Isn’t it Amazing how he did even question the sources he is getting Manethos sources from even tho none of his original works survive, yet throughout all the video he is ridiculing the Old Testament even to the point of calling it Misleading.
2000+ year old texts yet a lot of the things mentioned in there is actually now being confirmed.
They always fail to mention or even bring up all the empires at the top of their power that the Hebrews have to endure. It a good thing Rome tried to steal the books and claimed them, otherwise they would have written it out of history like they did a lot of things.

Really enjoyed this lecture. I hope to hear about ancient Sumerians and Hittites in dedicated videos.

24:00 Yep, the Northren kingdom was polytheist, which is exactly why the biblical prophets were always yelling at them saying “you’ll be sorry!” Bit of a Judaean gloat post the Assyrian invasion.

I understood that the Museum was dedicated to the muses and thus to art and that the actual library (or at least the non-fiction section) was in the Serapeum instead, where Christians lynched Hypatia.

Your commentary on Jerusalem reminds me of Twain’s description of the region: “Missouri could be split into three Palestines and part of a fourth.”

Babylon is still used as a term to refer to the "material world" or the "world of man" in reggae music. It's kind of the antithesis of "Zion" which they refer to as the paradise of joy and peace given to them by God- if they can take it.

Wasn’t Ramses the Great’s eldest son Amunherkepshef the first recorded archaeologist?

I'm the first viewer and commenter on this video! I'm not going to even wait until the end of the video to find out if you have a proper outro or not.

1-2 Samuel and 1 Kings probably exaggerate the power and extent of the Davidic-Solomonic kingdom. But the account presented here - that no modern scholar worth his salt believes any such united monarchy ever existed - is misleading at best.
