2019 Mini Documentary - Surviving Voices: The Transgender Community and AIDS

In 2019, the National AIDS Memorial's Surviving Voices oral history project focused on the transgender community. This short documentary is culled from 17 interviews with activists and advocates from around the U.S. It sums up the experiences of transgender women and men, gender non-conforming and non-binary individuals living with HIV & AIDS as well as the contributions of activists (both HIV+ and HIV-) to the fight against the pandemic.
