Our Stapelia gigantea is in flower! // Care & info

Hello everyone!
This week the long awaited flower on our Stepelia gigantea opened, and we couldn''t miss the oportunity to make a quick video. We're planning to make a proper spotlight on this flower later, but for now, we hope you enjoy seeing the bloom, and learning a bit about how we care for this succulent.

Wow, it's a gorgeous Stapelia !!! That flower is amazing!!! I grow my Stapelias and relatives outdoors and even if I stick my nose on them I cannot feel real bad smell!!! They attract flies, though... Anyhow, the beauty of the flowers makes up for everything else. Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate it 💖💖💖

Isn't it?! I'm so happy it's blooming😍 In person they are even more impressive, the bud grows so much it looks like a balloon about to pop🎈 We keep the variegata outside and I usually hear the flies before finding the blooms 😂
