@@thecringekid1321 it started as a book series, it got this game and a show adaptation apparently. I only know of it because these books come through the Goodwill I work at from time to time.
The new book coming out is called the last kids on earth and the doomsday race and it’s coming out on September 14th but idk when the next season is coming out
I used to read Eerie Elementary then my school librarian showed me last kids on earth so I tried and I saw that the author is the same as Eerie Elementary

@@lathanfitzpatrick3531 this game seems like more of an introduction to action RPGs for the demographic that would enjoy the book series or show (which I'd guess is late elementary to middle school) so it seems a bit simpler than say a Dark Souls game. As that it seems pretty good, sure FromSoftware games or other big name action RPG companies (From being the one that I go to) do better, but as an entry point it seems solid, nothing outstanding but nothing completly terrible either. It has a style that seems to fit the books pretty well if the front cover is anything to go by. Admittedly I'd be interested in a souls-like set in this universe with some of the creature designs being fitting of that company's legacy (I mean dragons are a start). Would consider picking that game up myself, I mean it sounds like a lot of fun if executed well. It wouldn't have the heavy and bleak tone that FromSoftware is known for (as well as other souls-like in Code Vein, The Surge 1 and 2, Hollow Knight, Salt and Sanctuary and Lords of the Fallen just to name a few), having the more vibrant and cartoony art style would be distinct. Plus I'd love to see the inventive weapon ideas that a talented team would come up with, they could probably make a Sword that transforms into a bow look mundane (and no, not the Dark Souls 2 infusion). This would also be quite standout as even in the insane roster of unique and iconic weapons that these games tend to create (I'm looking at you Moonlight Greatsword), I mean most of these weapons would be made by kids to early teenagers, so they'd be quite imaginative if done well.
