how's it going? been wanting to make this video for a whiiiiile now, couldn't wait for yaoyao to be out she's so cute- and using more dendro reactions has been on the to-do list for a while!!
i LOVE the dendro + hydro reaction but it's SO hard to guarantee the damage, definitely need to get better at it-
wish last video got a bit more attention :( put lots of effort into it but eh events really don't seem to peak your interest in the slightest unfortunately
desert exploration (one of the two anyway!) will be end of feb probably.
and the return of drawing will be around then too!

Tbh I just got into Burgeon just recently with Yaoyao's introduction and it's probably my favorite reaction in general regardless of where it's at in the meta. It just feels so satisfying to pop a bunch of cores at once with Thoma burst, and the team is surprisingly resilient all things considered.
I just wish I had a different Hydro besides Xingqiu since either Ayato or Childe would be able to keep up with the sheer amount of Dendro I have going with both Nahida and Yaoyao.

Generally Xiangling is going to apply to much pyro to really get a ton of burgeons but it can work to some degree. I'd suggest; Bennett burst, XQ skill and burst, YaoYao skill, Guoba, YaoYao burst and then normal attack and jump alternately. Xiangling's burst is going to just give you burning after reacting with the existing cores. You might be able to get it to work with a second source of hydro in Bennett's place (Yelan or Kokomi).

Honestly, I think a Bennett burst, Xingqiu burst+E, Xiangling burst, then Yao Yao burst. This is because Yao Yao stays on field while the other bursts can all be off field. Either way, great vid!
I like seeing the garbage artifacts, it makes it much more relatable. We've all felt the pain of endless domain runs and seeing those few, shining artifacts in the sea of shi..p makes it all worth while.

No way! Hahaha, I JUST started building a Xiangling team and only just got YaoYao last night. Got discouraged halfway through with bad artifacts, but this is good sign of encouragement to continue that build! Thank you for your videos! They're so homely and funny. C:
I recommend venti or sucrose for keeping enemies and blooms together. Sucrose can also add em, plus she's tons of fun in a DPS build if you want one em character.
Nice video! Btw, the order can be XinQiu burst, Bennett burst, xianglin burdt and then yaoyao burst. XinQiu ult first because his ult has the longest duration, and then Bennett ult so you can buff the ult of the other characters and xiangling before yaoyao since xiangling's ult can be snapshotted and even if you switch characters it doesn't change anything, while yaoyao ult stops summoning bunnies if you switch characters.
Funny story, I actually used a XL burgeon team against the thunder birb in the abyss, its surprisingly fun. Watching you realise its fun was also a treat

It's been awhile since I last commented, but I wanted to say you're making my days a bit better and I love your content :) I'm glad you just radiate the energy of having fun and I'm glad you're enjoying Yaoyao and Xiangling burgeon :D
Honestly one of the things I've been trying to do for the past few months is build all my characters and have their talents all up so I can play whatever character I felt like. It's super grindy but once you figure out what domains you need and, more importantly, what books you need for talents, the art of leveling and building characters isn't as bad. A lot of characters nowadays want either Emblem/Shimi or Deepwood/Gilded so I've just taken to farming those two domains for a few weeks then strongboxing into either crimson, thundering fury, or noblesse to build other characters. Thanks to that I have managed to 'build' many characters and most are just looking for that one artifact that'll even out their crit ratio or and elemental dmg goblet on set.

