Almost makes me sad when I watch Icelandic and Faeroe written language. It's variations of how we Norwegians still should've talked. Being proud and protective of your heritage is a good thing.
I think it's cool that most Norwegians still can understand most of the old language :) I myself understand most of it, though i can't write a single sentence in your language

Nej, hun synger på færøsk. Både færøsk, islandsk og norsk tilhører den vestnordiske sprogstamme. Så der er visse ligheder sprogene imellem.
