    What's the point of PMQs when questions are not answered? When the PM is only required to RESPOND? He habitually responds with waffle and counter-accusation; sometimes with lies and obfuscation; or by shifting blame. The House of lies rolls on.

      Absolutely. Totally agree with your sentiments. He never ever answers the question and just blames every body but himself for the complete mess this country is in. Its only a matter of time before the Tories are given there bus fare home. The clock is ticking. Can you hear it!

      Well, he wants to make sure we don't go back to Square One in 2010.
      Hospital queues were 1/3 what they are now
      Inflation was 1/4 of what it is now
      National Debt was less than half what it is now (44%)
      We had positive growth, and no recession as we do now
      The people are desperate to get back to Square One.

    Q. How can Labour block any bill or motion when the tories have a majority? I get fed up of him repeating 'labour is blocking our attempts to...blah blah... when they cant block anything!

      The Tories have a beefy majority. Still despite their many byelection losses.

    If Israel chooses not to respect or recognize the jurisdiction of the UN International Court of Justice in this case, then it raises a fundamental question about its own legitimacy, which was established through a resolution by the same United Nations. This situation highlights a significant inconsistency: on one hand, Israel's statehood is recognized under a UN resolution, yet on the other, it appears to disregard the authority of a key UN judicial body. This discrepancy between accepting UN decisions that are beneficial while rejecting those that are not undermines the principles of international law and order that the United Nations stands for

      @BadgerGirl 11 місяців тому

      the fundamental problem with the UN is the Security Council and specifically the permanent seats which to put it bluntly undermine the purpose of the UN and enforce a kind of imperialism by proxy on the world, the UN can in a way make any judgment it wishes but the security council is ultimately the enforcement arm of the UN and due to its make up is essentially a toothless tiger because the makeup for the 5 permanent members and the requirement for a unanimous vote for many things and the veto powers of the permanent members means it rarely ever passes any punitive resolutions or enforcements of rulings, the only purpose it serves is to ensure the world allies around either the US - UK bloc or the RUS-China bloc and as long as you have freindly enough terms with a perminant memeber they will veto any punishment from the UN no matter what you do

      Total gibberish. UN members ignore resolutions all the time.

    Is it just me or does Rishi sound mentally exhausted and defeated already, whenever the general election is held? He just sounds like a totally defeated man.

    Why did Westminster vote against Proportional Representation?

      Westminster didnt. The public voted against it. The 2011 referendum voted thus....Against 67.9% For 32.1% So you can see PR (AV) was overwhelmingly rejected. Democracy !

      @@blaircorral8158 After the general election, David Cameron didnt have enough seats to form a government. He asked the LIb Dems to form a coalition. Nick Clegg's price was a referendum on PR.(AV) Cameron agreed. So in 2011 we had a referendum on changing the voting system. (it was only for Westminster)
      The public were not bothered, as the turnout was only 42%

    can someone please ask Ritchy about the seemingly somewhat bizarre relationship between INFOSYS, Unit 8200, Israeli Intelligence, Elbit Systems, & the running of the uk’s information infrastructure ? seeing as Sir Keith Steamer is a proud member of the Trilateral Commission, he’s highly unlikely to be the one to do it. ta.
