A really old bike frame with as much high tech gear on it as possible and a top of the range frame (both hardtails) with loads o shite components on it and put them through their paces on same tracks etc etc 😁🤟🤙
He'd be more suited to the joinery side of carpentry work, I don't think shuttering and framing roofs would be his thing, but definitely joinery! I think the fact he's a perfectionist helps alot too, but I agree with you, he's pretty good.
Hadn’t ridden mtb since I was 20, now I’m 37, and teaching my 4yr/old to ride + watching Blake, Martin, Doddy, Neil and the rest of GMBN squad has gotten me back in the saddle, riding 4 days a week on local trails and packing our backyard full of trails and features. You’re right Blake, UA-cam is a great inspiration. Thanks boys!
great build blake! as a carpenter though, seeing you chisel towards your hand was terrifying!! one slip and you could have a really nasty cut- I'd recommend a bench vise (can be had cheap second-hand, look on facebook marketplace or ebay) or even just a couple of clamps to hold things down (can get them dirt cheap from any diy/tool seller) on a similar note, definitely wear a dust mask when working with power tools or sanding in a small unventilated shop like that! wood dust plays havoc with your lungs over time, and a proper mask can (literally) be a lifesaver. toolstation's disposable ones are a bit janky but fine for casual work- I'd recommend getting one rated at FFP2 or above. stay safe and happy building!
This is freaking genius. Im loving the Blake Builds series, its a great addition to the rest of the content. Also, you inadvertently went with my favorite color combo on a bike with the Grey and green/yellow.
Blake your energy is contagious! Fabulous man! I just can't deal with your son not having a seat man. You should also get your worktop clamp bru. You've got everything else.
Balance bikes are amazing, used them for both my kids. My 2nd kid was riding a pedal bike at 2yo. Now at 3 going off mini ramps, down mini trails. Unfortunately had a fall on a flat path due to he wind, didnt expect it and broke his arm. He can't wait to get back on it. Endless talent by Blake, never ceases to amaze me, amazing work.

Nice, and you can slowly upgrade the frame by just building a new frame occasionally. Until the day finally when the wee lad gets his first real bike. What a day that will be.
OMG best idea ever! To clean up the sawdust, you could have a long tube coming off of a vacuum cleaner and put the tube in the floor board things under the shelves. Drill so large holes in the tube and then when you need to, just scrape the sawdust off the work top, hit the button, and it sucks it all up! You should give it a go!
Been waiting this morning to see what the build would be today and I’m not disappointed! I wanna make one for my little girl now 😎 awesome work as always Blake 🤘🏻
Whoah whoah whoah whoah, this was excellent...but where’s the fourth episode of the cave build!? I’m excited to see it and was looking forward to today’s episode! 🚲
Dig the reengineered HTA. That's gotta be 45 degrees or so . Here's a crazy challenge that sounds good.. Gmbn presenters each build an Adult full squish balance bike from an old bike which you'll race DH at your gmbn event when that happens. Possibly Challenge EMBN to a race. Hammer on gents

Pretty sure his name is Boet because Boet means "brother" in Afrikaans
HARPERFILM then why does he shout Charlie?
@@fingram5343 Hmm true. He also calls him Boet on his Instagram though. Does that mean Blake has two kids?
@@harperfilm4379 I think it's a term like "kiddo" or similar.
Hey Blake, add a bench vice to the worktop, it will come in very handy.
He´ll keep that little bike forever and remember his dad build it for him for the rest of his live I hope. What a great project!

A man building a bike from scratch so enthusiastically for his son. What a great father you are, Blake. Awesome chap!
I swear Blake could be a carpenter. he is that good 👌💯

He was a junior drafstman before mtb
I said the same last week 🤙
He probably was

That! 👍👍👍🤞

Blake hats off man! What a superb idea! Hope the little man loves it!
He will get the hang of it Blake. My son just turned 2, he’s had his about 2 months now and he’s all over the place with it. 👍🏻👍🏻

Very cool seeing Blake so excited about building Little Mans bike. Already a great father!
I am a carpenter, and this is actualy.... Fantastic !
You're great Blake, keep doing this please! Might be interesting to build a service bike stand or even a bike hang system in your cave.
I am looking forward to seeing Neil do his bike cave. Doddy and now Blake have amazing caves. Neils defo to be next!
You’re a good man, Blake. My kids are all beyond the balance bike stage, but it was cool watching you build this for Charlie.
Absolutely 100% awesome Blake. Cudos for wanting to get it spot on for the little man. Well done.
Blake Builds are the best
Wow looks cool, talk about long, low, slack😂
I was really disappointed to not find another bike cave build episode. Until I started watching. Nothing will ever top this.
More bike cave updates coming this weekend and next!
Wow what a great dad building a bike for little man. Great result, he's going to have a lot of fun on it.
Awesome project. And more than that, the energy you brought to it and pure joy was infectious. Keep up the great work!
Blake: "I'm gonna build something"
Brooms nearby: "Oh Sh*t, here we go again!"
Great build Blake, little man is stoked on his new (EBB) Enduro Balance Bike. 🤘🏻
That was fantastic, so so so slack! Bloody adorable too!
Wow, amazing video as always, keep up the great work!
Make the most of this little man! He'll be riding 29s before you know it. :-) Also, might want to invest in a bench vice too.
Yeh too right, mine takes me out for rides now - he's 36!
Lovely sentiment in this video. Brought a wide smile to my face.
Gr8 job !
He should build a fully with 15 millimeters of travel

Blake is like the coolest guy ever..... Just, the coolest
V 2.0 with adjustable head angle and a flip chip for adjusting the wheelbase.
Great video. Have fun on wheels with your entire family.
Love the lockdown vids

Very nice! I like the window but, you need more light in the shed. Keep it up.
Silky smooth paint for those silky smooth trails 👍👍👌
The background music is fantastic!!! Good work guys
Best Blake Builds ever!
I just want more Blake....
Blake epic ride, Blake bikecamp, and I wanna see Blake jump

Awesome project!! If I my suggest... I would add a little seat to the balance bike. Thanks for the inspiration man!
No need for seat. Slightly wet nappy does the job.
I know Blake is always so funny and crazy excited always, but new watchers would think he is going crazy from quarantine.
Ride Little Man Ride and you will be Daddy;s riding buddy soon !! Cheers from Canada East Coast .

beautiful what you did with your son he is the happiest nice video..
How cute. Your son is adorable.
Top dad skills right there 👍🏻
Brilliant Blake, top job. Grips and the little mans name on the frame would be cool! 👍
Blake that balance bike is so cool. I bet you could start your own bike brand now.
Honestly being Blake's son would be amazing because you would literally get the best bikes and free gmbn merch
Lucky cute boy and a great father too!
I don't know Who is happier you or your son, He will be so proud to have a dad like you.
Next proyect would be a wooden berm
Damn, with that head angle he should be shredding techy descents in no time.
He definitly needs intergreated storage and a mullet Setup otherwise he can't shred as nice 🤙🤣🤣
I Love your vids keep Up the good work👍🤟
Awesome job Blake.
Yes , get it in the bike vault “ super nice “ 👍
Awesome job Dad! I might recommend a shopvac and vise though....
Haha mixing glue and saw dust to fill the cracks is the woodworkers equivalent of "A grinder and Paint make me the welder I ain't".
