It is all music. Perfect music, and no one does it better. This is definitely my favorite channel on the entire internet. Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
Probably one of the best videos you ever made when it comes to the true art form of what you do and what you teach and what we love thank you thank you thank you you know it's not always about Amazon
Thank you yet again, for your skills and for sharing your peace. Strange times my friend, I sincerely wish health and safety to yoy and you family. Be safe please
This guy never disappoints! Of all the people I watch, this guy has become my favorite. Amazing blend of skills, both in the forest and with the camera!
Ooh, birch "juice"... We used to drink a lot in the countryside of Russia when I was a kid. Also loved you shelter. Looks warm and cozy. Should smell pretty good
Hi Swede: Possibly one of the most instructive & satisfying 33 minutes of bushcraft & serenity I've had in a long time Please , stay safe in this perilous time. Thanks Brian 79
For me ,you have created the absolute perfect bushcraft/outdoor channel , excellent cinematography, always something new to see , great sound . Respect to all your work. Question , I think these boots are lundhags , which model are they ?
The man is an artist in filming and his skills are impressive to say the least! The scenery of his videos is simply majestic! Can't wait for the next one!!!
My friend I'm 62 years old and have been doing bushcraft for 30 years when people didn't know what bushcraft was. Anyway I love watching you you really love what you do and you know your shit . Live outdoors my friend .
Fascinating how you manage to do this fire!! I must learn that technique. That will be the next project! Well done Swedwoods it was interesting to see your video as always. You are for sure very skillful! Hope all are well and good to see thats spring has camped to your place!! (no snow) All the best from me!
Recreation in the forest, by the fire, in the fresh clean air, distracts from everything bad, there is time to calmly think and make the right decision, as well as to strengthen your health and enjoy the beautiful views of the mysterious forest.
Just out of curiosity, how long roughly did it take you to locate the wood for your bowdrill set, create the set, get your fire going, and then complete your shelter for the evening? I thinnk a lot of people definitely romanticize about being able to do what you just did (in an easy fashion) but don't realize how long it actually takes to complete it all successfully. Great video as always! God Bless; stay safe.
Thanks! That took all morning and a bit past lunch! You are right moving around in the woods collecting stuff makes the hours fly! And if you add the camera work you can think x 3 at least. People have no idea how much work this is.
@@JohnDavis-im1oy The challenge, here, is to survive in the boonies w/ nothing but the clothes on your back, a knife and a bit of string. ;) A more serious challenge is to do it for more than a week, w/o going hungry or getting hypothermia. ;)
Hi Swed, there should be no hate coming your way for sure and at times like this thanks so much for making as you do always good take care Swed and be safe you really have an edge
Great video. Cracking bit of kit the Mora. A really good solid knife at a low cost. I recently picked up a thick bladed carbon steel Mora, (my first), and now I grab it as my 'go to' knife every time. Not as pretty as my hand finished sheath knife, but in all honesty, a better working blade. You can give it a hard time without worry or regret; a tool rather than a fancy 'accessory'.
I am speechless watching your bushcraft skills. You make everything looking so easy but anyone who once tried to do all of this knows how difficult it could be. But for it looks like super easy it's killing me 😅 Splendid work🎉
Your videos are so peaceful. You're easily in my top 3 faves for bushcraft videos. I just wish you would make longer videos like Joe Robinet makes. I'd be happy just watching you paint with the camera pointing at the water.
Huge respect to you for that fire starting technique and a great touch with the shoelace ;) Only ever saw it done once before in Brunei and never managed it myself no matter how much I was sawing away . Great vid and thanks for sharing .
Good night. Your videos are amazing. You watch and rest, as if you are present in the forest. You convey the sounds of the forest and nature so beautifully and subtly that you want to watch your movies again and again. By the way, you learn quickly-getting a fire is really inspiring, isn't it?.. If you allow - one small tip to make the water boil, you need to make a trough with a flat bottom from birch bark and post 2 thick cross sticks, and under them build a fire. Also, when making dishes from birch bark, so that it bends more easily and takes the desired shape, but does not break - it needs to be heated a little by the fire. I repeat - You have a great channel and, perhaps, the best nature movies in all of UA-cam(!) People who live in the city-do not have enough of the atmosphere that You convey. Shoot more - it's very beautiful 🙌 😌 👍
Awesome brother👍👍 Superior camera work. Birch bark crafting was super, no Birch trees in my area...sad. 24 hr liquid diet, cleanses the body😉 Debris shelter was nice, sometimes necessary or can be desirable. Bow drill skills were excellent. Great video again as usual👌 Stay healthy. Enjoy!
Wow, it is nice to see you working into the woods, fire, cup, home.... Now I only have to have a big memory to remind all if I have to survive.... jeje. Very good jobs my friend. Greetings from Madrid

Very nice film again. Here in the Netherlands we have birch but the bark is much thinner then in Scandinavia to thin for making bowls and such like you do .I want to make a video with one tool also but I am still looking for an option to boil water with natural "Dutch" materials . Thanks for your upload this is really a nice one .Greetings Martin.
Well done on the fire and great close-up of the ember. Also enjoyed how you put the shelter together with a solid skeleton and then careful weaving of the branches. Funny, we used to do the same thing when we were kids in the woods close to home.
Birch bark is the duct tape of nature. Thanks for another great video! Be well, and stay safe, from here in the Allegheny National Forest in Northwest Pennsylvania (where we now getting snow).
If anyone hates on your vids they have issues. you're a wonderful steward of the forest. everyone should be as respectful as yourself.

Truly one of the great bushcraft channels on all of UA-cam. Thanks for the content Swedwoods.

Thank you, that was pure minimalism. Perfect. So important in these trying times. Nice knife.
