Fallen Order is just such a gem of a game. I first played it during the beginning of Covid and I basically remember everything. And recently I played it again on harder difficulty and it is still soooo good. One of my all time favorites, really.
Oh, I am on the edge of buying Vampyr. its one of those games that looks awesome and then you hear alot of crap about it. I played Last of the lazarus last night and it was really nice, at least atmosphere ! So Yeah, Should I get Vampyr? Every time I feel like i hear enough negatives about it someone like you show up. All of the Tomb Raider games are solid on PS4. Definitive Edition is probably one of my favorites but talk about a game that is full of action and puzzle solving it's just as good as Uncharted imo and I absolutely love the game play and story lines.
The way you manage to give a great and easy to interpret overview of all 20 games is well done. As someone who now enjoys playing (and immersing) into single player games rather than online this is top notch. Easy sub 👍
How bout I give you a few, since our taste in games seem so similar: A Plague Tale: Requiem (even better than the first), Hi-Fi Rush, Lies of P, Pepper Grinder (short but worth it), Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Have a Nice Death, Astro Bot, Rollerdrome, Balatro, The Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Dead Space Remake, RE4 remake, Pyre, Celeste, Nier: Automata, Pizza Tower, Mullet Madjack. Dang, I realize I'm a serious single player gamer when I've played nearly all of these and the ones I haven't are on my wishlist. Great recommendations
Solid suggestions...I'll add Bioshock 1 & 2 remake(Minerva's Den too in the DLC on 2 is great), RE4 Remake and Metro Exodus. Some of these old games just have better single player campaigns imo
@@Veritas-Vincit I can agree with you there. I don't think it was garbage, but it was far too overpraised. The game didn't deserve a 10/10. A revenge story? been there done that countless times, and this one wasn't anything special. Overall I think it deserved an 8.5/10 and no GOTY.

@@braydon-idk Nice, kind of the same for me. I played it on PS for 20 minuets since it was free one month through PS Plus, bought it again for Steam Deck for 10 bucks but haven't got around to actually playing it. If you want a really good game recommendation, I highly suggest checking out that one called Returnal, it looks jaw dropping and it's a fun time. That game really flew under the radar.
I love that you put Tomb Raider in the list, it really is a great oldschool adventure game. Even though many people shove it aside as a 'Uncharted wanna be' I dare to state that it is better, or at least more complete of a game. All the parts of the game like the puzzles, exploration, Set pieces and combat seems to flow more naturally to me. Uncharted, although it is great, feels more formulaic and gamefied with very obvious combat arena's and a bit to many unbelievable AAA set pieces. You can't move a minute without the forced tension of slipping of a cliff or cliche's like that.
It doesnt hook you immediately; sure it has a cool intro but it slows up for a while after that. I love the game but it definitely took a few attempts to really get into it
Loved Outer Worlds, Tsushima, Witcher, Fallen Order and Cyberpunk, but Returnal and other loop-rogue likes are the plague. I do not wanna die a lot and repeat myself. Ever.

What do you think of the game Midnight Fight Express? It's a great isometric brawler that has high review scores but still doesn't get the love it deserves. I just picked up a PS5 Slim about a month ago and haven't owned a PlayStation since the Ps4. Your videos have helped me reconnect with old games I forgot and ones I've missed on the PS5. Big up the Krypto Mac Daddy!
You should have included Requiem with Innocence. I played both of them back to back and I have to say it’s been a while since a game had such a profound and strong effect on me emotionally. A definite recommend for anyone who appreciates a powerful story combined with exceptional visuals.

Brilliant list although I think that of the Survivor trilogy of TR games, while not bad, is the ‘least good’ of the series. Rise is easily the best one.
Everything about plague tale series was so good except some of the annoying puzzles, but I think I will not find any story in a video game that engaging like in these games
I'll be honest, even though i love hollow knight, it's only because it was highly popular For first timers, it's quite a drag in the beginning, no dash, no double jump, no fancy stuff, honestly if it was not for the popularity, I'd probably have given up on this game since it's let's be honest very draggy during the first few hours

I quit drinking while playing hades and it was crazy fighting thru the underworld while fighting my own demons. It was such a great game.
Such a great game, I highly recommend checking out the 2nd one, it ain't easy, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a ton of fun.
Im hoping you can keep on that route, stay sober bro!
