Best car Cadillac ever made. Cadillac needs to bring it back into the lineup. Why in the world did they get rid of the beige exterior color in newer models?

I don’t know. I’ve not read great things about the Northstar engines. Apparently, they’re a nightmare when they go bad.
A lot of these cars have been coming up for sale near me for good prices, hope to buy one as my first car given that my dad has owned one of these in the past and it was one of the nicest care i have been in.

Hakeem Sd70M Yes. Some trim levels had rear seat vanity mirrors. I have a review of the older body style 1999 D’Elegance trim that has the rear seat vanity mirrors.
Sabrano Wood trim? Is it real wood?

Typical of any GM product. That light is always on on anything built by them it seems.
Service Engine Light is on with key in Ignition and Car Not Running. , Will turn off withing 120 sec of Starting car unless there is a known computer sensor concern
replace the 02 sensor and the engine light will dissappear
Probably just an O2 sensor.
it's funny when poorly informed people keep praising german cars to high heaven while talking crap about american ones, as this looks like a very stately and comfy ride within reach of the average working person.
In my humble opinion, Cadillacs biggest downfall came when they tried to compete with the European luxury sports cars. When they came out with the Seville STS, while the car looked great, that’s when their quality started to go down. They invested so much in chassis and engine, that the interior, where Cadillac once flourished, took backseat. Unfortunately now, Cadillac is just an expensive badge-engineered Chevrolet.

As a Cadillac man... Beware of the Northstar engine!!!... Do research on them... I own a beautiful 2003 Cadillac DeVille which had a Northstar engine.. make a long story short I replaced it with a Jasper engine!!!
