My parents sent me to Monastery young. At 19 I left monastery to pursue my formal educations. By 26 i got a master degree in Finance, approved PR in USA - jobs lined up, was making very good doing trading and job salary. I was really happy but I always missed that part being Mindfulness creature at the monastery. At 31 I resigned from my job, took a one way trip to Dharamshala. Today I’m 34 a monk again & teach basic finance to Monks. Remember guys no god is coming to save you from your suffering, it’s your own actions today will make better or worse individual.

Celibacy is the most incredibly powerful force for these monks.
I also know a few Jain and Buddhist monks in India who have been celibate since birth. They exhibit remarkable calmness, emotional strength, freedom from anxiety and acute stress, high energy levels for physical movements, exceptional control over their senses and thoughts, and an iron-clad discipline. This state is profoundly empowering.
As celibacy has been associated with religion, many people see it as a "forced or unnatural" pratice, disregarding the benefits.

The Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism (the oldest Tibetan School of Buddhism) does not require one to be a celibate to be a monk. Celibacy doesn't work for everyone. And the Nyingma monks also exhibit remarkable calmness, emotional strength, freedom from anxiety and acute stress, high energy levels, exceptional control over their senses and thoughts, and an iron-clad discipline. Often while also being a family man or woman, and when/if they chose to raise children, they show absolutely stunning parenting skills.

Buddhist means the person who sees the world with a different point of view 🌷💯
Buddhism teaches that different way. It teaches the reality. It shows the way to develop our mind. It is not an easy way. But if you follow that, you will definitely find 'nibbana '

It is sad for the monk who is in your thumbnail that you have a heading like don’t be a monk. It makes it seem as if he clearly said that to you, which might bring him a lot of trouble within his community. It is a gift that people are willing to share their lives and stories with you and it is a pity that this had been abused for click bait. Perhaps better to not leave damage behind you when people are so kind.

This is so true. You will believe in your mind that you are sacrificing, but once you have that meaning, there is little pain in losing that which you give up willingly. As someone who had to sacrifice my family connections for my better self, this rings true.

Interesting that none of them spoke about Self-Realization was what they were going for, that when you surrender to the Divine it fulfills you and then the outer world has no more control over you. It is much easier to be in a monastery than in the outside world - humanity will eventually learn how to be at peace within themselves and still live an every day human life....bringing heaven to earth is what is happening as Mother Earth is Ascending to the 5th dimension, which is more heart centered and transcending the duality matrix.

A friend of mine who practiced Zen Buddhism said a similar thing. He sid that it is easy to be at ease when all your surroundings are calm, serene and peaceful and no adversity is present. The challenge is can you do it when there is adversity and nothing is how you want it to be.
I think sustained contentment arises from accepting every moment for what it is and not how you wish for it to be. Most, if not all our discontentment stems from wanting a certain reality, as opposed to accepting what is reality at any given moment. The wisdom is knowing how to navigate our desires and adversities.

lol do you know any Tibetan monastics?? Tibetan monasteries are incredibly social, scholastic, artistic, there's a heavy work-load, political, cultural, and mind training/meditation. They are essentially in a boarding university setting for Buddhism. They get up at 3am study, work, practice until 11pm. They are constantly around others in a communal living setting, studying, practicing, doing puja art, etc. and helping the community, it is incredibly social and not any easier than lay-people's lives. Buddhists do not believe in "divinity" in the traditional sense as in an external god btw

🤲🤲🤲💜💜💜Hi folks! Buddhism is totally free. The Dharma is free. Happiness is free. You do not need people on the Internet telling you how to be happy. Self-confidence is key. To take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha means to take refuge within one’s self. Develop your wisdom mind. Transform your life. Make your daily life your spiritual life. When we die, the only thing we take with us is our habitual mind. Do not be a slave to habits. Do not be a slave to ego. Master your mind. ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏 we do not know our time of death. Young people died before old people every day. We do not know how we will die. The only thing we know is that we will die. Use this as motivation to practice the Dharma. Be grateful that you have one more day to practice. Everything is practice ~ always practice.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

I work in and spend time in a buddhist community. Ordained monks and nuns have a purpose, a plan, a community, a daily routine and often a place to live that's paid for. My question is, how does the every day person who wishes to be deeply spiritual live a regular life in such a way as monks and nuns while simultaneously managing bills, work, a home and navigating a peaceful community and perhaps also the question of regular society with family/marriage/kids etc. Plus all the vast influence around them trying to make them fit into a certain mould. Most influences very very toxic and created from a place of compete imbalance. It affects you! It's definitely more challenging and I have seen this first hand. I think the answer must be to try and find community and people and work which aligns with your spiritual values, but, I have to say, it's definitely harder... It's almost like living in two worlds.. the buddhist community and surroundings really are peaceful. It's like being in a bubble. Step into the regular world and you really feel the harshness.... Being single or celibate for spiritual reasons outside of a spiritual community means you have to forge a different way of life for yourself and living situation in order to not get lonely and feel ostracised. Society is just not set up for that, it's set up for people to join together and have families etc.
I think I'm slightly venting here. I think these types of videos can be inspiring, however, I have seen the other side to it, and ordained monks and nuns have chosen to step out of regular society for a reason. So, in a way, they are not actually in a position to talk on how to find peace for the average person. They took themselves out of society. It's much better to find someone who has mastered peace, truly, when living in a regular society. And those people, are hard to find. Most 'coaches/teachers' I have met still live with their parents as they can't afford their own place. This is because, they havn't yet mastered a way to truly find peace and manage in the regular world. Or people sell 'the answer' in expensive courses to try and pay their rent. It's all abit warped. I must be venting here. In summary, most societies are simply not set up for people to be truly and deeply spiritual. It seems as though, if you're really serious about that, perhaps it is best to take yourself off to a monastery. To master normal life and still achieve certain states daily, I think IS possible, but MUCH harder than most ever make out. - Rant done :) haha

you can show love to others in your daily basis wherever you live. Cause we are human and we all appreciate love, compassion and peace. When you show loving, kindness and people will repay you same. That way you shared positivity to all and also learn to forgive when someone is mean. Cause they are the best teacher to test your patience. You can make big difference in society, country or states.
