It's unbelievably sad for the every day Russian people and their movie industry,
they were just starting to make good movies then a little man with a chip on his shoulder has now destroyed their lives along with a peaceful Ukrainian nation.
The Russian people have to be as strong at heart as the Ukrainian people and stand up and tell putin "not in our name".
"Mom, wanna watch Alien."
Mom: We have alien at home.
...
EXACTLY! 🤣
Mucus producing Aliens.
So glad the film makers didn't resort to clichés...
BWHAHAHAHAHA!
Hahahahha
Are you kidding? Classic. I want my alien monsters to act they have colds just getting mucus everywhere. It’s cliché but come on.. it’s an alien squid thing, that’s freaking awesome
hahahahahahahaha
The movie was not particularly good, but it was amazing what the Russians could do with the budget of only 6,5 mUSD. The visuals were really good on par with Ridley Scott movies and the props like guns, suits, creatures etc, for this money, amazing. Hopefully, the team behind this film will get their hands on to some better script in the future and make something more.
The reason hollywood movies have such high budgets is mostly actors. If you take a movie with a 100M budget and gave actors reasonable wages instead of absurd wages, it would go down to 20M.
For Russian conditions, this is a very expensive movie. But for Russian conditions also, it is a very bad movie.
@@pontram This is a very expensive movie for Russia. But from now on funding even documentaries will be too expensive to be able to do...
@@fredzep01 I do not really believe that. Movie making today needs no physical material. Workforce will not become expensive. Computers and cameras are already there. Electrical power and gas also. What will be missing is $.
Some cost in Hollywood are from actor and some cash goes into someone pocket instead on the movie(cut cost to get some money)
looks like someone did not get the rights for a alien movie
Lol
Right?!
hahahahahaahah even the intimate, close up, while terrified of alien while in panties scene is in there!!!!
SOOO many Alien cloned scenes i stopped counting!
Or the obvious US Space shuttle rip off. I mean they couldn’t come up with something more original looking?
Looks like a Remake Alien movie 1979 by Ridley Scott.
they put 99% of the movies budget into this trailer
How if the trailers are made from a finished to almost finished movie zero sense 😁 just the editing
Trailer was better than the actual movie..I didn't even finish it
that shot at 1:17 looks amazing
Yeah looks awesome
there are _several_ amazing shots and tricks and techniques used to film spectacular shots...alas the awful lack of original story and god-awful acting ruins it all
you mean 1:30 😂😂
Thanks god we've another horror movie set up in deep space!
I am thinking, Low budget knock off of Prometheus with a non-existent invisible monster.
Hey remember a long time ago when sometimes, scify was actually about science instead of feelings or scares?
This reminds me Even Horizon... one of the best si-fi thrillers ever made. If u did not see it yet, you are failing at life.
Pandorum is a good sci-fi thriller .
@@x3n0l3e6 yeah, that too.
I heard it’s really scary right? Or wait am I thinking of a different movie 🤔 anyway yeah I guess I’m failing at life haha I haven’t seen it
I didn't like it back in the day. I may consider trying it again on your recommendation

If it's not the next alien movie in the franchise, I'm not interested.
it sorta is :)

