Good stuff. I did a similar conversion on my car but with a Corsa C column instead. I've got a five position switch that I've wired into the controller so I can have a high level of assist in the paddock and dial it back for the track. One job I've still to do is to take the rack out and do a full "depower" on it to remove the inherent bit of slop that is there with no pressurised fluid.
Awesome bro, thank you for the feedback 🙌🏻
Kyalami!!🎉😊
Engine and box in the Fiestaaa!🎉
Awesome.
Let’s gooo!!!!!
Great work! This is the first time I've seen a steering mod like this. Can't wait to see the next video on the engine build.
Thanks for the information, glad I can help 💪🏻
Can't wait to see it there 😮
🙌🏻
So i have a 1993 bmw 318is e36. With a m42 engine. What would you say are the best bang for your buck engine mods because it is so slow
Thanks for watching, the basic stuff is always a good place to start.
Exhaust (headers & balance)
Stage 1 Cams with a tune
One of the best upgrades would be to change the diff ratio to a 3.64 or 3.9. This will reduce your top speed but increase your mid range acceleration.
I wouldn’t go for ITB’s unless you are going to commit to more compression, cams & exhaust with a tune.
Interesting. I just finished swapping in a z3 1.9 into mine for the faster ratio. Always interested in retrofit improvements.
Fantastic, thank you for watching! 🙌🏻
Thanks for sharing all the good work you've done on this car. I'm battling some high coolant temps at the moment so interested to know about your engine cooling setup. I think I understand the layout of your system but are you still running a thermostat? What radiator have you fitted? Did you leave the coolant line at the back of the head blocked off? Thanks!
Thanks for watching 🙌🏻
I’m using an E36 328i radiator. I have also removed the plastic tanks and replaced them with Ally.
I am not running a thermostat but I would advise running one. Then the water line at the back of the head is still blocked off.
I also used a welch plug to block off the hole in the block for the last water line to the heater system.
Feel free to ask, always willing to help!
Wonder if this will work in a E30
Yes it will, 100%