I like to pair up burgen with a cryo to freeze enemies in place. The order I have is hydro+ dendro+ cryo to freeze and then activate burgeon with pyro character. I only have 4* characters so I use a basic comp of YaoYao+ Barbara+Kaeya+Bennet or Xiangling
I can see now why Yaoyao is called Burgeoning Grace

hey!! really late comment but, as a burgeon team addict at this point, here's my advice about order/rotations:
enemies can actually only take damage from two burgeons/blooms every 0.5 seconds, so instead of making a lot of blooms then popping them all at once, it's usually better to try to make a lot of blooms over time while xiangling's burst (or thoma, or even kazuha/jean + bennett) pops them over and over again
there's something so satisfying about burgeon to me lol idk what it is... makes me feel like Klee, explosion lover
Its a good team because its a meta team called the 'national team' which is Xingqiu, Xiangling and Bennett. The 4th member can be anyone who can provide good synergy like Yaoyao but its usually Sucrose and Chongyun. There's also a variant with Ei called 'Rational' and a variant with Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha and Tartaglia called 'International'
Also about Burgeon, Xiangling actually applies pyro too fast for bloom to make more seeds and you end up with burning more than burgeon. Someone like Thoma or Yanfei are the more consistent units who can do burgeon. Enemies probably went down fast because of Vaporise rather than burgeon.

Hey! U could replace xingqiu with candace and use her burst and swap to yaoyao in her burst and attack,with xiangling burst and get constant cores and burgeon!
I have a team like this but it uses thoma, candace, yaoyao and the last spot is open. It’s really fun

the order might be bennet burst, xinqiu burst, xiangling burst, yao yao burst and basic attacks to make cores. i think you can create cores while there is a dendro related reaction on the enemies (applying hydro while the target is quickened or burning makes cores)

I would love to see a “building one char maxed every episode” series, would give less appreciated characters time to shine while also showing some builds and maybe some more fun /experimental ones, def an idea to consider!!
i thinkk you can try to use bennet burst, xingqiu burst, xiangling burst, then yaoyao’s burst; so that yaoyao can run around in the burst mode WHILE xiangling’s fire ring triggers the burgeon; if you put yaoyao first before xiangling, the max amount of dendro cores that can burgeoned caps at 5, if yaoyao is put last, the cores burgeoned before reaching that 5 max cap and therefore more damage output i think
If you’re running national team don’t expect to be burgeoning a lot though. For Xiangling she would be applying too much pyro it becomes burning anyway. Bennet is kinda useless since EM is more useful than attack + even more pyro which means even more burning. In 3.4’s roster the only character that’s good in burgeon is thoma and you generally don’t want another pyro and just get more hydro and dendro characters on your team.
So, for the burgeon on the Cryo Abyss Mage, in total, it was 48,330. Almost 50k.

building xiangling is so worth it! i finally built her she is so nice
welp.. if you want to make a burgeon team with Xiangling works, you need A LOT of Hydro to overpower Xiangling's fire :v
your rotation would be Bennet -> Xingqiu EQ -> XianglingE -> Yaoyao EQ + basic attacks.. - - repeat [if you want to use Xiangling's Burst, the team has to be changed to put out the Pyronado's fire application]
because Yaoyao apply more Dendro when she's on her 5s Burst and you get to shoot Xingqiu's rainsword while stacking Jade Spear damage on Yaoyao
Omg dps Yaoyao and 1k em Xiangling the burgeon buddies damage is insane and also very entertaining
0:33 ayo he just explained my hole genshin team!(xingqiu, yao yao, yanfei and wanderer) my caracthers are waek and i dont have a lot of time to play so i just do this and with my low AR no farming ass i get to do 1k+ damage
you can group the enemies and dendro cores together with kazuha (or sucrose)

The fact that hyperbloom home in on the enemy makes it a lot easier to work with compared to burgeon and bloom. Bloom you can easily get away with by having a good dendro and hydro application to produce more blooms to compensate for the enemy movements. With burgeon you compete with burning so a fast hydro applicator is actually necessary. Still love to see the big numbers of burgeon tho, in my case I use bennett to proc (sac sword+short E cooldown)
The one problem is they tend to target one only altogether, so you have to spread out with your electro attack.

you could've use thoma for more consistent burgeon reactions, but i understand he doesn't fit the "theme" of the video. i run yelan + kuki + yaoyao + thoma team for the exploration and it's really fun!
p.s: always happy to see people appreciating xiangling. she is truly the best dps in the game imo (and of the cutest character on top of that 🤗)
