I was able to multitask a bit at the end part by reading and listening at the same time
*1. Set your Intentions*
*2. Let them come and go*
*3. Remove Alternatives*
*4. Get Emotionally invested*
*5. Break down tasks*
*6. Consume Media intentionally*
Let them come 🤨
_Them_ means the *thoughts*
If the thoughts come, just write them down in a paper and think after the work is done.
Tip 4 seems like a great way for me to retain focus. I listen to music on a daily basis, so choosing music that aligns with what I'm doing, so I'm able to satisfy my craving for music, while being still on track with my current task/work. Thanks!

As someone who was only struggling to focus in a particular subject's exam preparation, this was pretty helpful. Also about your recommendation for being emotionally invested into the subjects, my last exam was physics, and as someone who is already a physics enthusiast, i love listening to not only Oppenheimer soundtrack, but also highly recommend the interstellar soundtrack, time from inception, some ambient playlists auto generated by spotify, and specially moonlight sonata by beethoven along with other similar classical pieces. In fact the night before exam i was listening to moonlight sonata on repeat

How to focus on my assignment on college?
You know your going to spend the entire day working when Gohar posts.
I am a grade 8 student in Canada , and I will soon be transitioning to high school. I am capable of studying and focusing diligently, no matter the circumstances. However, I am unsure about the direction I should take to be accepted into Harvard's MD program. Could you please advise me on the steps I should follow? Specifically, I would like to know which clubs I should join, what courses I should focus on, and any other activities or preparations and research projects I should undertake to enhance my chances of acceptance.

The greyscale method wont work on me, cuz i spend most of my time in my phone on discord or reading fanfics, which is still doable in greyscale.

Hello Gohar Khan, I suggest you check moroccan baccalaureate exam mathematical sciences track, it has some really hard math, physics, chemistry, electricity and also engineering sciences (it’s a subject called like that), some french guy even compared it to all high school leaving exams and ranked it as the hardest one! Because pf YT shorts I can’t even focus properly at school. It’s a good short burst of dopamine but it’s slowly killing our attention span… I don’t know how to fix it.
Watched the whole video without looking at my phone, I guess my focus is alright. I have never used instagram reels or tiktok. UA-cam long form content remains the best. You actually need to listen carefully to understand anything from the video.

Something that helped me focus is chewing chewing gum. Are you are studying like a game and giving yourself timer for memorizing hope this helps
