s basically only the USA with the backwards date format (m/d/y).
This would definitely have been filmed on the 4th of November
Miles Tulett I did not know that!! 😊 thanks
@@scarface-39 The world except USA does it in smallest to largest unit, that is day, month year. When I lived in Boston, USA (not England) this tripped me up a lot and confused my American work colleagues!
If you are getting interference and crossover space your splices, looking at some of your wiring it looks like a dogs dinner, we in Avionics believe in Tempest.
I spy, with my retired military aviation eye: CANON Plug electrical connections, and what looks to me like dry nitrogen connections to prevent arcing in high energy electrical circuits. This is aerospace all the way...
(But try very hard not to bend any of the dratted little pins, if you please)
* This is my twisty little shout out to all of the "CREW DOGS" making this big Puppy run from behind the scenes
YOU LOT MADE THE CAR!!!
Keep up the good work guys and gals, I’m with you all the way.
Back in the day 500 mph would be nutso. No sweat for bloodhound!
This should be on British news TV every night instead of the bull they want us to listen to. Great vids guys & all the best for ramping up the speed each time.👍🇬🇧
why don’t ya just go for 1000?
Great videos - love this project. Have you any plans to test the rocket engine?
Not during these trials. That's to be added for the actual record runs. They've accounted for the weight distribution caused by the rocket though by filling the car with some extra fuel in particular tanks
👍🇬🇧🇨🇦
It is amazing to see how you humans are pushing to achieve new boundaries. Good luck! Keep up the footage.
@Cheap Seats Because it's exciting. Who doesn't love watching fast stuff?
500 seems quite lively, i struggle to conceive that it could go twice that 😲 Good luck!
Only after the Nammo rocket gets installed.