seems very intriguing w dark atmosphere and special fx. i'll definitely give it a try..
I love movie trailer like this. It doesn't give a clue or anything.. Good one. I'm going to watch it.
Man i thought this was movie about the 60s project gemini little disappointed not gonna lie
Waiting 🔥🔥🙄🙄
Watched it. Pretty good movie and good acting. They have to make part 2. I was absorbed into the move the whole time.
Ok, so I hate trailers that reveal too much...but this was at the complete opposite end and I have no clue what it is about and hence my curiosity flatlined.
@@chopholtz4950 I can be curious about it if it makes me curious. This didn't.
I heard Arnold turned down a role for this film. I WONT BE BACK!
I thought it was going to be an Alien movie with that sticky stuff
Looks like some cool effects… but what the hell is it even about ???
Good cameras and special effects are easily obtainable these days. Anyone can get the stuff, you don’t need to be a big film Director… But what you need is good actors and a damn good story for a movie to work.
It is a common misconception that if acting is bad, the actors are bad. Für 50% of their performance, they need the director to show them, how in his vision a scene has to be done, or to tell them that this was bad or good. Otherwise very experienced actors are needed, which are, well, more expensive. And, the director has to tell the cameraman his/her vision about filming dialogs, so that they can be cut later in post-production, to ensure fluent spoken texts viewed from different angles. Especially the Cut (also under the directors supervision, most good directors do it by themselves) has a massive influence on how the audience perceives a movie.
In this case the director was just incompetent. But also the writer. I can't even think they are students, since 'Dark Star' was John Carpenters' and Dan O'Bannons' student project almost 50 years ago.
@@pontram it can go both ways… but 90% of the time it’s the acting 🤷♂️
Low budget first time terrible Director movies can be great if the actors aren’t terrible. Director can literally screw everything but if the actings believable you can get into the story.. and that’s the whole point of watching! Also some of the best Directors today were Actors first.
Anyway.. it’s not a “Misconception” it’s my opinion and you’re entitled To have yours, but no point in speaking like it’s factual. ✌️
For a moment I thought this was a sequel from Will Simth movie.
You DonT KnoW WaY, VoU, aRe TemPering WiTH... AMen ❤
I thought, trailers should give you an idea what the film is about.
Is this on Netflix
Damn. This movie has Ridley Scott visual flair.
Yep, it's incredibly fortunate for them that CGI has become so affordable. Can you imagine if this flick only had all that poor acting to try and get the job done? It would have been a total cluster phuck if that had been the case. It's one of those 'be happy for the small miracles' deal... i guess, smh.
This movie/script had huge potential, and it even has/had a half decent storyline, smh. It's just too bad that it didn't have a couple of competent actors to pull things together, and to hold the cast up to a higher level. Even just a competent director and producer would have gone a long way in improving the finished product (imo). This movie brings to mind that old adage about not blaming the tools for the quality of the end product...
Guess it's still good enough for burning up an hour and half out of your life, if that's all you seek.
It has Alien vibe
So we’re still using 6ft fluorescent bulbs in the future?
Alien was already released in 1979
Yes"""This Looks like a Remake Alien movie 1979 by Ridley Scott.
"In space, no one can hear you cream"
why is there still flickering fluorescent lights used in these movies when we have LEDs and the like as tech now.. Thats an 80's - 90's effect because we didnt have the newer techs available .. I get it is used to enhance a mood BUT then you have to see how cool a malfunctioning LED looks like .. Fluorescent is dead man ...
Thought it was gonna be a movie similar to Among us
Im slightly confused with this movie, not in its content but the audio. I've been watching their mouths and it looks like they are speaking english, but the audio is just like a few milliseconds behind. Its like when you see those commercials where maybe the actor played the part well but didnt have the voice they were looking for so someone else done the lines and it was put over the top. I still don't know if they are speaking english or not haha.
Looks like a Remake Alien movie 1979 by Ridley Scott.
Possibly, though it would be more comparable to an 'Alien' remake utilizing former comedic stars like Wil Farrel, Mike Meyers and Gilda Radnor to make up the bulk of its primary cast...
Is it new Alien movie?
Honestly cant believe this cost 6.5 MILLION to make.. I CAN believe that it box officed just 150k world wide 😅 the teams hired to work on this need to reevaluate the worth of their work. Lighting was awful and inconsistent between cuts, the sound was not good (subtlety goes a long way with SFX, guys), the plot is just thrown in your face, the build up in tension is nonexistent, the pacing of the dialogue is super awkward, the voices of the actors cast all sound like they're trying to be super heros or cleche voices with their characters role...... SPFX are decent and thats about it.
bla bla bla bla bla
@@samolo800 he's right
Okay looks good.
Just watched this movie last night, wasn't that great, acting was subpar, English dialogues were kiddish, no common sense, I mean come on, some dude tries to put the Captain of the ship out of command and everybody is just quietly listening to their arguement 😂 like wtf?
Anyways, the visuals were absolutely fantastic, never really got a good view though of the monster/alien/whatever entity that was because it was always in the dark.
*Ok so spoiler from here on*
So there is a virus that's destroying all plant life on earth, oxygen is down to 10%. Humanity needs to do something about this or they shall perish. Luckily they find an alien tech sphere in a cave and after testing, find out that it literally creates life, creates a biosphere. But they can't use it on earth because of the virus. So they try to go to another planet to terraform it into a livable one. While doing the warp jump in their ship, something goes wrong and they apparently jump to a completely unknown part of the universe, they try to locate their position but they just can't seem to find where they are because all the constellations are messed up and there are unknown stars. Luckily there's a planet close by that is a suitable candidate for transforming (although it was not the one they wanted to go to). After this a lot of shit does down with the monster/alien/whatever entity that was and during the fight the protagonist finds a broken part of the sphere which he had given to his girlfriend as a gift back on earth, he wonders how this is possible and then realizes something, he asks someone to simulate what the universe should have looked like 4 billion years into the past. After the simulation was complete, it matched the current constellation, that's when he realised that they jumped thorough time and not through space, the planet infront of them was earth as it was 4 billion years ago. The ones who terraforms it was none other than humans itself. But the question about the virus in the future still remains. So he puts message in the sphere about the solution the the virus that he had found some time during the movie and 4 billion years into the future when his girlfriend goes to see the sphere after he had launched from earth, the sphere starts to play a hologram message and the protagonist is see telling her the solution to the virus. End of movie
Similar to Ryan Reynolds movie "life" I got bored trying to finish the film

