Rest in peace, Philip. The Queen has lost her steady companion and rock of 73 years.
I’m really missing him 3 months on and another family row over him like WHY? I don’t know what Prince Philip would think if he seen my family rowing with me as I’m grieving. He’d probably go insane

I knew they’ve been married for a very long time since I saw them together on Remembrance Sunday a few years ago. But 70+ years is a very long time. I cry on every video about Prince Philip because he’s no longer with us anymore. I even cried the other night over him and luckily it was 1am in the morning by then so no one heard me cry my eyes out and I was so wet that I was ill the same morning. This horrible grief is never going to end

I think I’m becoming obsessed with Prince Philip now because I’m getting things about him and Mummy wasn’t impressed but it’s what I love and she really needs to get a grip
Mummy has finally gotten a grip and supporting me during this difficult time but had professional help in early August and it really helped even when Mummy said “she gets upset about the Duke of Edinburgh” I had a bit of a meltdown and hugged Mummy but I didn’t cry for long because I knew she’d tell them. Still miss you Prince Philip even after 6 months

Oh of course, that's the media for you. In any case apparently the bloke writing it is some republican git haha. Seriously though it is potentially very damaging that series because they're deliberately mis-representing a lot of things, it's not at all accurate as you observed. Dramatic licence is all very well, but you can take things too far... and I think you have a duty to exercise a lot more restraint when you're talking about events in living memory. But there that's the industry, been that way forever pretty much. "Cecil B. DeMill, much against his will, was persuaded to leave Moses out of The Wars of the Roses." More truthfully perhaps, you have the shoehorning of an American character into the story of The Great Escape, I think in order to secure American funding for the film. And it's not at all just an American thing. The British film The King's Speech, while a very good film I thought, presents a terribly garbled and inaccurate version of the events. I highly recommend the book of the same name, which is by Mark Logue I believe, and tells the real story of Lionel and his relationship with King George.

I cried when Elizabeth said I will to Prince Philip because that was my dream of this wedding when I said I definitely will and Prince Philip was waiting to be hugging me and Elizabeth ruined the wedding as Philip was about too. She got so mad that she slapped him and I walked off. The best part of the dream was when Prince Philip called Elizabeth embarrassing. And then Prince Philip went to go and get me to tell me everything was okay he also told me that he dealt with Elizabeth then the rest of the wedding went ahead as normal