Prometheus chapter two
Nope. Prometheus was the part of the Alien Anthology and covenent was the next one. The "last" was already teased, but without title name and trailer.

I see goo on the wall looking like spit, phlegm or sperm so I wonder, what must that be? So I RUB MY FINGER ON IT TO INSPECT WHAT IT IS!!!!
!!!!!!! MY GOSH !!!!!
to be fair, it does NOT look like any of those things, it looks perfectly clear and astronauts would ABSOLUTELY rub their fingers on it to inspect it because they would be worried it's hydraulics or lubricant leak! The only time they wouldn't is if there's a corrosive experiment it might be, but they would know where that is, so, again, not relevant!
The movie if RIFE with horrible inaccuracies, things scientists, pilots, the military guys and engineers would NEVER EVER do, ridiculous plot holes, terrible story, dangerous behaviours and THIS is what you have a problem with? Checking out goo?! AHAhaha you're a weirdo!
Interstellar 2.0
8/10
More like Interstellar without any competent actors or directors, and poor production as well.
So what are we...some kind of Suicide Squad?
The trailer are not so excited... Im not sure if the movie is good or not
When Prometheus meets alien.

if it is russian movie i am not going to watch even if it is free.
Seriously if I see another one of HR Geiger's style xenomorphs and acid slimes in any new sci-fi movies concerning exoplanets I'm gonna lose faith in humanity... and the film industry in particular. Please tell me that this: 1:07 ...is not what I think it is.
Spoiler alert:
The monster is some type of biomechanical tentacled blob, sent by an ancient alien civilization iirc
@@dmin5782 Thanks. So it's like Prometheus then? If so, practically exiting the old cliche and re-entering it again from the back door, wherever the other main box office goes, the producers just wanna hop on a piggyback ride for a quick buck... sigh... but how do you recommend, this a yes or a no?
@@captainjj7184I personally would recommend it.
Yes, the film is flawed. The actors are stiff, characters are very underdeveloped and made some dumb choices, but the twist is good, the atmosphere/tension is real and you can tell the movie's got heart in it.
Hahahahaha looks like a Bad Dragon Dildo
No thanks, they for sure tried but to many faults in this movie to place it on the must see again shelf. Maybe it was a lack of a known actor when i didnt recognise any of them if there is any in these Russian produced movies.
I’ve never experienced dialogue this bad. How do they get decent effects funding, and fail the production so bad. I stopped it 20 minutes into it and started watching Alien. It’s like everyone involved in this project was afraid to speak up and tell the director or producer that it sucks. Did they think it would be a hit? Maybe slip by as a cheap, low budget film? If this is what American movies are becoming, then we no longer are the leader in movies…maybe pizza delivery will be our national success. I’m so embarrassed I went back to finish watching…but I feel like this is a bad trip and I’ll wake up and see a trailer for the next great sci-fi.

I don't know what to say. The actors were acting like highschool kids.. the audio was horrible. But the worst was the story. So hard to move along with the story. It is a mixture of Alien, Spear and interstellar....conclusion.. Commies just don't know how to make aci-fi movies. Stick to WWII movies...

It looks so cheap!
Ehhhh
Time travel is, really, the homeless shleter of sci fi, which is right there with a " being stranded" plot line. A being stranded plotline is like being a crack hobo under a bridge, which is probably where they get those trypes of scripts. Unforunately, this movie has both.. Atleast Interstellar had compelling acting, cool robot, and good cinematography.
4/10 not enough vodka
Not impressed with that trailer its like a cheap film but not. ...
